    Agate stone Photoshop textures are dramatic and colorful abstract patterns that are known for their bold jewel tones that command attention. Agate can be used in so many different design applications. You can use this lovely and bright texture in everything from website design to worksheets, social media posts. Beautiful as an accent piece as well as a big bold dramatic centerpiece in a poster and so much more.
    Because the design is so abstract in nature it can easily be incorporated into designs for a multitude of different subjects. This is exactly why I love these abstract Photoshop textures so much and why I want to share it with you. Agate Photoshop textures are also super easy to recreate in just a few steps. This is one of those textures that you’ll definitely want to keep in your arsenal to create and use for a variety of different applications. You can also create these textures with your own brand colors or custom design colors.

    I have a quick question. Following your tutorial at the end you created a black white & gold one. How did you get that effect. I am trying to do the same with red tan and gold. How would I go about that? Your videos are excellent by the way, very helpful.

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  5 лет назад +2

      Thank you so much! I added the gold by masking out part of the Agate texture layer. First, make a selection, choose select on the top menu, then color range, choose a color you want to mask. It won't take all the color only the specific shade you select. Click okay, you will see the marching ants for your selection. Select the agate texture layer and add a layer mask from the bottom of the layers panel. Make sure you have the mask selected, with the brush tool "erase" the selection. If you put a texture underneath it will begin to show through. Sorry for the long reply, I hope it helps.

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  2 года назад

      My view on it is, a digital paper is not seamless, it is a specific sized “paper” a pattern/texture on the other hand may or may not be seamless

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  3 года назад

      I don’t think it was available in cs6 but you don’t need it. Just work from the middle, outward. The results will be the same.

      Pin edges wasn’t available before cc 2014 I’m not sure about any other reason you wouldn’t have it. You don’t really need it though. You can work from the center out and get similar results.

    Hi there :)
    Very Helpful tutorial !
    I am facing a problem and i hope you can help me with it,
    after applying the liquify effect to fibers with pin edges option selected my whole canvas turn into black no matter what color i choose and if i don't select the (Pin to edges) option then the texture turn out to be fine after applying liquify effect.
    Can you help me with that please

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  5 лет назад

      Hi, Not sure what's happening but it sounds like the issue might be with your graphics processor. In Photoshop settings go to preferences and check your graphics processor settings. Try to use the liquify filter without using the graphics processor, that might help.

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  5 лет назад

      Sorry, graphics processor settings are under "performance" inside your preferences menu. I hope this helps.

    Hello, is there a way to create a bass texture and keep using that base for the different colors I want to create? Also, can I change the DPI and CMYK color options after creating? ( I hope this makes sense) I am new to photoshop and already learned so much from your channel. Thank you

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  5 лет назад +1

      Hi there, you can add hue/saturation adjustment layers to change the color or add a color overlay. You will have less control of your colors but it’s an option. You can change the resolution when you’re done with filters, just make sure that the image dimensions don’t change. I hope this helps.

    • @ltfacio
      @ltfacio 5 лет назад

      @@PrettyWebzMedia Thank you. So for example if a document is 500x500 px and it's 72 resolution, I can't make it a 3000x3000 and up the resolution to 300? is that what you mean? Thanks again.

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  5 лет назад

      You can start with high resolution at a larger size to get the best quality but it takes a toll on your computer. You can resample the smaller texture I have a video on how to do that ruclips.net/video/chTLNeN0WKY/видео.html I used an image here but it’s the same process, then apply a sharpen filter to bring back the detail. Filter, sharpen, (optional) sharpen more

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  5 лет назад +1

      When you change the resolution Photoshop automatically changes the dimensions of the image. Not sure why I mentioned this since you’re changing the image size anyway. Sorry for the confusion.

      What version of Photoshop are you using?

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  5 лет назад

      I believe pin edges was added with Photoshop CC 2014, if you don't have it you can use liquify, try to keep as much of the edge as possible working from the center out then stretch the layer over the canvas to get rid of any transparent areas. I hope this helps.

    • @PrettyWebzMedia
      @PrettyWebzMedia  4 года назад +1

      Saje JekyllHyde This is usual a problem with the graphics processor. Try changing your graphics settings for Photoshop. In Photoshop | preferences | performance, under “graphics processor settings” click the advanced tab and try using “normal” or “basic” that should help. You can also tick off “use graphics processor” if changing the settings doesn’t help.

      If you make your pixel count too high, you will get the black screen. I was fine using 3000 pixel, then I went to 7000 and got the black screen. Back it down.
