Thank you for saving me from having to call the appliance repair guy! Our Affinity front loader (model FAFW3511KWO) actually has an opening in the bottom that gives you really easy access to the pump area and coin trap. No need to disassemble the washer, just tip it back enough to work on it. Found some rocks and COVID masks, among other things, clogging it up. Works like new now! Made my wife, who didn't believe I could do it, very happy. You're the man!
Wanted to say a huge thank you for the simple step-by-step instructions! This was my first repair since my husband passed and your video made it a success. Only had to call the neighbour to borrow a pair of vice grips and help with the clamps. Took awhile, but followed each step, struggled through those darn clamps and bagging the water, replayed the video steps backwards to put it all back together and she's working wonderfully again with no leaks! I didn't believe I could do it but with help of a friend and your great video, you saved me from having to call in a repairman. Thank you again!
Great video w great ideas. HOWEVER, i accidentally fouNd out it SO MUCH EAISER TO LAY THE UNIT ON ITS SIDE. There's access hole underneath and you right THERE where you need to be! I disconnected the main drain hose from DRUM(wide one), then the DRAIN HOSE itself, then white cannister (the DIFFICULT ONE). Twist, break the attaching white clip, making access easier to remove and reinstall tri hose connection. It took 30 mins for completion. I DID'NT HAVE TO REMOVE TOP OR REMOVE DOOR SEAL OR THE CONTROL BOARD OR REMOVE THE FRONT LOADING DOOR ASSEMBLY.... HOWEVER I AM VERY GRATEFUL TO YOU BECAUSE YOU HAD GREAT TECHNIQUE AND INFO!
I'm actually glad I didn't see this comment and went with the disassembly route. Unclamping the coin catcher was tricky even with the front off. Also I had a lot of water trapped in the machine which may have spilled onto electronics if I had it on the side.
Thanks for the video! The model I had was a little different but your instructions still were 95% applicable where it mattered. The main difference was that it wasn't one cable to disconnect, it was 5 or so and they were all tie wrapped together. Rather than disconnecting, I just rotated the front out of the way and ensured that the cables weren't pulled significantly during the work. There was a huge clog; twist ties and enough fabric to make a sock. Put it back together and all those puppies are barking nicely now!
I had a draining problem.. did not have a little service door to get to the filter. My washer is about 15 years old. The only trouble I had was to get the wire ring off. But ran your video back and fourth several times. The instructions were a great help, for the 68 year old man. I was a engineer a long time ago, .. Thanks again
Thank you man! Got this set (w/dryer) for a measly $275 from someone who had it in storage. Started up to clean and no drainage. As soon as I followed your directions and got to that pump, I could see why it was in storage. Bobby pins, a pound of wet material and probably $3 in change lol. Another tip for people doing this if you have the pump off you can reach up into the cavity of the washer. I managed to pull a sweater string out of there. Thanks so much man, don’t usually comment on these but you made my small investment well worth it!
Thank you so much. Affinity machines are terrible for accessing parts. Had to clean out Under the lint trap on the dryer and cursed the manufacturer for the most Un-user friendly construction. Same for accessing this coin trap and pump on the washer. Wow. Found a video that showed a machine with a removable panel, but needed to know how to take the whole machine apart. I absolutely had to have a second pair of hands for the squeeze clamps during reassembly and for getting the stretch ring around the door back on during reassembly. Your step by step instructions were perfect, and I am so grateful. And my machine works!
Thanks for the easy to follow instructions Caesar. My wife and I watched your video, and decided to give it a try. Two hours later, we were all back together again. The Frigidaire Affinity runs like new. We had no idea that the machine was nine years old. It had worked flawlessly up until it stopped draining. The coin trap was full of coins, pocket crap, and enough dog hair for a bird to make a new nest. Your video saved me the cost of a new pump and repair call. Thank you sir. After your instructional video, anyone with basic tools, patience, and fundamental mechanical knowledge, can handle this job. Tom from Connecticut.
Saved us a lot of money. Thank you! For others attempting this, make sure you tighten the metal ring at the top of the coin catcher very well otherwise it will leak. My model was a bit different than the one in the video.
Thanks so much for posting this video! I followed the steps as outlined, and was able to remove the blockage from my coin trap. Took a couple of hours, and the green springs were a bit of a hassle to get back in place. Overall, I would give this video a 10/10.
This video saved me a lot of money!!! Thank you for the play by play instructions. Removing that pump was very hard. I also had to go to the hardware store for some locking pliers.
Thanks, got the job done. There are a lot of steps, but most of them are pretty quick. I think the hardest part was reattaching the coin catcher. I'm glad I followed the disassembly steps instead of trying to get through the access hole. That would have been really tricky to get everything clamped back on correctly.
Thank you for the walkthrough! I just took apart my washer today and found a shower cap clogging the water pump. Easy fix and saved me so much money. Kudos to you, kind sir.
A million thanks to you for making this video!! Our washing machine stop draining 2 days ago while my wife was finishing up her last load. she had to go to the laundromat to complete it. Thanks to your vid I was able to fix it and save some $$$
Thanks so much for posting this video. Saved so much by taking the time to do it myself. Also, I was able to get to the hose clamp that’s turned backwards much easier be removing the back panel. Also, I did not have to remove the hose that’s connected to the tub bc I was able to remove the clog from the filter without disconnecting that hose.. I removed $6 in coins and a sock from the drain. Great video and thanks a lot.
Another satisfied customer. You probably saved me at least a couple hundos. The guts of my Affinity were slightly different as my pump was oriented a bit differently but everything was pretty spot on. The white plastic filter thingie in the rubber pump was absolutely disgusting. I found a chunk of the drivers license from the former owner of my house in there along with coins, sediment and what seemed like bits of towels. Cleaned that out, put everything back together (way harder than taking it apart) and I am back in business. Can't thank you enough!
Thankyou. Good directions, I replaced the hard to work with spring hose clamps with ratcheded ones that work with a screw turn. Easier and more controllable. I'd call this a 2 hr job for the first timer. A strong work light is helpful as it is with most everything.
Was trying to do laundry today and got that error code…… had no idea how much water would come out 😅 but I got that puppy back up and running in a couple hours! Thank you so much for this video!
Thank you so much for doing this video. I have 4 kiddos and needed help fixing it. Saved myself a lot of money doing it this way. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
This video is so helpful! Thank you so much. One thing that I did was take off those annoying, difficult pressure clamps and replace them with hose clamps. So much easier to reattach when cleaning coin catcher and housing.
I see most people took two hours to complete this job. I don't mean to brag but i did it in 1hr 58mins. 😊 Seriously though, thank you!! I don't know exactly how much money you saved us, but it was a lot!!
Thank You for posting this. While I’m pretty handy, I’ve never tried fixing a washing machine. You saved me from having to pay to have such a seemingly simple fix done. I followed your steps and totally fixed my draining problem.
Hi Caesar, I owe you a very big THANK YOU! This video is a perfect example on the power and good of the Internet. This morning my Affinity washer would not drain. I tried to look at the hoses to see if they were clogged and they were not. Then I found your fantastic video and watched it about 3 times and took a deep breath and took on the job. It was especially motivating when you said the repair might cost me $600. So I took my time and had your video playing back and forth. And the trap pump was clogged real good, it almost looked like your debris in this great video. So Thank You again Caesar for saving me $600 and showing me step by step how to do it. New Sub : )
Thank you so so much!!! I watched this video lastnight and was able to fix my washer. I was sweating like crazy lol..I took it as my workout. It took me about 2.5hrs from start to finish!
Perfect! Followed your video and fixed it! Suggestions for others' success: I used the bag idea to collect the water, but I set the bag inside a wide, flat tupperware (like for brownies), so that it was easy to pull out - no tearing, snagging, flopping or sloshing. I did not even try to mess with those horrid green clamps once I had them off. I bought hose clamps (the kind that tighten with a screw) to make my life easy from the start. $2 each and WELL worth the time saved! Thanks for the help. I would never have attempted this without your video.
Just acquired one of these. man what a pain. I have the previous generation of this washer (2007) and there is a small access panel down below on the front to access the drain filter (same system).
Thanks for posting this! I had the exact same problem and this walked me through the whole process. I had $3+ in coins, a shoulder pad, several hair ties and a bunch of dog hair in there. Works great now!
Wow, thank you so much for making this video! My pump failed too. I tested the original one, no ohms. I ordered a new one on Amazon for under $20. Tested it and it shows resistance. Installed. Works!!
Thank you so much for this video, you saved me $495. Here's a cool tip, while I was inside the belly of the beast (washing machine) I went ahead and replaced the 2 washer filter clams with 2 hose clamps (2 in). Might come in handy in case I need to perform future DIY surgeries.
Used a ratcheting screwdriver for the backward screw - it helped. Clamps were tough to align, but it's fixed!! Parts of three t-shirts, 78 cents in change, and enough dog hair to knit another dog. Thanks for the help!!
WORD TO THE WISE: If you are going to take the time to do this yourself spend the $30-40 for a new pump and replace it at the same time. 90% of the comments in here say this fixed the issue but if you’re an unfortunate sucker like me you will do all of the work and it still won’t work at which point you’ll have to take everything apart again to replace the pump.
I have this washer for over 10 years and I have no problem with it. I thought this brand is shitty brand when I bought it, but 10 years without problem for washer and dryer worthed every penny
Thanks very much for doing this video, very well explained and altough my affinity was slightly different ,your steps were the necessary to open and fix the clogged drain. You save me some money and right the washer is working great!! . No need to say the amount of trash we pulled out from the catcher.
This did the trick! My pump/trap placement was actually a bit easier to get to on my model. The only "oh crap" moment was when I plugged it back in and it came up and wouldnt spin. It threw an error for the door lock so I dismounted the control panel, unplugged and reseated the wires, then brought it up again. The water is flowing and the floor is dry. Thanks!
Wonderful, this fixed mine! Took us just about 2 hours. We used a wet/dry vac to control the water and minimize the stinky spillage. Somehow a dryer sheet ended up in the wash and sucked into the drain. Coat that in some hair and it had plugged solid.
I had to replace the pump on mine and i took off the front counterweight and it was so easy to get all the clamps on and off 5 - 11mm nuts and 5 min will save you a ton of headaches trying to get the clamps back on.
Thanks for saving the day! My coin catcher and impeller was clogged with bobby pins. I had a lot of difficulty removing the control panel because there is a hidden tab on the bottom side. In my case, the panel needs to be pulled UP before it can be pulled out.
Pretty sure this is what I’m dealing with! I’m going to attempt this on my own tomorrow. I will pick up some hose clamps as some commenters added for ease of putting the pump back on rather than using the green clamps. Thanks for this step by step!
Caesar Cinema I didn’t get to reply but I followed this step by step and got it done without any help! Definitely takes a couple hours, just getting to everything but thankfully I read through the comments to get new hose clamps because the green clam clamps were so painfully hard to use! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I didn’t have to buy a new washer. I found a whole undergarment in the coin trap. Once removed, the washer works just like new. Definitely proud of myself for a 5’2” girl. Haha.
Thank for your help. I live out in the middle of nowhere and service is hard to get and costs a small fortune for travel, at the best of times. This video did the job for me, and bonus, my older 2009 model Affinity was much easier to get at the clamps than the model shown. I still replaced them with hose clamps as suggested by "glen campbell". Took about 2 hours...as I am not the handiest guy around.
Thank you so much I was able to unclog it was so much stuck junk in there that wouldn't let the water through and I thought I had to get a new washer but you saved our life thank you so much sir we love you
Many thanks for the step by step instructions. Found clothing stuck in the coin trap and apparently the machine doesn’t like that. Machine is back to operating conditions!!
Yours plus the two other videos I watched before I opened my unit made me feel like I had already been in the machine by time I pulled the pump input boot out. And it was full of all kinds of string, lent, and even some change. Thanks for the help. Probably save me a couple more hours of work figuring it out.
I feel like we should send you a token of the money we saved doing this ourselves!!! After watching your video like 16 times, 3 hours later (yeah, we struggled a bit - not super handy) our washing machine works again! Thanks for your time and expertise. We are definitely feeling more full of our handyman possibility!
Thank you Elizabeth you’re so kind! I did this video to help ppl out and save them money I only ask for a like 👍🏻 in return lol. I’m glad you watched my video to fix your washer and thanks for commenting!
If you have a washer of this style, but not exactly this model, there's an easier way to get to the coin trap in some cases. Mine let me remove a large access panel in the back with just a few screws, and had an access opening in the bottom. That got me out of taking it apart. I could directly reach the trap.
@@DC-op8fs I know what you mean about version differences in these things. I have a car where changing a headlight is supposed to be about seven steps and take easily half an hour, but for whatever reason on mine, the process is to reach around a corner and unscrew the lamp and put in the new one, taking about 3 minutes.
This worked GREAT! Thank you so much. Directions was slow and easy to follow. I was freaking out thinking I was going to need to buy another washer. Again thank you. 🤩🤩
I got the courage and inspiration to do our Kenmore Elite (very similar) disassembling watching your video! Thank you, Even though ours wasn't that clogged, it had plenty of stuff in it that didn't belong in there, plus the smell (I should say stench) was pretty bad. I cleaned all of the components I could and it works much better and smoother. Just take a couple of pictures of the hoses before you take them out and make sure you put them back and tight them exactly the way they were or something may leak, just saying. Thanks again!
Great video! Remind me, next time I buy a damn washer to buy a model with the front access panel at the bottom to these common drain fixes! Many have them. Lol. Makes this a 60 minute job rather than 4 hours, and ya don't have to move it anywhere. Even if it costs $150 more it would be worth every penny.
Thank you for the video, Caesar! I have a slightly different model, but I was able to do everything from start to finish with this tutorial, and it's running like new after sealing it back up a second time. (On the first go around, I did not get the hose coin trap tub all the way onto the connection with the wash basin. What a mess!)
I ended up figuring this out on my own. God, those clamps!! I have hose clamps, I should have swapped them. Knowing that threaded hose clamps can cause damage if you over tighten, I chose not to use them. But at least I have them where they’re easier to reach now. Mine was nasty, totally packed and then some. I should have known when it took like 20 minutes or more longer to run a load than the timer suggested something was wrong. Mine had like 20 Bobby pins in it, $1 in change, a good amount of powdered metal (my family all works in the powdered metal industry), several pieces of jewelry, an old bra strap, and quite a bit of what I believe is old powdered laundry detergent. Most of that stuff is years old, some of the Bobby pins were half rusted away.
Thanks for posting such a thorough how to! I'm not super handy, but your easy to follow direction gave me the courage to try it out. The e41 code ended up being the door lock assembly, but I found some material, coins and even a dollar bill in the drain/coin collector that needed to be removed anyway.
Thanks for the info. I'll never get this type of washer again. I had a perfectly good LG front loader that had a easy access filter to get all my dog hair out in a snap. Inherited from my grandmother thay paid well over $1000 for the pair a few years ago. This washer is overall so much worse. More noise, not easy to work on. Doesn't clean as good and overall just annoying. The matched dryer I had to replace the eletric heating element twice. Makes good window units, never again with the affinity series washer/dryer
All washers should have a easy access pre screen filter with a drain tube. Disassembly of pretty much the entire washer is a terrible consumer design. I would think they want you to call a fridgair tech to drain your wallet. When my affinity series washer goes down hill. I'll happily just sell it to someone for pocket change as these are not even close to today's standards.
Thank you so much! Great directions. My drain pump was very clogged! Those clamps…thanks for the vice grip suggestion. Still a struggle, but eventually got there!
I found 61 cents, half a Popsicle stick and lots of fuzz in mine.. I found the large opening on the top the hardest to get back on. The hose clamp will save you a lot of fooling around. Thanks for the vid. :)
So I just cleaned out my pump, which was completely clogged, thanks for the great video! I do have question though, does that orange rubber gasket thing under the gray hose absolutely have to be there? Mine was deteriorated & I don't know where to get another one.
Vacuum out the tub and drain hose with a shop vac. That removes about 3/4 gallon or more of water. Then pull washer out about 2 feet, tilt it back against wall, stuff a large towel in the bottom-back and under the boot area and access coin catch boot by removing only the largest top retention ring. Fixed with clean-up in an hour and much easier. Usually the pump is not the issue. Tip: don't fill the washer with small items and large items, and don't stuff the small items to max either. The large items or overfilled washer tub will work small things like panties and small socks thru to the coin catch. That's what was in mine, clogging it...panties and a bikini top pad lol.
awesome man, this is exactly what i've been looking for. I think ours is a bit older but the layout is very similar. can't wait to tear into it and get that smelly shit out of there. it smells like sewage when it drains and im sick of smelling that.
Couple easy steps?!?! lol I love the optimism... I'm about to undertake this for my second time. Doing it right this time, going down into the basement ready for war. The first time I didn't look at any instructions, tried to lug the thing out and go at it from the back, it was a disaster!!
Thanks for the video. Great step by step and found out a $20 bill was blocking the drain. I guess that was my service call payment for kids and wife not checking their pockets before loading washer.lol.
Came here to learn how to clean the back filter but really got humbled with all these steps. Going back to sleep now💀
Wanted to say a huge thank you for the simple step-by-step instructions! This was my first repair since my husband passed and your video made it a success. ya thank you !!!

Wow, my son and I followed your step by step tutorial and fixed our 15 year old washer! Thank You so very much!
Thanks for sharing this! Helped this 65 year old woman fix her washer! Very easy to follow!
Nice. Congrats

Thanks so much for the kind words. I’m glad the video help you guys fix it and save some $$ 👍🏻
Saved us a lot of money.
Thanks Joe 🙏🏻 I appreciate the feedback
This video saved me a lot of money!!! Thank you for the play by play instructions. Removing that pump was very hard. I also had to go to the hardware store for some locking pliers.
Thanks for the comment and glad I was able to help.
Thanks, got the job done. There are a lot of steps, but most of them are pretty quick. I think the hardest part was reattaching the coin catcher. I'm glad I followed the disassembly steps instead of trying to get through the access hole. That would have been really tricky to get everything clamped back on correctly.
Great tutorial! This is the 3rd time I've have to reference your video to unblock my drain. Thank you from all DIY adventurers! Quite a life saver!
You’re so welcome Faith. Thanks for being a repeat customer lol.
Thank you for the walkthrough! I just took apart my washer today and found a shower cap clogging the water pump. Easy fix and saved me so much money. Kudos to you, kind sir.

Had code E21 on a Frigidaire washer. Followed this video and found some nasty surprises! Cleaned out the coin trap and now it's working good as new

Exact issue with my Frigidaire. You saved me a service call and hundreds of dollars. Thank you so much. Somehow a sock got in there.
Thank You for posting this. While I’m pretty handy, I’ve never tried fixing a washing machine. You saved me from having to pay to have such a seemingly simple fix done. I followed your steps and totally fixed my draining problem.

Just acquired one of these. man what a pain. I have the previous generation of this washer (2007) and there is a small access panel down below on the front to access the drain filter (same system).
Thank you! I found 2 socks, coins, and various small toys. Once removed the washer worked great!
Your welcome! That’s funny. How much money in coins did you find?
Dan Reinherz can’t you just take the back panel off? Do you have to remove the whole front to get to coin trap
Thank you so much for this video! My husband and I were able to unclog the drain ourselves. Every step was covered in the video.
Thanks so much for leaving a comment.
Thanks for posting this! I had the exact same problem and this walked me through the whole process. I had $3+ in coins, a shoulder pad, several hair ties and a bunch of dog hair in there. Works great now!

Nice. You’re welcome
@@CesarCinema great video I think I've got the problem .I wanna know how to test the original drain pump
Your video saved our washer. The drain was full of coins can tabs a comb and towel lint. Thank you
You've just saved my $1,500. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video, you saved me $495. Here's a cool tip, while I was inside the belly of the beast (washing machine) I went ahead and replaced the 2 washer filter clams with 2 hose clamps (2 in). Might come in handy in case I need to perform future DIY surgeries.
You’re welcome. Great tip! thanks for sharing and watching.
Used a ratcheting screwdriver for the backward screw - it helped. Clamps were tough to align, but it's fixed!! Parts of three t-shirts, 78 cents in change, and enough dog hair to knit another dog. Thanks for the help!!
+Doris Goble thanks for the tip. Haha the dog hair is no joke lol.
Thank you for making this video!! Saved me some money, and my wife from having to go to the laundry mat.
Thank you for leaving a comment and I’m glad you got it up and running again.
Thanks!
You’re welcome and thanks for sharing
Cesar, thanks so much for this. My money trap was totally blocked with fluff and dog hair, but a couple hours, it was fixed!! Thanks again.
Congrats on fixing it yourself. You’re welcome
Dude your a life saver, easy steps to follow. Thank you!!!
Pretty sure this is what I’m dealing with! I’m going to attempt this on my own tomorrow. I will pick up some hose clamps as some commenters added for ease of putting the pump back on rather than using the green clamps. Thanks for this step by step!
You’re welcome and good luck tomorrow I’m sure you will do great. Let us know how it goes
Haha.
Cool. Glad to hear it.
I’m glad my video helped and thanks for commenting
Thank you so much I was able to unclog it was so much stuck junk in there that wouldn't let the water through and I thought I had to get a new washer but you saved our life thank you so much sir we love you
No problem. I love you too
Hey boss I followed your directions and everything went smoothly. The exact problem with my washer THANK YOU so much
I’m glad everything worked out. Thanks for watching and commenting it means a lot.
B K how much does it cost to replace
Many thanks for the step by step instructions. Found clothing stuck in the coin trap and apparently the machine doesn’t like that. Machine is back to operating conditions!!
I’m glad you were able to fixing it 🦾
All I did was lift it up prop it upo and the cleanout is right underneath saves a lot of time
Just finished finally got the clamps on that by far was the toughest part of the whole job thanks for the great video
I glad you got the clamps on. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank-you for the video. This solved my issue. A little paper clip was stuck in the impeller, I believe it was stopping it from spinning.😃
You’re welcome
4 hrs later taking it off was the easy part thank you!!🙏🙏🙏
Yours plus the two other videos I watched before I opened my unit made me feel like I had already been in the machine by time I pulled the pump input boot out. And it was full of all kinds of string, lent, and even some change. Thanks for the help. Probably save me a couple more hours of work figuring it out.
Nice. I’m glad it worked out for you.
Fixed my washer today with this video. Thank you so much!
No problem. Thanks for watching Pedro.
Glad I came across this video, you saved me a lot of grief. You made this an easy fix for me, thank you!
No problem Jacob.
Omg, thank you so much for this video. This was easy to follow and fixed my draining issue, you rock!!!
If you have a washer of this style, but not exactly this model, there's an easier way to get to the coin trap in some cases. Mine let me remove a large access panel in the back with just a few screws, and had an access opening in the bottom. That got me out of taking it apart. I could directly reach the trap.
I have one an all I have to do is lean it back against the wall, no screws or nothing to get to the filter.
Wow ty for this video it was explained very well I'm so happy going to do laundry
You’re welcome.
Thank you for this video saved me money and taught me patience and endurance I did it all by myself!
Nice.
Thanks for the video! It saved us from buying a new washer/dryer set!
Nice. Glad to help.
This worked GREAT! Thank you so much. Directions was slow and easy to follow. I was freaking out thinking I was going to need to buy another washer. Again thank you. 🤩🤩
+Fred Taylor I’m glad you liked the instructions. Thanks for watching.
No problem. I’m glad you enjoyed and found my video helpful.
I just fixed our washer today thank you so much, this video was excellent
Thank you for the video, Caesar! I have a slightly different model, but I was able to do everything from start to finish with this tutorial, and it's running like new after sealing it back up a second time. (On the first go around, I did not get the hose coin trap tub all the way onto the connection with the wash basin. What a mess!)
Great job with the video, I was able to fix my washer and get us back up and running.
Nice. I’m glad my video helped you Bryan.
Glad my video helped you and your comment might help someone with the same problem. Thanks for your input!
You’re welcome
All washers should have a easy access pre screen filter with a drain tube. Disassembly of pretty much the entire washer is a terrible consumer design. I would think they want you to call a fridgair tech to drain your wallet. When my affinity series washer goes down hill. I'll happily just sell it to someone for pocket change as these are not even close to today's standards.
Thank you so much! Great directions. My drain pump was very clogged! Those clamps…thanks for the vice grip suggestion. Still a struggle, but eventually got there!
Perfect. I’m glad my video was able to help you.
I found 61 cents, half a Popsicle stick and lots of fuzz in mine.. I found the large opening on the top the hardest to get back on. The hose clamp will save you a lot of fooling around. Thanks for the vid. :)
Thanks for sharing. Lol it’s funny to hear all the stuff people are finding in there.
Amazing video !Thank you so much for posting this! Saved us a butt load of money fixing it ourselves with your instructions! :)
Right on man. Helped me get our washer back in working order. Cheers
Thank you for the video. It makes the process way easier. I totally agree those green clamps are the worst.
Thanks. I know who invented those?
So I just cleaned out my pump, which was completely clogged, thanks for the great video! I do have question though, does that orange rubber gasket thing under the gray hose absolutely have to be there? Mine was deteriorated & I don't know where to get another one.
Thank you so much! I was able to fix my washer and save my mother about $800
That’s great news Skylar!! That’s for sharing and watching the video.
Thank you so much for this!! I definitely think reassembly was the hardest part
Great video..what was the circular pad that was laid out next to the gunk. I found the same thing in my pump tube?
Thank you for you through and well made video ♡ saved my family from going to the laundry mat ♡
You’re welcome Minda
I didn’t have any idea about this Sr. God bless you. Thank you very much for the video and your time. (My wife is happy). I did it!!!.
Nice. I’m glad I was able to help
thanks Caesar. Your video encouraged me to try and it worked and also found money.
Nice. Congrats
awesome man, this is exactly what i've been looking for. I think ours is a bit older but the layout is very similar. can't wait to tear into it and get that smelly shit out of there. it smells like sewage when it drains and im sick of smelling that.
Very helpful video! Always wondered how a person would get at those parts.
Couple easy steps?!?! lol I love the optimism... I'm about to undertake this for my second time. Doing it right this time, going down into the basement ready for war. The first time I didn't look at any instructions, tried to lug the thing out and go at it from the back, it was a disaster!!
Good luck this time. Let us know how it goes.
Changed pump but never cleaned coin catch. Now it leaking again 😫. Great video 👍
Thanks
Your video was key to fixing my washing machine. Thanks man!
No problem and glad I can help.
Found a beer cap, $3.61 in change and a pair of small underwear. Thank you for the video
Haha nice. Not only did you fix your own washer for free you made some money out of it lol.
Hahaha
Thanks for the video. Great step by step and found out a $20 bill was blocking the drain. I guess that was my service call payment for kids and wife not checking their pockets before loading washer.lol.
Lol. You’re welcome
Great video
What is the thing the pump connects to with the wires?
