Thanks, pretty nice explanation of basic curves tools. I actually like curves in Coat, even though they have a lot of bugs and quirks... But it's a very nice combo of Nurbs and bezier splines with very simple toolset. In other 3d apps like 3ds max or Rhino splines have millions commands, options, modifiers... I like simplicity of Coat. If only it had analogue of 3ds max Surface modifier to build meshes from cage of intersecting splines... Would be a great way of getting complex meshes with well controlled curvatures.
3D Coat needs an interface re-work like Blender did, everything is so messy around the screen. Also, a beginner tutorial would benefit from building an actual model and show casing the tools there, rather than having the guy from the Clear Eyes commercial explain them one by one lol
