This is what I wish more Voice Actors would do, play the part but keep the integrity of the character. You don't have to change everything, tweaks here and there are fine but keep whoever you are playing true to what they are known for. Thank you Fluffy.
Haha, reminds me of the Sonic movies. I'm German, so the Sonic movies were dubbed in German of course. And instead of using someone appropriate for this important voice, they took a freaking RUclipsr, who SUCKS at the mic. Both movies I usually watch in English, both I have watched once in German and cringed myself through the whole ordeal. Oh and German Tails sucks too. In both cases, women do the voices. But the original Tails voice actress sounds perfectly like a boy, the other one...... sounds like a normal woman. Doesn't match........ And I don't think, there is any German Entertainer, who can compete with Fluffy about the voices. We have damn talented people, but Fluffy is his own league.

I grew up with Speedy, loved that mouse, positivity,fun and an iconic voice. Fluffy did him proud, no change....amazing and the mouse I still love 58 years later. Love Fluffy too.

Fluffy never fails to deliver such funny stories, I bet it was an honor to continue the legacy of Mel Blanc, the man of a thousand voices, fun fact: Mel Blanc grew up in a Hispanic neighborhood and spoke Spanish so well,thus he voiced Speedy Gonzalez flawlessly...
And Mel Blanc was Jewish, he had the most amazing voice for cartoons. I used to watch Mel Blanc when he was on The Jack Benny Show growing up. Always thought he was a funny guy. His son took over after his father passed away and he sounded a lot like his Dad. Gabriel nailed this one.

My father was born and raised in Guerrero, Mexico and they all love Speedy Gonzalez in the mother land. I still don't understand what the fuss is about in regards to Speedy being "offensive"
I think it has a lot to do with the "white guilt/white savior" complex among certain groups of people, especially those on Twitter. Most of the outrage that happens these days comes out of the cesspool that is Twitter. It's really annoying. As a family of Brown people, I can agree with Gabe. Speedy is literally if not the top 5 maybe the top 3 cartoon character that my family loves especially my dad. My dad is a hardcore Speedy Gonzales fan ever since he lay eyes on him not only for the representation of us brown people, but he is also funny as well. If my dad ever heard about people trying to cancel Speedy, he isn't going to let it slide without have a fight.

You can't out beat or out run the most classic character of all time! He was one of the very few characters who really caught my attention, and kept me glued to the screen laughing for hours. I have the second Space Jam. I was happy to see Gabriel Iglesias as the voice of Speedy Gonzales. He brought me back so many memories of watching the original cartoons with Speedy in them. I wish we could have seen more Speedy in the movie.

I've been so depressed the last 2 days because I was told that my kidney function was less than my last visit, Gabriel's videos have helped me to laugh after hearing the news. Happy Monday, Gabriel. Thanks for posting this video and congrats to being the new voice to Speedy. He is one of my favorite characters of the Looney Tunes gang. I like him because he is funny and the comedy of the cartoon, not because of the culture that he represents. In my opinion, the old cartoons from back then were funny and the comedy with them were great, but now people blow it all out of wack because of something they don't like in the cartoon. Which I think is crazy and seems very stupid as well. But everyone is different and have the right to think the way they do.
I think a lot of kids from unhappy families loved Speedy and Tweetie Bird. The Coyote and Sylvester were adults to many of us and beating them at their own game entranced us and helped us laugh. Can’t wait to see you voice Speedy!

Fluffy I think Mr blank would be pleased. The man who originally landed his voice for the character of Speedy Gonzales. By the way it doesn't surprise me that fluffy could do nearly any voiceover he wished to do, and it doesn't have to be any foreign language. He's great with dialects of all kinds. I wish they would use him in a new Aladdin movie, and any other Disney character. I believe he can do anyone he chooses.

Thanks for a fun post. You did great on the voice of Speedy Gonzalez. I think Mel Blanc may have been just a tiny bit faster, but the actual sound of the voice sounded the same. There are several cartoon characters that are on my favorites list, and Speedy Gonzalez is one of them.
Fluffy has that awesome way to end the story after telling it. Very few people know how to do that. You have that story where it just doesn't end and you want to listen until it gets boring. But Fluffy knows how to deliver that one mega funny point that ends the story perfectly 7:12

I think a lot of kids from unhappy families loved Speedy and Tweetie Bird. The Coyote and Sylvester were adults to many of us and beating them at their own game entranced us and helped us laugh. Can’t wait to see you voice Speedy!

Fluffy I think Mr blank would be pleased. The man who originally landed his voice for the character of Speedy Gonzales. By the way it doesn't surprise me that fluffy could do nearly any voiceover he wished to do, and it doesn't have to be any foreign language. He's great with dialects of all kinds. I wish they would use him in a new Aladdin movie, and any other Disney character. I believe he can do anyone he chooses.

See, I knew there was some controversy surrounding the movie, but I never knew it had anything to do with Speedy Gonzales or Pepè Le Pew.
I thought it was just about Lola Bunny and her being given a… “slight” redesign, which didn’t go over well with fans of the original movie and character.

Fluffy has that awesome way to end the story after telling it. Very few people know how to do that. You have that story where it just doesn't end and you want to listen until it gets boring. But Fluffy knows how to deliver that one mega funny point that ends the story perfectly 7:12
