The song is pretty good but i can totally understand why they wanted to scrap it. tbh it feels like it's missing something. there's so much potential for this song tho and I really hope the band comes back to this one in the future.

wilbur's right, he can't release something that we like but he doesn't. don't get me wrong this is one of my favorites but if he releases things he doesn't like then he would probably lose interests on making songs with lovejoy.

It's a good song but there are some problems:
I think the chorus needs to be more like the snippet not as bland as this
Will needs to be a little louder, but not yelling
Maybe add a little bit of more drums and a little bit of horns to the chorus
Make a second verse
And not wet
That's really all that I think is wrong, I see this being a great song and I love the chorus, it has so much potential!

I think the main problem is his vocals sound a bit... dead? Also with his low voice, it can really easily get lost in the instrumentals, which kinda happens here
