In my drama class, we all sat in a circle on stage and read scripts from this play to prepare for an upcoming project for us, and when we got to Script the whole class kept ooing as the script went on
Lol my teacher continuously insists that is is a straight platonic friendship scene but all the rest are love scenes. Like exclusively pointed out “they fell” male and female version and said it was just friendship. Idk what to do
I watched the play at my high school (not all of it, my class was given a free preview) and Chad was a girl and Randy was a guy. The girl was dressed as a guy though. They didn't have many guys, so that's why. I really liked this scene!!
At least they didn't make it so they were strait. At least they tried to make it accurate with what they had. I excuse that because they had a lack of boys for the role, but they still tried to make it so it was two gay men
the problem is that people see gay relationships as "inappropriate" and "unsafe for children" when in reality they're just as innocent as any relationship can be.....i'm so sorry that your school chose to censor gay relationships and hide that part of the world from you! i'm sure it didn't help any lgbt kids watching feel safer in their school.....i wish we could just accept the lgbt community and move on but it has to be a whole Thing
