When dashers accept these low ball orders, 2 things happen; the “customer “ gets rewarded for being essentially a thief and door dash gets rewarded for making a profit at the dumb dashers loss as well as heading up slave labor jobs. Simply hit the decline button and start rewarding customers who actually tip decently as well as programming door dash algorithms to not keep sending you the garbage orders.

This is Why I got it done on Sunday. Actually got 2 catering orders taking all orders. My only decline was a Dollar General when I already had stacked orders.
I'm in the middle of a 24 hour challenge going around Northern Indianapolis area 20.5 hours in so far. $396. Starting to get tough. Late night rocked though. From midnight to 330am was beat hours here.
Never wait for someone who doesn't answer their phone. Hit "customer is not available" and wait for the five minute timer. After that it prompts you to take a picture a leave.

Doordash never gives me local orders yet I see dashers at restaurants daily. Yet they give me “very busy” an hour away that costs me $80 to get there and back so it’s not even worth it. Yet I am forced to do it when money is low and work stupid hours. I’m ready to make a video on how brutal this existence is soon 🤣

I've been top dasher twice and to me it's not really worth accepting garbage orders all day to get the acceptance rate up. The garbage orders are still gonna be there and the only good thing is that you can dash whenever you want.
To point out the obvious Blake I know we don't like $3 orders but it's only going a mile and a half basically so basically the customer did tip you a dollar. $2 orders are bad because they don't even tip you but if you're going in town staying in your zone you can knock those orders out very quickly if you're trying to make Top Dasher.
I better never hear this guy complain about the orders being sent out. Especially since he always does these types of videos. This doesn't help the community at all. He's proving to DD that we're willing to take crap orders.
You'll get plenty of garbage if you want to maintain top dasher. That's why it means nothing to me. These are all business decisions, and I can't run a business on less than $8 orders, and less than $1.75 per mile.
My cousin was trying to get his AR back up but he came up about 10% short. His area doesn’t have much shift availability problem. Phoenix market. My top dasher bid was dashed when my star rating was way too low. They fixed it back to 4.71 but it was too late in the month by the time it was fixed. I am in Puget Sound area.
Yeah you going to have to pick your orders you have a lot of kids ordering and kids usually don't tip, plus if you actually get a driver to deliver your food for 2 to 3 bucks people are going to keep doing it! I tell drivers in my market all the time to stop accepting low ball orders. When people realize no one's picking up their food they'll start tipping!
Facts acceptance are overrated. 70% or 20% dd will send your the same orders. Depending on the amount of drivers and orders in the area. Its the luck of the draw
Top Dasher is not worth it man. I just shedule, and go out, I won't take trash orders to make top dasher. I'm at like a 50% acceptable rate for this month. Last month I was top dasher, I didn't really see any benefits other than being able to dash now when ever. My zone is always busy so I could care less.
Man I dig the work ethic and dedication you put into these videos. It is truly inspiring. But my 12% acceptance rate just made me $40 in an hour on a Wednesday lol
I got a 10% acceptance rate. I live in a heavily Indian community. And many of them are from India where tipping is not a thing at all. It's actually looked down upon over there. There's fuckloads of $4.00 orders with no tip at all and those ones you just decline. No point in taking them.
Man I just recently found your channel thanks for all the content. Since I started dashing I got know my area pretty well already plus I sort of have an advantage to some cause I pretty much live right in the middle of town and all the places are literally all around me. Plus there's a 7 eleven just up the road that gets lots of 7 now orders. Sometimes all I do is chill at 7 eleven and pick up deliver right up the road then back to 7 eleven and there might already be another order to deliver up the road :)
The more garbage you accept the more garbage you'll get lol. Ive done that.... they don't reward you with better offers. Also they will send you orders so far outside the area they just send stuff that doesen't make sense. Also you need to cut back those energy drinks and stick to coffee or tea. the energy drinks just burn a hole in your wallet

My McDonald's is now open on the inside until 10:00 p.m. after 10:00 p.m. they let you call them in the delivery spot and they bring it out to you looks like somebody finally got some common sense that and they punch your card every time you go in there and then you get a free sandwich when you fill it up.
i hate when they send you out the zone… i only do those if i’m about to end my dash. bro if they don’t respond or have the doors locked “leave it at the door”

Have any of you guys noticed an expansion of your Doordash areas?? My zone now is 15-20 miles east-west and north-south... I believe it is because of Dollar General coming on to the platform
Mine have expanded. Yes. And there are also so many new Doordash markets that sprung up last spring around me in the OKC metro … it had to have been at least four new markets in the outliers.
I don't understand the complaints with UE. They are my top app. They do have small issues, but related to the discussion in this forum, IMO, they are tops.

Just for the sake of argument, do you think it would have made a difference if you had declined a few and used the reason that the order was too small, which would then affect the algorithm to send bigger orders?
I always put "order is too small" when declining. But I live in an area with a lot of Indian immigrants and the tipping culture isn't a thing with Indians who came from India.

With the price of gas being so high, they should mandate at least ten dollars a job, not counting tips. Anything less is a ripoff for dashers.

In my area even as a top dasher you may only get 10 orders in a day. I’ve actually dashed 12hrs for $60 just waiting on orders.

That is one hour. How many bad hours you have in the slower period. During diner it is easy to hit 40 bucks. 4 ten dollar orders an hour . Pretty easy

This is my every time I drive. Many have recommended doing 2 app at a time. That is the best advice.

The cut off is the last day of the month!
It should kick in the first of the month but I’ve seen it take up to a week sometimes
