      @@upscgs8152 As sir said rape is the last stage of all this..and I am not justifying this,but I am damn sure, men do not face this type of characterization everyday..where either they have wore shirt and trousers or shorts people will keep staring and smiling..
      As a 22 year old,this feeling really makes me feel that equality for women in a society is a long run as of now.
      When I can't wear clothes of my choice( talking about bare minimum jeans - tshirt) ..what equality this society is offering me?

      @@upscgs8152 One thing which is beyond my comprehension is why do men start playing card of vulnerability whenever there is an ongoing issue related to women?
      Rape is not gender specific. Everyone is aware of this fact. But don't you think that unnecessarily attaching issue of "Men's rights" here is futile. And is infact dragging the main agenda down?
      You want to raise a banner for men's rights, then go ahead, do it. Infact many women will support you in doing this(from saving you from fellow men!).
      But don't you try to make an attempt to dilute the cause itself.

      "Not all women".
      One of my friends didi who used to cheat with her bf and also slept with multiple people before meeting her husband, got married, now divorced.
      She posted this r@pe incident on Insta and it made me think how fake people can be.
      I thought if she were a men She would have r@ped girls . Now shes posting these things don't suit her. She would be bringing casual bf while her main husband is long distance, next day her parents would come, and that day she prays to god in the morning doing Aarti and all. I am like this person also prays to go. I have seen all these things so i know.
      Just like how you think all men are bad I also used to have this mentality that all women are bad. But that's not true, its not about gender, its about characteristics.

    As a 22 year old, I feel there is a very strong lack of communication and awareness about managing emotions in combination with sexual urges, this has been a taboo topic which is often ignored by elder generations who themselves never had thought of these topics worth of any value to be taught to younger generations, and this has become rooted in mind of majority of indian males who deny acknowledging their emotions and give into negative emotions and urges which escaltes into issues like rapes and violence......its time we take action by making these conversations "not awkward" , rather something which must be discussed in every household.

    Being a girl, yes I can say that I felt uncomfortable on many occasions and very sure that all other girls also have the same feeling while walking on the road, in school, college even at home. We are not safe from dirty eyes anywhere. Either directly or indirectly even consciously or unconsciously boys are socialised in that manner and girls are trained for the situations. Fortunately I was born in a well educated family but still sometimes I feel self restraint just by being a girl. The solution for the problems like this is that the men should come forward and take the charge against all this.

    As a woman, I sometimes feel horrible seeing that some women are willing to present themselves as objects of sex, posting content on social media so willingly and enjoying the following and hype that comes with it. They seem to enjoy it. I think it may also impact how women are viewed in society.
    But at the end of the day, it's every person's personal choice to do what they like, and women are no exception. However, this should never be seen as an invitation for rape, abuse, or any form of harm.
    Yess.It's a complex spectrum of perceptions about women in society leads to crimes against them.But no woman, as a human being, deserves to be brutally raped, sexually abused, or subjected to a horrific death.

You addressed the elephant in the room today which 99% of the people avoid talking about, which is our mindset towards women. If our society really wants to curb those crimes against us, women, they'll have to start at their home by asking their boys to not go out of the house at night unless necessary or if a girl is wearing a short dress and they can't have control over their desires it's their fault, not that girls. This issue has now become so usual, so common that it has now ceased to exist as a question 'Has any/a girl ever felt uncomfortable in public places? '
    Of course, EVERY Girl/Woman has felt uncomfortable and usually on a daily basis.
    It has become so so toxic that a statement like this is coming from a woman.

      Wanted to ask you something..
      Like if a women shoes her body excessively through clothing, which she has right to wear, does she contribute to objectification also along with that man who judges her or lusts after her ?

    • @ReallyWeCan
      @ReallyWeCan 3 месяца назад +1

      @@darkknight-yu8pqRight bro 👏

    • @12395g
      @12395g 3 месяца назад +6

      @@darkknight-yu8pq I understand where this question is coming from, but look, both men and women show their hands, legs, and face, right? Yet, we don't sexualize those parts. Why? because we've normalized them! Similarly, other body parts are also just NORMAL, so why sexualize them? That's the real question!
      People even sexualize someone wearing a burqa ( i.e a fully covered clothing). It's not about the clothes at this point. It's about the mindset. If a girl wears "revealing" clothes, they're only considered "revealing" by someone with a rotten mindset. You can just look at her with a normal perspective, right?
      This isn't directed at you personally, because I understand where you're coming from. I'm just respectfully clarifying that 'some' men seriously have a rotten mindset, so much so that they even get exicted by a schoolgirl in her uniform 💔 😔

    • @darkknight-yu8pq
      @darkknight-yu8pq 3 месяца назад +4

      @@12395g from what I've experienced, people get excited by anomaly.
      Like if a porshe is in between 200 normal cars, everybody will look at it.
      Now what you are saying is an ideal solution, but what to do in short term.
      Remember the society today craves sex scenes in movies, b grade movies, orchestra performance ( Bihar etc).
      Also your opinion seems to put blame entirely on men. Is it only men ?
      Yes men crave sex they force it. ( Rape). But when women crave sex they can't force it ( physically impossible - but in cases where they can, they do like young boys, etc..)
      Men must - change mindset, be understanding, etc
      But what about women ?
      The q asked to manu bhaker was by a women herself wasn't it ?

    • @darkknight-yu8pq
      @darkknight-yu8pq 3 месяца назад +1

      Also people do sexualise face and hands too (Arab societies.). We judge prettiness by face don't we ?
      Maybe it's normal for you for west, not so for conservative societies just like burqa is abnormality for them
