Honestly, nothing has helped me to get to my feminine energy more than becoming religious over the past year. I learned to stop controlling everything because I have my worries to God and had faith in Him to help me. Since then, surrendering that control to God has helped me to be a happier person. Your videos feel like a conversation with a wise friend who understands my challenges and offers insightful advice that truly resonates. Thanks Jillz. Grateful to you ❤

There is a time and a place for relaxing, a significant amount of time and brain power goes into staying on top of things in these volatile and expensive times when single...
It’s an enormous help if a woman has a good partner next to her who helps her, even in small things like cleaning. Doing everything alone is just too draining and too difficult. Not to mention dealing with stress alone… :( Getting hugs when one is stressed or the partner surprises with some relaxing program makes it easier to manage stress…
Well Liz,being raised by a single mom this is how you view life😢:needing controll bc you are the only breadwinner. And if you can't provide you cant feel safe. So you can't be in your feminine energy. My mom is one and was her kid:And I had a very. Very feminine energy even as a kid. But growing up and we are both trying to make ends meet I'm slowly becoming like her😢.My body holds so much tension I barely sleep. My muscles twitch. I remember when I once was a very creative kid and teenager, music singing dancing and painting. And the worst is that all this has been ingrained in my by my mom, that :Life is cruel. Nobody helps you. You have to work hard to barely make a living. That rich people didn't work but inherited their money. That rich men don't fall for girls like me bc im poor. That people won't ever value my talents (artistic)because I'm poor and don't have the artistic background. I'm 29 and nowhere In life. I need to be my own anchor and get out of this rut that my mom thrives in yet at the same time I need healing and a slow life. Seems like I can't have both bc I need financial stability so bad. I see everything as a threat or as disappointment 😞. I have seen this in myself and I promise to try to change all this by myself😢😅🎉
Hey, try finding a slow and easy job even if it's not much, just for you to relax a little bit and can calm your mind. Try putting yourself first at everything! I send you great things to your path. A hug and a kiss. ❤️😘
Releasing control matters a lot and absolutely, our controlling parts do stem from the lack of a felt sense of safety, but for many women, particularly those who have experienced trauma or a traumatic childhood, it's not as simple as "choosing" to let go because these experiences live in the body and the nervous system, not the mind. I actually think this message to "let go" can be harmful in some cases (and certainly was for me), because if letting go doesn't come easily, as easily as simply choosing, you can feel like there's something wrong with you. You can feel like you're a controlling b*tch, or whatever expletive you want to insert (AKA the worst and most undesirable thing a woman can be). And if you don't understand where the controlling parts come from, well, then you can feel crazy if "choosing" to let go doesn't work, or only works so far. I'd recommend looking at science-backed approaches to healing via attachment styles//patterns alongside lifestyle changes and adopting positive mindsets like the divider concept. Psychotherapist Jessica Baum's book Anxiously Attached is especially good for healing control and understanding why you might control in the first place.
Controlling creates anxiety and suffering. Surrendering means choosing to trust rather than controlling. We never have control of anything so we just unnecessarily stress ourselves when we try to control.
I feel you, I've been there when I was younger. The only thing that worked for me was trying to drown the noise around me, stop trying to make toxic people change, and just focus on myself. What can I do to better myself in order to be able to leave this situation as soon as possible? I know it's easier said than done but I promise when you make it happen, it feels liberating
I don’t try to control much, just my dirty dishes and laundry, getting to dentist on time and money overspending - but none of this works, if I let go I will just die in dirt and be late everywhere… I don’t really get how to manage life and constantly feel like I need a nanny (I’m 35)

quick reminder that asserting control in some environments and situations is neccessary to succeed. also, letting go of control to recharge is quite possible if you're emotionally mature enough. you can have a very soft life and "be in your feminine energy" while asserting control in some areas of your life. unless you are willing to go down the "stay at home gf and influencer" route, find some balance and don't antagonize rather work with your controlling tendencies. it is easy for someone who sits in their living room the whole day and maybe edits a video to tell you that you "just have to let go of control". i would admire this if she was a working as a lawyer full time simultaneously, but ofc she's not. remember, those influencers don't want you to have a soft life, they want you to watch (and indirectly pay them) to have theirs. you have to be rich or have a partner to entertain this delusion and if you don't, don't take this stuff seriously.
How does this happen? The average working mother who is not only a going to college and making sure her special needs child is taken care off on top of running a home.
Just adding that this is my personal choice, but I click off any video that has BetterHelp as a sponsor, no matter how much I love the video and the creator. I hope creators who care about mental health start doing proper research and stop promoting them. I know it's hard to discern the helpful companies from the other kind, but I believe there's enough feedback on comment sections and info online. So at this point I believe it's the creator's responsability to do better. I say this with as much kindness as I can as I do love Jillz's content.
