Glad you reacted to II doing his thing, but definitely do the full studio version of this song as well, they definitely cut out the entire beginning of the song. Killer reaction as always, bro! Definitely becoming one of my favorite reaction channels for sure.
The last song on the "Take Me Back to Eden" album called "Euclid" circles back and incorporates the first song off their album "Sundowning" called "The Night Does Not Belong to God" such creative songwriting!
This!! It’s a whole journey and the albums are a trilogy. If he loves the Chokehold call back, listening to them in order and then realizing they’re all connected will blow his mind.
Man you'll love the summoning drum play thru! Theirs a solo in it that isn't in the studio version. Also the summoning playthru isn't just a clip from the long drumio set. It's more or less a stand alone upload. ❤
The drumeo is actually an hour long video of multiple songs that's why it seems like your missing stuff. Watch the entire drumeo as they talk to him and all. It was the first time a member spoke to anyone
😂😂😂 omg another one! ❤❤❤ this was the first song of theirs I heard. Please listen to studio version!!! I love you are getting to see how great the drummer is but there is so many more levels to album version. ❤❤❤
The summoning drumeo video is amazing. The take me back to eden is from the hour long video he did with them a while ago. Also this video just starts where the drums start in the song. So there a good chunk you missed
Take Me Back To Eden as an album is a really good blend of genres. There’s some more pop style songs on the album. The only “heavy” song left on the album is Vore. The previous album is also really good. My favorites are Alkaline and The Offering.
Listen to Hypnosis first, then react to the drumio playthrough that they did for it. You really get to see how loose but in control II is on yhe drums.
Drumeo “The Summoning” where ii adds what he does in live performances by adding a deum solo during the transitional phase of the song. Definitely worth seeing his arms move like the flash. Thanks for the good times
As a 'somewhat' drummer myself, I can assure you that he hasn't played anything that I'd exactly call easy. Lol. What we're experiencing when we're watching someone like II perform their craft is the extreme confidence in movement of an absolutely incredibly talented pro. In fact, it's one of my favorite things ever to watch the hands of a true master at work because they make truly amazing things look so second-nature.
From the Sleep Token channel: Its like that Hypnosis From Drumeo: The whole hour long video is worth it but definitely these: The Summoning Vore The Apparition Alkaline Higher
Chokehold was the beginning of the relationship, this is the 2nd to last song, we are in the loss and desire phase of the relationship. My personal belief, only.
(Long story short, do them in order) Okay we’re going for it lol. As a fisch fan and a sleep token fan I’ll drop some recommendations. It’s a long journey tho. Most people listened to Take me back to Eden first, and then started their early stuff from the top. I happened to start from the top years ago, but take me back to Eden and then everything else seems to be the most fun. The first EP titled “One” is first, then the EP titled “Two” (their best music imo) comes next. Then the albums start, with Sundowning which is incredible. And then This Place Will Become Your Tomb, follow by take me back to Eden. They have singles, my favorite being Jaws. In that order, you’ll get the thousands of nuanced references he slides into the hidden pockets of their stuff. Also you’ll be able to piece together what he’s really talking about, the self destructive relationship with the goddess “Sleep”. It’s a wild ride dude and I’m glad you found them.
Be sure to check out Ascensionism! And if you can, listen to Rain, Take Me Back To Eden and Euclid altogether, it might be the most perfect last 3 songs of any album ever!
This song is next to last on the album. Whoever said it, I agree that you should listen to this album in order. You've already done Chokehold and The Summoning which are the first 2 songs of the album. The next song is Granite. Pick up from there and go in order to the end. This song, Take Me Back To Eden, is the next to last song on the album. The lyricism in this album (and all Sleep Token songs back to the EPs) is extremely deep.
There's a song called Vore... Lots of references to being eaten throughout their discography. Among many, many other recurring themes. Should comb through every song they've got 😉
I adore the drumeo videos with ii, but you definitely lose a tiny bit of their mixing masterpiece for sure. That being said, his kit is tuned to absolute perfection. The snare, the china, the splashes. Just…. *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
Should watch some of their live performances. Its kind of a toss up if Vessel is gonna be serious, or act like a total goober while on stage. Its pretty greatm they also sound great. I think while recording, Vessel does rhe screams, but live either III or IV does the screams. Cant remember who.
Oh man, This is not even one of the best videos of his playing . I can imagine your reaction when u see him playing the "vore" "alkaline" or "hypnosys"😅 but first you should listen to the studio version . Because drum videos usually cut the beginning of the song ,if there is no drum part. And also on this same channel "drumeo" there is a full interview with ii, where he shared his approach to playing drums, and music in general, and also played about 10 songs of the band (all in the same format as you just watched). Btv is the first video interview with any of the members sleep token.
The first minute or so of the song doesn't have any percussion sections, so that's why this playthrough seems to jump into the middle of the song. You should definitely check out the full song because you're missing the buildup.
Great song, studio version is certainly better sounding as the mix isn’t dedicated to the drums. BUT if you want to see a solid song with a drum play through of an enteric drummer check out “Matt Halpern Periphery 22 Faces”
You picked up on two things not many do first listen. The Chokehold callback for sure, but you picked up on something almost no one gets first time. "Grow back your sharpest teeth, you know my desire" is about being consumed by your passion (among other things) and is a direct callback to their song The Offering. *Take a bite.*
Bro..can't believe someone talked you into this without hearing the studio version. Save the drumeo stuff for later...you are missing parts of the song
Yeah, honestly you should be doing the whole album in order.. it is a full journey.. but on top of that you probably should be doing the whole song before the drum videos.. the drum vids are awesome, but you’re not shears going to get the full song out get it without vocal etc etc.. this one you missed the full intro
Glad you reacted to II doing his thing, but definitely do the full studio version of this song as well, they definitely cut out the entire beginning of the song. Killer reaction as always, bro! Definitely becoming one of my favorite reaction channels for sure.
AYYYYY YOU CAUGHT THE CHOKEHOLD CALLBACK 😅 I love to see it! ✨️
The last song on the "Take Me Back to Eden" album called "Euclid" circles back and incorporates the first song off their album "Sundowning" called "The Night Does Not Belong to God" such creative songwriting!
You gotta do JAWS. II is an absolute animal. As a drummer I can't stop listening to thos band.
I love love love seeing sleep token reactions pop up! LET'S WORSHIP ❤
THE APPARITION PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEEEE
I second this!❤
I 3rd that 😁
Fish, even if you go allllll the wayyyyyyy back to the EPs you won’t be disappointed 🙌🙌🙌
Your neck got to be hurtin after that final break down! 😄 These Drumoe videos of ll is like watching a great artist painting a masterpiece! 😮👏🏼👏🏼
Feel sorry that you didnt get the original video. Soo many details was lost. Hope you enjoyed anyway. :)
More sleep token reactions please!!! So great to see you react to them!
The drumeo is actually an hour long video of multiple songs that's why it seems like your missing stuff. Watch the entire drumeo as they talk to him and all. It was the first time a member spoke to anyone
The whole song is definitely worth another reaction. Also granite
DUDE!!! Listen, II is the BEST drummer ever!! Hrs straight 🔥!!
Listen to the tracks first then maybe to II's playthroughs. Keep em coming! Love your reactions to ST 🤘
Good call
Here for the sleep token journey! Worship 🙏
seeing them live at red rocks i just cried the whole time... unreal
The beginning is the best part.
My favorite Sleep Token songs for drumming are The Offering and God's. Worship TWO!!! And obviously Sleep Token!!! So great I can't pick a favorite!
Start from the very beginning. You will enjoy the journey
The Offering
Their drummer has full sessions on drumeo. The summoning and an exposee of some of his favorite songs to play. That’s worth a peep
Sleep Token, where every song sounds differnet, but so many motifs and callbacks bring it all together
Take Me Back To Eden as an album is a really good blend of genres. There’s some more pop style songs on the album. The only “heavy” song left on the album is Vore. The previous album is also really good. My favorites are Alkaline and The Offering.
This dude's pocket is as deep as the Mariana Trench. Great job on the video, sir. Gained you a new sub! 😁
What an awesome song - and it's always again great to see your expression 😆. Nice reaction 👍
Yes!!!!! Keep going!!
Yes sir. These dudes and Ren are my fix. I knew you would love them.
Listen to Hypnosis first, then react to the drumio playthrough that they did for it. You really get to see how loose but in control II is on yhe drums.
The full song is worth listening to. The Offering has become my favorite out of all of them.
Drumeo “The Summoning” where ii adds what he does in live performances by adding a deum solo during the transitional phase of the song. Definitely worth seeing his arms move like the flash. Thanks for the good times
You never know which direction a Sleep Token song is going to go. They really keep you on your toes. It’s magical.
It starts like half way through you gotta react to the whole songs and his hour long drumeo you'll love it!
As a 'somewhat' drummer myself, I can assure you that he hasn't played anything that I'd exactly call easy. Lol. What we're experiencing when we're watching someone like II perform their craft is the extreme confidence in movement of an absolutely incredibly talented pro. also the amount of callbacks Vessel has thrown into all the music is insane
Fisch with another home run 🤌🏼
Yeahhh, I would stick to doing Drumeo vids after the originals. The songs are complete experiences and should definitely be done on their own first.
Greeat reaction! And yes, the beginning of song was left off. Beginning is sounds of Eden and Vessel singing❤
From the Sleep Token channel:
Its like that
Hypnosis
From Drumeo: The whole hour long video is worth it but definitely these:
The Summoning
Vore
The Apparition
Alkaline
Higher
Chokehold was the beginning of the relationship, this is the 2nd to last song, we are in the loss and desire phase of the relationship. My personal belief, only.
Please do all their stuff!
Believe it or not Vessel and II are fans of the R&B and hip-hop scene they have in the UK and you can hear it in their music style
This is the second to last song on the album btw
You should do the video of ii playing The Summoning. I love it
Go back to the start of the journey and start with EP One 🙏🤩
(Long story short, do them in order)
Okay we’re going for it lol. As a fisch fan and a sleep token fan I’ll drop some recommendations. It’s a long journey tho.

Yes sir. These dudes and Ren are my fix. I knew you would love them. Yes this is not the entire song. You need to check out the regular version.
wanna see how II actually plays drums, check out II drumeo chokehold playthrough. It will blow your mind!
ii is so fucking talented
Gotta watch drumeo The summoning. II is insane!
Be sure to check out Ascensionism! And if you can, listen to Rain, Take Me Back To Eden and Euclid altogether, it might be the most perfect last 3 songs of any album ever!
2 has some other drum videos with no vocals and they are beautiful
you need to watch the summoning offering from drumeo for his solo
This one is great but there are other ones where he goes off!!
This song is next to last on the album. Whoever said it, I agree that you should listen to this album in order. You can tell Vessel is a masochist lmao
@@13kellyr lmao caught that after the One EP
The Apparition
Wowwwww
I adore the drumeo videos with ii, but you definitely lose a tiny bit of their mixing masterpiece for sure. That being said, his kit is tuned to absolute perfection. The snare, the china, the splashes. Just…. *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

You should react/listen to any Zach top or Braxton Keith song!!
high water next please 🙌🏻
🙌🙌
Atlantic by sleep token!!

Koe Wetzel twister
The reason it sounds like you’ve missed something is because the first part doesn’t have any drumming in it and you’d be sat watching II do nothing. 😊
React to high water bro for real you will love it. Like this comment true ST fans!
You picked up on two things not many do first listen. The Chokehold callback for sure, but you picked up on something almost no one gets first time. ya they cute out the first 2 minutes of the song bc there aren't any drums
You missed the first 2 minutes of the song because of watching that video.
Wooops
just watch the studio version lol it happens 🙂
Not the full song. This would have been good to review after seeing the full original. This cut out some stuff.
You missed the beginning.
Yeah because it's edited for time. The intro doesn't have a drum part
missing limbs!
Higher and Hypnosis are far more entertaining drum videos.
Def wrong version to react to lol
Yeah they cut off like the first 2 minutes of the song. Missed all the buildup.
The beginning of the song has no drums.
You should check Will Ramos’s Cover of Chokehold.
Will is the lead singer of the deathcore band Lorna Shore.
