Great CAD work, you've been very thoughtful in all your choices. I think it's a good thing this is going to be a Sunday driver, though. Dropping straight down behind the battery has left you with a very small trunk.
Thank you! Small indeed! Just enough for a small cooler and some lawn chairs or a small duffel bag for some trips like Hot Rod Power Tour. Potentially a little secret compartment between the gas tank and trunk rear wall :)
Nice trunk so far ! I hope that in the end your final project will be to use Sundays only when there will be less traffic, not to be apocalyptic, but you surely do not want to have all your efforts destroyed because of a road hog.... 😖😫 loll Or I hope where you live is more country than city 😁
For sure a Sunday driver! It does cross my mind on occasion that one bad accident could spell the end of the whole project. My first car back when I was in high school was repainted and rust repaired with my dad. I had it on the road for 2 weeks and it got hailed on hard brand new beautiful paint job looked like a golf ball. Even though it was an old car at that point, the new paint job it just had must have swayed the insurance adjuster to not write the car off. So it got painted 2 times that summer! Hope I can have better luck with this car.
