Thank you for the advice and much needed video. I found this very helpful as a beginner. I spent roughly over the amount in USD and I was worried😅 but it seems I did alright after crunching down everything I could to bring down the cost.
Thank you for this helpful list. I love your channel and wanted to support what you're doing so ordered the pancake funnel through your link ... you're welcome ;)
tnx for the Video :) im also having some ideas for Candles and would be happy if i can live from it :) Why you cohse to make your candles in jars? and not freestanding
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :) These are container candles and not pillar candles, they are more common for small candle makers to make (in the UK at least)
Is there any reason you chose the Limeow (?) Pistol Funnel (from your link) over the cheaper ones on Amazon? It also has some very bad reviews, although they could be fake. I am confused which brand to buy as they all look the same yet have a big price range. Plus bad reviews put me off. Is the one in the link the one you use (so must be fine)?
Hello! I just linked the one that I bought - if you check the dimensions on any cheaper ones and they match then feel free to go with an alternative listing! I checked the reviews on the one linked just now and it does have 70% 5 star reviews, it seems the bad ones are maybe faulty or damaged from transit. Never had any issues myself though 👌🏼
PLease please please, can you show us how you measure your oil and wax for at least 3 different containers and fragrances, I'm so confused about this. HELP ME lol
Thank you! I actually don't add any fragrance oil to the kettle as this would mean having to clean it out between each fragrance, but i can show my whole process in a video if that helps? :)
@@IvyTwineCandles That would be a great video if you could show your whole process, for example how do you get the wax out of the kettle, do you use a ladel or something equivalent?
such a useful video! thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thank you, thank you. Perfect information!
How many funnel pourers do you own? How do you manage to clean and re use for other scents?
Great video! What made you use a soup kettle over other candle melters? Do you also use a ladel to take the wax out of the soup kettle?

Your videos are very well organised and detailed. Thank you so much!
Good ideas/advice. Thank you! I am already using the thermometer mentioned. also use a heat blanket to warm my glass jars :-)
Thanks Hanne :) Oh that's a great idea! The current wax I used doesn't require pre heated jars but that's a fab tip x
This is great Georgina! I'm going to give your link to everyone that comes to my Candlemaking Workshops, it will be a huge help to them. Thanks!
Ahh that's sounds fab! Thanks Jo 🥰
Hi. I just bought the funnel but how do you clean it? I haven’t used it yet but hoping to today 😊

Can you make a video on packaging and the best places to purchase them from?
Yes this is definitely a topic I can cover in a future video, thanks for the suggestion :)
Thank you so much for your advice dear, Im from Cambodia I like to ask you how many percent of fragrance you put in your candle ?
Thank you for a really useful video, those piston funnels look like a game changer. I'll have to treat myself to one of those!
I’m so glad you found it helpful ☺️ they really are! Cant imagine not using one now tbh 🙌🏼

Thanks for the answer :)
Can i make Pillar candles with the same Soy wax, or do i need some special mix for it?
Hi, could you do a video on printing labels please?

You rock!
Great suggestions! Do you add and mix your FO on the kettle first and then transfer it to the funnel?

@@IvyTwineCandles Yes, it would definitely help as I am looking into buying a funnel but don’t want the extra pieces to have to clean.
Perfect, I’ll try get that video up soon 👍
