Just a heads up, those metal sleeve caps (Torque limiter sleeves) that you popped out are supposed to reinstalled over and thru those new rubber grommets. They're intended to prevent squishing the gasket. If you had any leaks, this could be a reason why. Hopefully you held on to them or else you'll have to make a trip to junkyard.
Same after two days hard driving looks cleaner than it ever has. I keep thinking about how the engineering will work and with such a little torque holding those bolts in, I can’t imagine that the torque limiting sleeves from the factory make much of a difference with the higher quality silicone gasket.
Excellent video. Clean simple and accurate. Thankyou!
Thanks

I'll have to re-watch the video lol to remember what you are referencing. I haven't had leaking issues but I'll check
Looking around 9:20 it doesn't look like he used them 👀👀

Thanks for the great walkthrough, doing this tomorrow and fingers crossed there's no sludge.
Good luck!
Those Jeep blueprints…Major grooviness!!! Replacing the valve cover gasket so no oil leaks -yeah, that’s groovy too.
Nice job Major.I used the FelPro gasket on my 4.0L about 5 years ago and haven't had any issues yet.👍👍💪
Thank you for this video! Confidence up to 100 that I can do this on my own.
Glad it helped
Nice job, great video!
How do you get the back bolt on the valve cover seems like my ratchet isn't sitting on the bolt right seems like I don't have enough room
I used a 1/4 drive socket as they are thinner and smaller to fit in tighter spaces
Where would you get a new cruise control end piece? My plastic end for the cable to attach to the throttle cable has snapped 93 country
Ebay or Deadjeep.com
What is the purpose of the nut on stud?
Actually the fuel rail wiring harness clips to these on mine. Other than that I don't see a reason. Probably an assembly line thing
"This is made in China, this is concerning" LOL .. great video thank you!!
