How to make a time lapse of a plant growing

Interested in making a time lapse of a plant growing? It's super easy, you can use your phone, you don't need fancy equipment.
I use my phone, Huawei Honor 6x, it has an excellent camera. I actually bought a second phone, just for my timelapse videos.
