I love Indiana Jones meets The Mummy influenced in this episode. RIP Gaspard Ulliel. I also loved the hints to Jake Lockley in this show since episode 1. The visuals in this series are marvelous. The fight scenes in this episode were phenomenal. Arthur Harrow gives me Baron Zemo, Erik Killmonger, Thanos, and Ikaris vibes. Arthur Harrow is an excellent and terrifying villain. Arthur Harrow is also the king of gaslighting. The music in the show is terrific. The imprisoning of Khonshu was a fantastic scene. The other Gods have no chill and their bias against Khonshu.
The man on the white horse in the red robe who was a collector in this episode passed away in January this year, his name is Gaspard Ulliel 🕊 I’m thinking that’s why we didn’t see him fall off his horse when Moonknight threw his weapon at him and instead, rode off into the mist 🙏🏾🕊
Nah that was supposed to be left ambiguous for his character’s return. His character’s villain name is midnight man and the crescent weapon hit him the exact time the clock hit midnight.

Jake lockey is making his way , its seems that he is a supressed alter and sightly tweaked in contrast how he is in the comics (but again steven is also different here). He is still resourceful and a "persuasive" guy in this version.

Anton buys artifacts and antiques from the black market. The Power Broker deals in selling everything from weapons to art. Anton seems to have bad history with Layla when Anton said he was ready to forgive her. So put two and two together. Anton, with Layla, was probably buying something from the Power Broker. Layla probably betrays Anton and steals whatever Anton was buying.
Doubt it. It's probably Jake Lockley. In the comics Marc was part of the team raiding the site but gets killed trying to stop the murder of the archeologists.
great job as usual . Layla actress reminds me of Rachel Weisz from the mummy 1 and 2. This series reminds me of Indiana Jones meet the Mummy . Oscar Issacs is doing a great job and Jake Lockley is the third personality.
I see some people still complaining and crying over some issues they have with the show ...I don't get it. The Acting alone in this show is simply Phenomenal 🤔
I think that Layla is going to be the “scarab”that guides Mark to find where Khonshu has been banished and incased in stone. This is all just guessing obviously, but I think that Layla’s father is one of Khonshu’s previous avatars and Khonshu has had his eye on Layla since she was born. That necklace she killed the guy with was given to her by her father but he got it while he was Khonshu’s avatar. This is all solely based off of when that woman said her father called her his little scarab lol
At the trial, Mark should have told them to check Harrow's pockets. You know he had the scarab on him. Of course, he would have tried to lie his way around that, but that MIGHT have worked. "You peeled off 10 layers of saran wrap." 😂
Just when I started to feel like the transitions between personalities was getting stale they brought even more fire. This show is consistent and the big Easter egg of Jake Lockley the apparent third personality was so dope. He's even more brutal than Specter. Marc will get his hands dirty but Jake just murks dudes. I just noticed, Marc (breaking through from Khonshu's puppetry) only claims LIAR once and then gives up, while Arthur is calling him out for having this and that in different names...because he knows it's true, so all he's got is "shut up!" or then he's the liar.
I would approve of the villain's view if it was slightly different. Here is what I would do. If I had the power to know if a person will do something evil in the future, but see that the person is currently good, then I'd rather just try and keep them out the evil path.

Amen! , the allegory of the stars getting Konshu banned like how the Church said the galaxy had earth at its center and was wrong, allowed a voice in the minds of believers to be silenced. This show is killer!
Not really ancient knowledge. One of the overblown claims people make, because it sounds cool. Not only do we now know how they built the pyramids back then, it would be far easier today. The main issue is, why would we wish to?
Khonshu was banished because he didn't want to abandon humanity. The other gods are so clueless and dumb, they took Harrow's word at face value. Yes, he's a jerk but the way he said "I remember every night" made me emotional. I like him. Love your reaction.
As evil as Harrow is, Khonshu is absolutely an abusive a*hole in the comics, even deciding that the best way to exact justice being to take over the world at one point. So while Harrow is absolutely wrong, I understand his point of view.
