It's like finding jade I guess when I see a new episode only a few hours old ...absolutely my favourite show on utube...this family are resilient great to see them getting a win ....

Happy that they finally found some jade that will work for them. Given how incredibly rich that mountain is in it I'm amazed they didn't test it before now.
The only thing I don't fully understand is why they gave up on the other jade site when they had the lens basically revealed. Sure it might have been fractured and not great quality, but 3-5 more days and they could've extracted it and at least had SOMETHING and even if it was just a small centre of quality jade again, it's SOMETHING. They got INCREDIBLY lucky on the new site. If they hadn't I think they'd be deeply regretting leaving it as abruptly as they did.
So excited for next season.
They never planned on mining this season. They were focused on that quarry that the son started last season and moving camp. They couldnt stand watching him get jade, they were kicking them out so fast 😂😂😂

Are these people dumb? Its not safe to drag it down? Its your only chance to keep mining? Tie it on a long rope, chain, or lifting band and hook it behind the bulldozer? what the worst that can happen?

It’s not that easy, these rocks are heavier than you may think. And that’s the issue is the weight, the equipment may not pick it up, and they still have to get it on a bed of a truck to get it out of the mine. So there is more to it than just that, the road leading to the mine is like 60 miles of trail and straight mud and river crossings deep enough to sweep away four wheelers and trucks.. and really the issue is it’s on a steep hill and again they would have to drag this out on a slick road in the snow, that’s a heavy rock and it’s just not worth the risk to try and get it out in the snow.
8 tons is 16,000 lbs. once you get your salad to it. Who’s gonna life it. As for dragging it you risk breakage. Leave the mining to miners
