Every single time, Nintendo releases, a brand new game. It just gets better and better and honestly after watching the direct earlier today this is going to be one of those classic games that it’s going to become nostalgic for us in the future, especially for the younger generation.

This is because Nintendo has a rule that they only make a new game if they have new ideas for it. Their games always feel fresh because of that. This is why they haven't made any new F-Zero games. They put all their racing ideas into the Mario Kart franchise lol

Based on what we’ve seen so far, no previous 2d Mario game will come even close to being able to compare. We’re entering a new era for Mario, and it’s a REALLY good one.
That's false, there have plenty of great 2d Mario games. A few examples are Super mario bros 3, super mario world and super mario bros DS.

Others are saying it too, but it's so incredible that I want to emphasize it. Mario, especially NSMB, was starting to become a series that we played and enjoyed, but there was never any huge anticipation, nothing truly standout about them. They were consistently decent games worth playing. Case in point, I heard rumors about a new 2D Mario before it was announced and figured "Oh, that would be nice." Nothing incredible, just another entry to play. But this game... there's something truly magical that Nintendo has crafted unlike anything we've seen in a very long time. We are in for a treat! I'm just as excited for this game as the inevitable next 3D Mario for the next Nintendo console.

I have every New Super Mario Bros game and I loved all of them, and after 11 years (not counting NSMBU Deluxe since it’s a remake), we finally get to witness a new beautiful 2D Mario game filled with amazing things. It’s a dream come true.

The game's not even out yet and this song has yet to fail putting a smile on my face every time I hear it. This is already an absolute classic and I can already tell how nostalgic this is going to be in the coming years.

I got so excited to find out that I'm able to fully listen to 2 of the most iconic OSTs in this game on the Japanese website. I can't wait to hear the rest of the songs, maybe once the game releases. This game's soundtrack will be one of the greatest of the year, and this song is obviously no exception. It's so soothing.

Man, after loving TO BITS Pizza Tower I was wondering if Nintendo was ever going to release at least another 2D Mario, PT filled that need for a good and polished 2D platformer, it was a love letter not only to Wario and Sonic fans but also towards Mario, these platformers gave so much inspiration because those old games where absolute gems.
But now after seeing the trailers for Wonder, it’s safe to say that Nintendo still got it, they’re THE KINGS of 2D platformers
