Okay I just have to say, this is so incredibly fascinating! I would have never guessed that the seeds from the store are actually covered in a water soluble coating. Reminds me of fish food pellets lol. Anyway, Thanks again Mark for taking your time with documenting this and sharing it with all of us viewers. :)

      Hi Luis!
Glad you enjoyed it! I thought it was very interesting as I was filming it and seeing it for the first time as well and the people at Ball Horticultural could not have been nicer!
      Thanks for watching, commenting!

For some reason I keep missing these earlier videos even after checking the video list. This "series" actually popped into my recommended videos. Very interesting stuff and deserves more views. Have you considered rolling this into one video since it's only about 15 minutes in total?
Is this something they do only for big business or are the seeds you can purchase from retailers and nurseries also coated/shelled like this?
Also since I'm obliged to make some sort of body comment at least once a week I choose not to go the horndog way today. I can't tell if the ladies here are short or if the folks (like Dave) you usually hang around with are really huge because compared to Dave you look short but here you look pretty tall.
