You need to make a video to help cats too. Since they are also using cbd oil too. Please include cats with any topic concerning ‘pets’ since they are the most popular pet in our country! That says something for the love of cats. ❤️
Our shih-tzu has Cushings Disease and peritonitis. Can't afford the vet's high cost meds and constant blood tests for the next 2 to 3 yrs of his life (if we are lucky). I've read CBD will help. He's 8 1/2 yrs old and wonder how to buy it for him and how much to try, if it's even a good idea. He doesn't suffer from anxiety, just muscle weakness, hair loss, etc.
Cushing's disease is effectively managed with a full-spectrum hemp extract like our Heal tincture. CBD can help by moderating the release of hormones like cortisol, which cause the symptoms associated with Cushing's. CBD and the other cannabinoids in a full-spectrum hemp extract have also been shown to have anti-tumor properties, which gives them the potential to reduce the size and inhibit growth of tumors on the pituitary and/or adrenal glands. Primary benefits of using CBD for Cushing’s disease in dogs: Targeting the tumors: Cancer cells do not die on their own; continuously spreading unless we do something to stop them. CBD was found to trigger apoptosis (natural cell death) in cancer cells. CBD also reduces the growth of tumors by preventing the formation of blood vessels that feed the tumor. Repairing hormonal imbalances: CBD works with the body’s endocannabinoid system to bring the body back to balance. This includes hormonal imbalances like the cortisol imbalance from the adrenal or pituitary glands. Relieving the symptoms: As CBD works with the endocannabinoid system to bring the body back to a balanced state, symptoms will naturally improve. We recommend our HEAL tincture for Cushing's disease. Based on research and our experience, we recommend starting with 35-50 mg daily for Cushing’s in dogs (37mg = 1 full dropper of the Heal). Within that range, we recommend you start low and adjust based on your pet’s response to determine your optimal dose. Be prepared to experiment with the dose during the first couple weeks of use as you figure out what works best for your pup. Consistency is super important! Split the full daily dose into 2-3 doses throughout the day. For the fastest and best absorption, lift the lip and apply the dosage directly onto the gums. This is the most direct way into the bloodstream. You can also add it to food, but it can take significantly longer to reach the bloodstream. If Cushing’s disease in your dog has also caused skin growths, you can apply REMEDY salve directly to the growth twice a day. Because dogs have endocannabinoid receptors in all three layers of their skin, topical CBD salves are extremely effective. @@fr33bird.33 When he started getting bloody tumors that wouldn't heal, it seemed time to let him go peacefully at the vet's. Heartbreaking. He's been gone over a year and we never had a chance to try this on him. He was a shih-tzu and Pekingese mix and we always had to keep the hair trimmed away from his eyes. He snored and never seemed healthy. Poor combination of breeds. We miss him terribly and wish we'd had him longer. Wanted to find another shih-tzu, but they are so expensive. Instead we have a big dog and miss our little easy-to-care-for fellow. This new puppy will probably outlive us and his energy level may be my undoing. How I wish we had our Skoshi back, healthy and happy.
Based on our experience, we have seen success with 35-50 mg of our HEAL Full Spectrum CBD tincture daily. Break the daily dosage into several doses throughout the day (microdosing) for best absorption and to maintain it in the bloodstream. CBD reaches a peak at 2 hours and is absent around 6 hours. Microdosing helps maintain the CBD in the bloodstream, which aids in the prevention of seizures. Additionally, CBD can also be utilized while your dog is experiencing a seizure.
Very informative! I want to start my 16lb Chihuahua on CBD for his reactivity, anxiety and aggression. I am confused about dosages, not sure of his behavioural problem would require more or less mgs than a dog with a different problem, like pain. Any insights on this? Plan was to start him with a 2.8mg dose twice a day.
Sensitivity to a full spectrum hemp extract ranges greatly with little correlation to weight and size, so the best way to determine the right dose is to focus on each animal's unique condition. This includes factors such as their endocannabinoid system, age, metabolism, disease process, and more. Until you start your pet on a full spectrum hemp extract regimen, there is no way to be sure exactly how they will react. Sensitivity ranges greatly between dogs and can even change over time based on age or chronic illness. That’s why we recommend a trial-and-error method to determine the optimal dose for your pet. Start low and go slow as you increase dosage and find a stable regimen, monitoring your pet’s response each step of the way.

Please help!!!! MY mini schnauzer no longer walks, knuckled on front legs then stopped walking. Vets say neurological problem, he's 14,5 years old. He's on metacam and paracetamol (we are in uk). Hes very thirsty and wees a lot, im worried about his liver kidney function. Shall i give up the meds ans try CBD??? Thanks. The vets here are useless.
I give CBD in his food right now but I will start applying it in his gums. Can I drop the CBD on my thumb and rub it in his gums? No glass in mouth of pets? Also, how long after this do I give him some fatty food? Thinking of giving him a high fat snack since his raw food diet isn’t to high in fat.
Hi there! You absolutely can put it on your thumb then apply it to your dog's gums. We also have plastic oral syringes on the site, or you could buy a large pack of them for at home. The CBD is already in a carrier oil, so you don't technically need to give it with food, for the fat absorption, but you can if you'd like. And rewarding with a treat sounds like a perfect routine so your dog looks forward to his dosing.

Yes as long as they eat it, but holding their scruff on the back of their neck gentally, and put it on their gums. Or they even absorb it through out their ears, NEVER PUT LIQUID INSIDE ANY PETS EARS,you put few drops on your fingers and rub it on where their ears are, NOT WHERE THE FUR IS,but behind It, I would watch more videos if I were you and more Reese’s and make sure the cbd you have is safe
I bought a plastic dropper and my dog literally loves the drops she licks them. She sticks her tongue out I don't need to put it on her food. CBDs the best thing that happened to my dog .She's a11 year old Staffordshire & now has no more anxiety🙏🏼🙌 she's finally calm down thank you so much CBD👍👏👏

Dosing for cats is the same way you'd dose dogs. Start low and go slow to find your cats optimal dose.
