I came across this book when I used to work at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. There was a book convention and at the end of the day when everyone was gone I walked around the floor browsing books and this book caught my attention, it remind me of my younger years when I spent an hour, or two, at a bookstore looking for something to awesome to read and take home with me. So, after spending some time reading this book I used the book flap to mark the last page I read but, unfortunately, I never had the chance to go back to it. A few days later when I was getting ready to go to work I went to the break room and saw this book on a shelve where we kept magazines and other reading materials. I picked it up, and the book flap was exactly where I left it. I suppose someone saw me reading the book and decided to leave it as a gift? I don't know, but I do know this is one of the best books I've ever read. I can tell the author must have done a lot of research to come up with a gem like this, and on top of that being an incredible story teller.
This was definitely a well-researched book and Amor Towles couldn't have told the story any better. I was very surprised I liked it as much as I did because I'm usually not into "literary" novels much. Strange how you ran into the book, but I'm glad you finished it and enjoyed it as much as I did!
I loved everything about this book. It's on my list of favorites, and I will be looking for it every time I'm used book shopping so I can give copies away to friends
What a fabulous review, I wanted to read this book before, but now I can’t wait due to your enthusiastic review very well spoken without spoilers, thank you,,

That's pretty cool. I guess that's a popular area to film Russian settings.
