Fascinating video John. When I was a teenager in the 80’s my buddy was dead set on buying a Winchester lever rifle in 44 mag. An older guy in our hunting club had a Rugar semi auto in 44 mag that people were very envious of. The impact on the Wild West of 44-40 is quite amazing. Thanks 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
My first 44 Magnum rifle was a Marlin 1894 that I purchased in 1979. It would not feed reliably, so I had it worked on, but I never did enjoy shooting it. A couple of years later I bought a Rossi Puma in 357 Magnum. It was rough as a cob, but functional. Eventually I replaced both guns with a Browning Miroku built Model 92 in 44 Magnum. Now that was one beautiful smooth operating carbine. I still have it, but keep it mainly as a safe queen. Rossi has since improved their QC so that today I use them and other brands in various calibers and configurations. Despite my early experiences, I think the reason I persisted in owning them is that they have a lot of eye appeal and are very handy to carry. I suppose growing up watching westerns had a lot to do with it as well.

Yep, the lever actions, and that Ruger 44M carbine, are great! Take care!

Someone sure Bubba'd the slot-head screw on that Tigre. It happens, I guess. Thanks, John!
