PrettyWebz Media I’m obsessed with your videos! I hope you keep uploading, it’s helping me learn to design during covid lockdown. Sending love from Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺❤️
I finally got it hehe Thank you so much for sharing your tutorials because I would’ve given up by now lol p.s i watched your liquify marble tutorial and then i came to watch how to add the glittered clipping mask hehehe now i can go and make more texture paper heheh THANK YOU!!!
I’m glad it worked out, you can make some really beautiful textures with this method. Also consider adding curves and contrast adjustments for even better results. Check out the liquid gold tutorial for how to do it. ruclips.net/video/OkwWtVNkYmE/видео.html it makes a big difference :-)
@@PrettyWebzMedia oh yea I tried that too lmao that was the first tutorial I watched and learned before I came to this video :) youre a star thank you once again!
The video was helpful, It'll be a beautiful effect I'm shopping in for one of my images.. IF I DONT TURN INTO THE MAD HATTER DUE TO THAT NOISE!! Ahhh!! Lol But thank you, but jeezzzzzz
Hi Thank you for this video! i was wondering how you would create a black background with white veins. I can't seem to order them correctly without the black totally covering up the veins. Thank you!
Try creating it normally with the white background and then inverting the colors Open the "Image" menu, then "Adjustments" submenu and choose "Invert." Press "Ctrl-I" or "command+I" to access the Invert command from the keyboard.
hello can you help me please i need a information. after she choose at 11:22 Shift and W after the selected part it turns black which shortcut did she use? or what she did i didnt understand it. hope i get an answer thanks
Oh no, I must have a broken link ;-( I added the link to the textures and to a video on how here on RUclips showing you how to make them but just in case, here are the links again Download the gold textures used in this video here: bit.ly/threegolds or make the gold textures on your own. I show you how in this video: ruclips.net/video/v5907NNWjrQ/видео.html Thanks Karen!
Not in InDesign, you can make textures in Illustrator but I find it easier to make it in Photoshop and save it as a pattern swatch in Illustrator so that you can draw with the pattern, add it to text, shapes, etc. I will make a video to show you how to do this soon.
Thank you for the tutorial. Everything has gone well until I get to the point of adding the metallic texture. There are no pixels selected when I go through the colour range stage. Any suggestions of what I might be doing wrong?
In the Color Range window, make sure "select color range" is selected. Also, select the eyedropper with the + sign next to it, to add color to the selection. You can also try widening your range, if your range setting is too low you may not pickup color.
I tried so hard to follow along, but when I get to the part for the gold texture when I do File Place it places it over layer 1 on my layer icons and I can't unselect (I've tried multiple times), but in your video it adds it as a new layer. I'm using CS6
I’m on the 2020 photoshop and I’m not able to have the layers on the right side of the screen. When I try to change the mode of the layer it tells me that there is no form
You should have all of these options in Photoshop CC 2020. Try resetting your workspace - Window>>Workspace>Essentials (Default) You may have changed your settings.
@@PrettyWebzMedia hi, it doesn't let me have a background layer and when I used the layer that automatically came it said could not apply difference clouds because the area is empty how can I fix this im stuck on the first step hahaha
A few things, make sure your foreground and background colors are black and white. If it's still giving you black color or not working at all you might have an issue with your video driver, check for an update. If your driver is up to date I would try shutting down Photoshop and restarting, this works the majority of the time. You can also try resetting your preferences, this can help as well.
Hi, this is a free product in my shop so you will have to “check out” but no payment information is required. You will get an email, just click on the link in the “download” area of that email.
Gorgeous effect... Thank you! Just a quick question about the sound... Is the squeaking on my end or yours? It was kind of like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard when it happened, so I had a hard time getting through the entire video. Thumbs up anyway, though!!!
I'm not sure, I had a comment on another video about smoke alarm chirping, it may be the same sound. I've fixed it though. Thanks for the comment, I'll look into it.
I had my three dogs shaking on top of me, I’m running around my house and nothing is beeping. Until I figured it out, duh! Watching now with headphones for my dogs’ sanity.
That smoke detector is REALLY irritating. Why could you not have just changed the batteries before doing this tutorial. I can't focus on the tutorial because of it.
Yes, I know the smoke detectors are a huge nuisance. I have a new version of this (without the noise) if you're interested. ruclips.net/video/z5J9NBfkuhA/видео.html

I don't see the option " Color Range" on my photoshop Elements 2020. Is there any idea how I can find this? Thank you! Loved your tutorial!
I’m not too familiar with the setup on elements but from what I’ve seen I believe “color range” is in the effects pallet.
Very nice work
Thanks, again :-)

Thank you, I'm glad you found it useful.
Hi! Thanks for the tutorial. Is this tileable? Thanks!
You can make it tileable by using the offset filter (offset by half) and then cleaning up sharp lines.
If you select shadows instead you can get rid of those black dots in the gold veins.
Vigilence Thanks, good tip!

Had to turn down the volume so my bird wouldn't hear that high pitch beep in the background... He learns everything! Good video just the same 🐦

It's been a while since I've used CS6, do you have the "place embedded" option available? If you do, try placing the image this way.
I am not able to get the veins, it just becomes dark cloudy texture I am exactly following the tut.
Make sure you are changing your layer mode to screen otherwise it will stay dark

If there is a lock on the layer on the right side, click on it and you will be able to use it as the background
I'm doing exactly as the tutorial says but my Difference Clouds aren't producing a veiny effect. Why is that? What should I do?

Rumor has it, the smoke alarm is still beeping to this day
