    I made this last night for a friend's party for his 6 yo boy. And doubled it to make cupcakes and an extra layer just in case. I just gotta say I got rave reviews from everyone who got to try it and it is my hands down new favorite frosting! Your cake and frosting were so simple, easy and wonderful! Thank you

    I made this for a birthday cake. It was delicious! I got plenty of good comments! I cut the amount of buttercream in half and it was just enough for my taste. I couldn't fin buttermilk so I ''made'' it with vinegar and milk.
    I will do it again for an upcoming birthday. Thanks!

    Hello .. in India we dont get buttermilk in graocieres much .. so will it be okie if i mix yogurt and water or should I add lemon juice inside milk in order to make buttermilk .. it would be of immense help if u could let me know this

    • @pinaihaquo3400

      Harshini d hi! use 120 grams of greek yogurt + 120 ml of milk as a substitute for buttermilk. Dont use sweet or flavored yogurt okay, use the sour one. Or you can just use 240 ml (1 cup) of whole milk + 1 or 2 tablespoons of lemon juice or white vinegar and leave it for 30 minutes in room temp, then its ready to use. 😊

    I love this cake my only problem is the edges are a little crispy and when trying to crumb coat it they always seem to stick out and either way eating it isn't the most pleasant. In your rainbow cake you trimmed those layers around the edges I'm curious with trimming edges they won't be the most prefect but will it still ice smoothly I genuinely can't find this info online or I'm searching the wrong thing. Thanks !

    • @SugarGeekShow
      @SugarGeekShow  4 года назад

      Dylan.. hi! Are you making sure to chill your cakes before and after crumb frosting and then doing your final coat? The chilling part usually helps with the crumbs. I only trim off the edges when I want to have really pretty, clean slices, but still get some crumbs on the outside when I do my 1st crumb coat layer. Does this answer your question?
