Strife already has his own game. The next one should be the finale.
@@Elfaia no, genesis has him and war so can’t count a prequel where we don’t see his own character development from the game we don’t have yet.
And also having the next game as the finale would take away his chance to shine without war and we don’t see how he might turn against the charred council so remember that well.

We are happy to wait but just give us a hint that Darksiders 4 is coming. So far it's absolutely amazing franchise, we fully understand the budget decision with Genesis and you still managed to make it an awesome game. DARKSIDERS FOREVER 🔥🔥🔥

I'm curious to if this is actual Switch gameplay or not cause it doesn't really look like it lol. If it is that's very impressive. Also that was a weird editing error where the thqnordic logo got cut off at the start of the video.
I think not, reviewers like SwitchUp say that launch performance is terrible. It's a shame, I was looking forward to this one. Hopefully it'll be patched up in future.

Really hope they drop the whole souls like game mechanics in future. She felt so weak compared to war and death( dies very fast and can only take on one or two enemies at a time). Which is quite ironic considering she's lore wise supposed to be the strongest horsemen. I think.

I haven’t even played these games but I’m also eagerly waiting for Darksiders 4. I just never had enough money when I wanted to get into franchise. But this month is my birthday and I’m gonna go cartridge hunting for Darksiders. It’s just this series reminded me of LoK a bit and I love LoK to Death (no pun intended). VAE VICTUS!

Strife's rage form is called Anarchy. So I hope Darksiders 4 shows on that aspect. Him just disrupting balance and acting more like Fury(before DSIII) but more of in a drunk way, upset about how the council functions and guilty over his actions against the Nephilim.
I'm surprised they got it to run on the Nintendo switch also if anyone wondering it plays a lot like dark souls combat wise.

The Nintendo switch port needs a patch for frame rate and pop in textures. Downloadable version really needs it even more.
seriously, impressed you got this working on switch but...nothing special or new for those who get this good but multi year old game on switch? i mean at the least a nintendo exclusive thing like armor or something. also, any plans for darksiders 4 so we can finally play strife? and dear god do not try to emulate darksouls or skyrim with it

i'm such a big fan of darksiders games , and i think darksiders 2 is the most under rated game of all time , i think the probleme is the advertising of your games it can be 1000 times to be better knowing that u have the best game

It's been awhile since I played darksiders. There's been some ups and downs. But yet the story and design the whole concept was on point. But my issue was the gameplay. Darksiders 1 was hands down the best game In preforms combat but lack in equipment weapons and etc and darksiders 2 Rpg mechanic was flawless but wat killed was the poor crushes. And darksiders 3 was okay I just hated the bug after bug and the tedious Darksoul vibe shouldn't have been used. Also the dlc was a dispointment. Clone weapons and equipment lock due the hollow element system. And let's talk about genesis. Personally some like and some hate. But for me. Man I didn't touch it. It feel raise and repeat but with a tag focused/diablo... the story was great but I feel the action wasn't there due to how the game was as a whole. I just hope the 5th game be better. Which each horseman has they own unique gameplay focus and fast and crazy gameplay like Dmc ninja gaiden and evening Dynasty warriors
Don't know how far you got with Genesis, I am currently playing it and it's honestly pretty damn great. You have to keep in mind that it was a budget game, you will appreciate it way more if you know that they had to do it like this. They needed more funding for a full Darksiders 4 and Genesis managed to sell rather well. That is the reason for the camera, limited landscape,no cutscenes, comic dialogues and so on. It is surprisingly fun once you get used to the camera a bit and get into the story, especially if you can run the game smoothly. It runs very well on my laptop and it's crazy dynamic. It looks bad after that beautiful beast of a game DS3 with Fury, DS3 is gorgeous and vibrant af, in that sense Genesis sucks at first when you look at it. However it's still pretty decent and definitely a Darksiders game. A huge aspect of this franchise was how powerful you feel as the horsemen and that's why people got upset with DS3 Fury dark souls vibe.
@@silverwolf2643 trust I understand the funded. I'm just saying as a whole I appreciate everything. Just there certain things that left me in gray area.. still tho. I'm just waiting if they are going to make a new on or not.
@@yokoyokome5281 Same, hope we get news soon, this has been one of the most underrated franchises. It's a miracle we got 2,3 and genesis, hopefully there will be at least another one.
Guys, 2 things:
-Darksiders 3 Enhanced Edition: DS3 was great, but was missing a lot of the things which made the series EPIC. Firstly, the bloody Executions-moves that you could perform to kill enemies and bosses. Another one was Rampage. You can't do a game about an horseman...without their horse!!!!!! Not even for the entire game, even just a few sections and boss fights before...THAT scene. Please fix it.
-Darksiders 4 with Strife!!!! We can't move on with the story just yet. Not before knowing Strife's point of view in all that happened. Also c'mon, he's amazing.

I really love Darksiders 3 and I was so happy to hear that it was going to be released for Switch...but this trailer doesn not show how it looks or runs on switch! That's the pc version, I'm quite disappointed to see how thq is trying to fool people into believing that this game looks like that on switch

Deathinitive edition was hell in Switch. Controls messed, some colorful graphics considering this is apocalypse after all, important parts and weapons cut... I am definitely not buying this for Switch.

Really? It was running like a beast on my laptop, however it had glitches and when you enter a certain area the enemies become ridiculously hard to kill. So kinda ditched it. But it was running very well.
