I think this is perfect for any holiday morning or cold morning to feed the family a delicious breakfast.
Ingredients
1lb sausage cooked. (Suggested 1 tube)
1 small yellow or white onion chopped and cooked in the sausage grease with the same meat when it’s done. About a cup of sausage.
6 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
Small bag of frozen diced hash brown potatoes (this is the easy mommy hack for me)
8 oz bag of shredded cheese. The kids like the Mexican 4 cheese blend.
Salt & pepper to taste. (When the sausage and onions are cooking)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Prepare sausage & onion and salt & pepper when it’s done.
3. In a larger bowl coming all ingredients. Set aside a little bit of cheese. (I used to layer everything but for time this past year combined it all and it was a hit. I had Phoenix ready to eat and just tried to rush the layering)
4. Bake for 35 mins or until eggs are done. Top with remaining cheese and 5 more mins in the oven.

Because I love. Scrambled eggs so much, I`d have to scramble a few more to pour over the mixture. Toast with real grape jelly and a cold glass of milk finishes it off for me!

Or not freeze it just sit in fridge overnight sit it on counter half hr and bake or just bake same day.

I so agree with the excessive touching comment. I really cannot with her. She was lucky that she didn’t get a casserole "accidentally" dropped on her thirsty feet. I know Nick and Vanessa had a conversation about that. Some women (and men) are so full of themselves that they think they are irresistible to the opposite sex. I think she makes Cameron uncomfortable as well.

There are at least a dozen of these recipes on RUclips and the web. Look up breakfast casserole.
Some mix the cheese with sour cream, and others substitute bread for the potato. And if you cut the recipe in half, it fits in an 8 by 8 pan.

I don't think casseroles really need to be a specific recipe. Just add the amount of sausage, cheese and potatoes that your family would like with the eggs. That's why they called it a dump. Just dump the ingredients in, no recipe needed.

What's Christmas without Breakfast Casserole. Mine is different but I would love to try this. Basically like mine but some extra ingredients. The onions and potatoes and no bread. I can do this. A great breakfast supper or whenever.
You can prep this the night before and just pop it in the oven in the morning.

LOL, no. REAL LIFE HERE!...... our family gets home from Midnight Mass at 2:45 am and puts the kids in bed and then do the stockings until 3:15 am. then go to bed ..... and the little ones are up at 9:30 am raring to go on 5 hours of sleep...... there is nothing wonderful about Christmas Morning. It is a blurry mess until serious amounts of high-caffeine coffee are coursing through my veins. Store bought muffins and cinnamon rolls. Later in the afternoon there is salmon spreads and pate that I pre-made served with champagne..... and a wonderful dinner by 6 pm made by ME....... Oysters with peppercorn fennel mignonette sauce, homemade cream of Asparagus soup, Beef Tenderloin, potatoes and vegetables, followed by a cheese platter and eventually a Brownie, chocolate mousse whipped-cream trifle.. Husband does the dishes, of course., the kids crash or go to a late show at the movie theater......... and I'm off to bed at 10 pm after spraying serious amounts of "Spray & Wash" on all the linens Now that's Christmas!!!!!!

I hear ya! My husband and I are all about spices.....looks pretty, but this seems bland. Maybe a hint of garlic.....some paprika.....certainly salt and pepper......I don't know.

Nay She is sharing a family tradition! My late husband and I cooked together with our five children on holidays! We changed recipes over the decades. Our children have many beautiful memories cooking with Dad and Mom! There are a lot of Mom’s and Dad’s to lazy to cook!
