I took delivery of my Turbo e-Hybrid Cayenne Coupe approx 4 weeks ago here in Australia - fully optioned up to try and create a more ‘luxury feel’. Have travelled almost 4,000 klms across Australia since buying - loving it immensely, and agree with all of your comments. Anyone buying a Cayenne, even a Base Model; strongly suggest pay extra for the Air Suspension and Rear Wheel Steer - adds immensely to the Handling enjoyment!!
This is such an awsome SUV, I have forever said the Urus is the only big SUV that I like. But seeing this Cayenne, it's very hard to resist to that interior, styling, etc. And ALL of that space! You even fitted your whole bike (like on the Urus S living with video) You alone are the reason why my heart is starting to warm towards SUVs Miles.
I treated myself to a Cayenne Turbo E Hybrid as a birthday gift a few weeks ago, and immensely enjoy it. Great video. Only have less than 1000 miles on it, and look forward to some great road trips.
I always love when you discuss the car with someone else aswell. I love your videos living with cars, best content on RUclips, cant believe how many subscribers you have now, you deserve it man
I own a ‘22 BMW x5 45e (the plug-in hybrid version). The seamless handoff between electric power and gas is amazing. Glad to see its there on the Porsche. Very strongly considering going the Cayenne route when I’m ready to replace the Bimmer.
We have a '22 Turbo S e-hybrid. It's fantastic and can easily do 1000 miles on a single tank averaging 60mpg if you do it right. These are phenomenal vehicles. It's also insane fast, smells good, looks good, comfortable for long trips - there's nothing it can't do.
You should invite your mother more often for car reviews! Love her knowledge about cars and as I german I am really proud of her saying "Porsche" correctly and not butchering it like most Americans do!
Mom’s as interesting and cool as Mobile Mama. Nice! Porsche option policy drives me nuts, and that’s coming from a multiple Porsches owner. Close to $200k and u don’t get cooled seats? And plastic cheap piano black? Great video again!
Miles I’m a new subscriber and let me just say I love watching your videos. The horn beep and the “drive betta” has me in tears. I’m currently on the hunt for a new vehicle and I’ve been watching so many of your videos. Glad I landed on your page! Also yessss why can’t the seat lower… I hate that I felt like my knees were too high up when I test drove the cayenne. 😣 While I’m here let me ask…are you choosing the BMW x6 m60i or the cayenne e hybrid?
I went with a 2025 Cayenne GTS over the Turbo E-Hybrid. Fear of high repair costs on the E-Hybrid swayed my decision...and I still have a healthy fear of maintenance/repair for the GTS. I also like the traditional simplicity of one fuel source. Managing gas and plugging in to recharge..that's a life complication :)
@@MilesPerHr : ya, tough to beat Porsche steering in their sports cars and suv's , just that other SUVs from M and Amg are good enough/have nicer interiors where as the amg /m sport cars are no where as good as Porscha sports cars handling dynamics

I own a 2022 bmw 530e and its works like this Porsche. Hybrid styem is great because the ev motor isnt by itself but instead is paired to the same zf 8 speed transmission as the engine. It does have less range tho 24 mile estimated but i have gotten 30 miles before.
I've only just found your channel, great videos! I wanted to ask about the experience you mentioned when the car is slowing down? I have a Panamera 4 ehybrid, sometimes when I slow down to stop, changes from gear 3 to 1 feel a bit 'jerky', you can really feel the gear change. Does this sound like what you were describing?
Possibly just me, but thinking that there's a better way of communicating the relative size of cars reviewed other than how much of your drive they take up and whether the stroller can get through. 🙂
Would love a quick clip at the end of your videos of you putting the golf clubs in the car to see how they fit, i.e. can they fit width wise, do they have to be at an angle etc. Even if you know they'll fit its nice to see what room is left etc.
@MilesPerHr Yeah it was nice to see that. Personally I'd like it for most of the reviews. Doesn't need to be a big drawn out thing, heck even a still picture after showing the trunk space would suffice. I'm thinking about golf club space the way parents are thinking about tethers and car seats. But maybe just a me thing.
I always wonder if having a hybrid system that triggers the petrol engine only when you accelerate hard is even good in the long term for the engine, as it is usually recommended to warm up the engine for a while before going all the way up with the revs. Seems like a real case scenario of use that you go from your house on EV, then reach the highway, and the engine all cold suddenly goes 5k revs...
@@Rogershijianhui My budget will allow me to look at both, but not sure about the resale value on the e hybrid? Currently waiting for my dealer to take delivery of one to test drive. Loved the gts test drive.
@@Rogershijianhui I will surely share my test results. In 3 weeks, I am traveling to Germany to the Porsche factory and hopefully get to drive the E hybrid while I am at the factory.
This one had carbon ceramics? Curious as to the brake feel difference with the Turbo e-hybrid from carbon ceramics and the regular brakes that come standard. Is the brake feel better with ceramics or standard as it relates to the e-hybrid?
Thanks for the nice video .. I'm currently waiting for the delivery of my cayenne turbo e-hybrid coupe and i have two questions please. 1- My turbo cayenne is coming with turbonite which i did not opt in for but i was told all 2025 turbo model will come with it as a standard but yours have the traditional logo. 2- When you depleted all of the battery charge at the end of the video, do you still get the full 730hp or that's only when you have charge left?
1) Since this is a loan directly from Porsche, they may have different rules for how they can spec their cars compared to consumer cars 2) Yes, there's always a reserve kept to allow for access to the full power
One of my favorite vehicles yet it cost too much... at that cost get a Bentley Bentayga or Go all in for a Rolls Royce Cullinan.... get a used one of those now you may also have to get a couple years older one of those but the new ones have been updated a bit 2025.....LOL
Totally cold. That is why hybrid is sh*t : you get out of your driveway, you drive 10min in EV at low speed, and then you need to merge on the highway at 80mph and floor a cold engine.
@@vab120Porsche Australia explained to me yesterday on querying same; that is why they have the Automatic Flaps in front of the Radiator - to close in such circumstances to allow the Engine to warm up so much quicker at times like that. I guess it will take a few years and 150,000 klms of driving with the Engine, to know whether the longevity is compromised or not.
@vab120 flaps close automatically as engine kicks in, if not up to operating temperature at any time. This cuts air flow off, causing engine to heat up quickly.
@@waynehunt4327 I get it. But it needs combustion to heat up. You can close or open as many flaps as many times as you want, if there’s no combustion what do you think the engine’s temperature gonna be ? You are talking as if the driver had used both ICE and electric motor from start, but I am talking about this example like in the video : what if you are only in EV for like 10-15min and then you need to merge on a highway and floor the engine ?
In gas cars you can typically drive for 30 or so miles after the tank hits empty. With electric cars, is the range displayed accurate? Or can you run it for a bit on 0 range?
I know for pure EVs there's a built in "buffer" of a few miles of range after 0, but it's not a good habit to push that. for a PHEV like this, 0 might really be 0 since the gas engine would just kick on
