Hi Dan and Bailey. Bailey was excited about getting that fuel discount and let us know! Beautiful to see open roads before the miserable snow and wind hits that part of the country. Stay safe.
Yepper Dan !!! You aren't scraping those drive tires off to 1 side anymore & your fuel mileage shows it ,so the cost to align & rebush the drive axles was well worth it !!! When you get "NEW" drive tires, just might gain some more on mileage too !! 🙂🙂😉😉👍👍👍👍👍
North Carolina, North Dakota, Wyoming...Montana...it gets confusing sometimes. 🤔 Glad you were able to save on Diesel fuel...it sure helps. ⛽ You and Bailey stay safe...and warm out there. 🙂🐕
Great to watch your travels. A no nonsense sensible very experienced operator is a pleasure to witness. I delved in to your old vlogs this past week as I have only been following you since you purchased the current Pete, Including your 2 very 1st vlogs😊. Hay man you got a good run out of that 379. I trust you still have that, do you still have that 2013 complicated anti pollution streamline beast? That one didn’t even come close to looking after you like the 2003 model did.
I worked at a place that made precast and prestressed concrete for bridges and buildings. We used a Travl Lift like that to move around the pieces and to load trucks.
N. Dak is nasty during the winter. was in a white out, at a rest area just west of Bismark going east. think i missed a part in school bout which liquid water or oil, to keep warm. i thought it was oil and kept raising the tach. when morning came i found out it was the water, boy was that truck loud that night. lol
Safe travels. Stay warm & keep Miss Bailey ❤❤❤❤❤ warm. If you don’t post again before Thanksgiving, have a good one. Know you & other truckers would rather be @ home for the Holidays, but you gotta do what you need to do; much like our Soldiers, Sailors, & Airmen would rather be home also but can’t be while defending our Freedoms. Also hope you had a great Veterans Day. Give Miss Bailey a hug, smooches, & scratches behind both ears.
that bin site is a disgrace hopefully when the law suit is finalised they actually get a reputable company to come in and fix everything and bill the idiots who caused all the unnecessary harm to you guys its a worry whenever you have to go up there another great video
Hi dan,, you was saying how much your fuel was,, over here in the uk,, we pay, 9.94 dollars, for a gallon of fuel,, daylight robbery,, in pounds and pence, fuel prices are £8.00 a gallon...😢😢
Wow, I remember when a pound would cost us $2.50 Canadian. Petrol prices were always crazy, I was just a young lad back in 1973/74 stayed in Blantyre, just outside of Glasgow, Scotland, and I remember the prices. Today in Canada "and the prices have come down a lot", we're still paying $6 a gallon for gasoline and Diesel is a little more.
Try running 58 mph. I have a 2001 9900ix with isx Cummins getting over 8 mpg running stepdeck with four foot tall roofing loads. Running mi Ohio in il. Mostly flat country. Truck has 1,835,000 miles. Bought new. Take care. Good run Dan.
If you run 90, to 212 back across towards broadus/ belle forche/ sturgis I'm jealous. I love that route. I'm off the truck for a week or so to deer hunt in Pa/NY but still need to keep up with your travels. Great job. Safe travels.
Me & the Mrs have a motorhome & we flat tow a Jeep. We are always respectful & we always park way way way in the back of a restaurant or store lot. And every so often, even tho we are WAY in the back, we'll come back to the rig & some hole will have not only parked way in the back with us, BUT, across our front. Its a msg. They dont like us parking across the lanes. Well, we were WAY in the back far from anyone. He had to go out of his way to show us his displeasure. Whats it to him? We wernt in his way. What a jerk. Flat towing we cant back up. We have to unhitch, back the Jeep, then the MH, re hitch & go. It takes all of our self control to keep from leaving OUR displeasure along the side of his car. People are jerks. !
Hello Dan been warching your channel, with your first Pete and then your 2013 i think it is. Now your big rig you have. Do you still have your other two trucks.
I see a lot of trucks with those Pogo stick lights on their front bumpers. But I hardly ever see any of them working. Do you think you'd ever hook him up to work?
Hi Dan; new to the channel. How long is your wheelbase and what kind of power do you have in your truck? Give Bailey a hug and good luck on the drop.. "Overtime", retired
Hey Dan, love the vidjas. Just wondering if you worry about fuel theft while you sleep? When I was OTR I would wait to fuel in the morning before I left so thieves wouldn't get much if they tried and I was a company driver. You purchasing your own fuel I would think you'd be worried about that.
But Dan works on his truck and equipment. He's out walking Bailey. Dan edits his video's and each one can take 4 to 6 hrs to put together. Then taking care of themselves and laundry, housekeeping and it also gives him a chance to cook a meal that would take too long on a regular driving day. As much as he likes working, I'm sure he makes the most of his days off.
You are right. I really don’t have a lot of time to just lay around. If I’m not fixing the truck or editing a video I’m doing paperwork. Thanks for watching
@@lawrencehaugen8894 Assuming Dan hasn't changed it. Dan had one rear tank isolated to only feed his generator. Another rear tank he had empty and isolated as well, so he was only using the front two tanks for the truck. From what I remember, he was trying to figure out how much fuel his generator was burning, and he was leaving one tank empty because he really didn't need it and it cost money to haul that extra fuel around.
Hi Dan thanks for taking the time to bring us along.
Good to see an honest hard-working man out there providing for his family 😊
How do you know how honest Dan is?
Looks like Sidekick, Bailey, is doing Well. 👍🙏
Hi dan, 44 years over the road, 70 years old, really enjoy yor vids
I was a big Raven, Benson trailer fan but seeing this Dorsey in action, it appears to be among the best w/o paying the most
The machine that loaded that was awesome.
Stay safe brother from the imperial county California 👍👍🇺🇲
No non-sense vids. Appreciate the content, Dan.
Love the ride-a-long Dan, thanks and be safe!
Your the best Dan and Bailey too !!
Gm Dan and Bailey have a great Thursday!!!!!
Lol, love the putz or putzing. Use it a lot when I'm on the road.😂
You bet the alignment helps your fuel mileage. Trucks runnin nice and straight down the road. Makes a big difference.
The Favorite Cologne To Most Truck Drivers Is Dezel II
Damn, that is a pretty slick way to to load and RTU
Safe travels thanks enjoyed watching!
Thanks Dan for taking us with you! 🫡
Hi Dan. That's some gourgous country out there. Thanks for showing it, hope to see it myself oneday.

Safe Travels Dan hopefully the loads will be good in the next few months.

Very interesting piece of equipment that loaded the A/C unit. Never seen one before. Enjoyed the video THX and safe travels to you & Bailey 🙏
lots of big marinas have them hoisting boats in and out.
Its a carry lift. some are much larger than that to put very large boats in and out of the water.
Bigger versions are often used to move and load shipping containers.
I worked at a place that made precast and prestressed concrete for bridges and buildings. We used a Travl Lift like that to move around the pieces and to load trucks.
They use those at some of the high dollar boat places, they are cool.
COOL VIDEO DAN BE BLESSED STAY SAFE 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾
Man that great fuel mileage with CAT power. I loved my 3 caterpillar engines
The pump price for Diesel fuel on the east coast {NJ} is about 3.23 per gallon. Gas prices for cars is about 3.09.
Not sure when you’re filming this but talked to a buddy of mine in Shelby Montana today a lot of high winds be careful
His videos are always a few days, if not a week behind due to editing and him finding the time to produce, edit, and post it.
Thanks for a new video Dan.
I don;t know why but this video was something special for me. Thanks Dan for this one.
Great content! Thanks for posting.

Safe travels Dan and Bailey! Beautiful country.
Hope you "guys" are enjoying BIG SKY country. That rig used to load the big A/C unit made it look like child's play.
That place you load in faribault Minnesota has a place next to where I worked before I retired I always watched for your truck. Safe travels
Thanks again Dan
Safe travels 🌵🇬🇧👍
Super trucker Dan did I see you east bound on I 90 today I swear I did as I was westbound
Thanks for the video Dan. You and Bailey have safe travels!
Good morning and safe travels 👍
Great to see some new country. Thanks for the video. Safe travels, Dan!!!

Diesel here in northern WV is 4.049 a gallon. The oil companies raised gas prices 10 to 15 cents here in northern WV this morning.
Like they ALWAYZ do!!!!!
You want to live in the UK 🇬🇧 we’re paying up to £1 .56p a litre for diesel . Governments want diesel cars off the road so push the price up
Thanks Dan
Miles City Montana , better you than me !
Stay safe out there Dan!!.. Winters coming….
Hi Dan
Have a safe trip God bless from GA
Hi Dan, I have taken that road many times. There was a Fly J on the state line of north D and MT. I don't know about now.
Eazy load stay safe
You to Stay safe.

Thx for the vid.
No train today 😢
I've had a lot of places pick up with a forklift on each side, then pull out, and they lower it down.
It looked like cold cloudy MN and ND.
7.3 mpg,…… nice. Stay safe.
Diesel for $3.25 per gallon. Man you did good on that purchase.
That's a huge fuel discount for Mercer, didn't think Mercer went up that way too often?
First. What's up Dan? Be safe out there.
Dan
Never run # 2 diesel anywhere surrounding states of North Dakota from October to April.
Big savings on fuel ⛽️. Be safe👍

Hey Dan, whats that music storting at 05:00? Love it ❤
Dan are you considered an independent trucker but get most of your loads through a contract with Mercer.
He's going to drive past the Mall of America.
That is impressive fuel mileage for that truck, the other 2 Pete's I don't think you ever got that kinda mileage.
I see a lot of trucks with those Pogo stick lights on their front bumpers. But I hardly ever see any of them working. Do you think you'd ever hook him up to work?
Not running with the bull haulers then
Stayed safe Mr Dan 🙌🏼🙏🏼.. 7.3 and that’s on highway none stop and go!!.

Does Mercer have Hot Shot Trucking for pickup trucks !
,,, I've never seen discounts, like that at Pilot / Flying J ,,, ?
Hi Dan, can you talk about the rates at Mercer? I’m leased on with Boyd Bros trans but thinking about Mercer. Thx
All those keyboard warriors out there Dan, Hot Pockets and Moms basement are their life.
Keep it working Pal, 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸. In box me

I suspect Bailey would have some serious barking about letting that happen.
😢park 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Love the videos. Have a question/request I guess…polish those rims on the truck and trailer. Lol.
It must get boring sitting in a truck stop for two days. Just laying around in the truck all day

Do you see a difference with cruise control on as oppse to when its off on your mpg
What is the maximum pounds to keep the rear axle raised on 'the Dorsey?'
Mr Dan only has lift on the 1st axle on his trailer. He doesn't have an lift axles on the 2nd axle on trailer. It is BEST to have lift axle on both.
As far as weight goes,,depending on how it's loaded on when U can keep one axle lifted up driving on the highways.
@@scottycollins1829 Thanks for answering. I was just curious as to what the weight limit is before you can lift one of the rear axles.
@@UneekSaltyAF I'm sure Dan has mentioned 10,000 lbs as the limit.
Shows how badly the fuel companies are sticking it to too many of us.
$75 a barrel and there prices make you think it's$150.....
Where did you start this? I know you’re going to North Dakota .
I’m on 35 years of truck and I think you’re in KC somewhere up there
At the start of the video he was at the first rest area in Minnesota on I-35 just north of Iowa.
👍👍
Can American semi's raise one of the drive axles when running without a load or a light load?
Yes, sum trks have them
👍
How big are your tanks & how many do u have?
He has 4 tanks @ 150gals each
I believe each of the four tanks hold 100 gallons.
