Are Israeli hospitals really overloaded with unvaccinated CO VID patients? According to Prof. Yaakov Jerris, director of Ichilov Hospital’s coronavirus ward, the situation is completely opposite.
“Right now, most of our severe cases are vaccinated,” Jerris told Channel 13 News. “They had at least three injections. Between seventy and eighty percent of the serious cases are vaccinated. So, the vaccine has no significance regarding severe illness, which is why just twenty to twenty-five percent of our patients are unv accinated.”

As for inciting violence, well, sure, it's not a nice thing to do but words do not force people to commit acts of violence, people do that of their own accord.
Allow free speech of any kind and prosecute physical violence of any kind, it's really very simple.

Advocating actual violence against individuals or a group of people is a no but the problem is that we have a 2 tiered system whereby it's overlooked when certain individuals and groups target a certain race or gender group e.g white straight men - all threats and abuse is wrong. So let's sort out everyone being held equally accountable first and the rest will sort itself out.

@@johnkline1790 yes I agree but the point is that unequal enforcement is the problem as it selective punishment and selective abuse is "ok" on social media and that is wrong. As you'd know Common Law is based on everyone is equal in the eyes of the Law & no one is above the Law. Since we have moved away from Law based on true equality and is based on protection of certain groups, all these problems have been created as that is not true equality.

"Where to draw the line" has long been decided. You can't incite a crime and you can't divulge information that is damaging to national security. Also, there are libel laws (much in need of financial reform) to enable responses to personal damage - and there is also free speech for the same purpose. I suppose there may be some scope for forbidding certain swear words in the interests of good taste, but that's as far as I'll go (if pushed). These people waffle a lot and don't seem to have thought much about it, which is a sad indictment of our awareness of our civil rights (and responsibilities).

Who's "we"? The government? If so, absolutely not. It is a matter for private platforms, and a matter for consumers of platforms to take it up with those companies. If they cannot get satisfaction then leave the platform. Other platforms in the marketplace will create what the market most demands.
The government's only moral role is through the police and broader security services when free speech can be demonstrated to be seen as a threat to life and/or private property.

Everyone should be allowed to express their opinions ( regardless of how extravagant they are). But what I have noticed that many people confuse lack of manners with free speech and I see this as a big problem, to be honest.

Trouble is, who decides what is ok and what is not. Our right to a free life and to choose what risk we wanted to take was taken away with the bug. It is the same with free speech. People are perfectly able to listen and assess and maybe respond if they dont agree.

The issue is who will be the controller of what is offensive or not.
Maybe we should be looking to reducing the cost of legal action to enable people who feel they have been affected by "free speech" and let a judge decide. At present only the wealthy can afford the luxury of speaking/defending free speech.

You should be able to say anything,if it upsets someone,so what!. Everyone should be able to say that what has happened to this country in the last 50 year's is the worst period of our history. And you should be allowed to say how you would like it fixed. And if it upsets the sensitive, good get a life.

Where the hell did they find the people who were asked. Pure garbage. It's about being controlled about what you can say. You conform too what certain sections of society think or you keep quiet. What is the matter with the people of this country that they can't see what is happening around them 🤔

Everyone should say anything at any time on any subject ,but they must stand or fall on the content ,we have courts to hold people responsible and it is not for the public to hold people accountable by cancelling them ,truth is relative to the viewers position ,and conflicting opinions do not make one person right and another wrong, both may be right ,both wrong ,according to the position of view

Think harder people... definition is important in law! There are probably some things people agree are really bad, "harmful"... so DEFINE them specifically!
Otherwise we are relying on a "benevolent" authority to judge "what's good for us"!
Interesting the choice of the word "harms" in the online harms bill.
One example might be scientific knowledge which is first denied, hated, ridiculed and called dangerous... then becomes widely acknowledged as really helpful fact.
Might authority keep these from us " for our benefit", to prevent harm?
    WHO should decide?
    Don't outsource your sensemaking.

If you want to regulate speech don't call it free speech, the main problem is how you have chosen to advertise it, some people would choose to eat all the free samples simply because that's what was advertised same with all you can eat, freedom, liberty and all the other delusional singular words or singular meaning phrases or quotes which people abuse because they by their isolated meaning have no regulation, you do this to yourselves always coming back to table of debate over this, you need to stop this behaviour immediately and accept practical regulation, the only reason speech would need to be unsystematically free would be so truth can formulate outside of the system If that system needs to be questioned beyond what it's aware of, it has no use for unproductive criminal behaviour, that kind of action though would or could be seen as criminal until clarity has conquered, those who wish to speak freely for no productive reason have no realistic voice in or outside any system.
