    I had pictures of the wrong person in the video so I had to make some corrections.
    Also, I never turn comments off to my videos. RUclips has been automatically turning comments off on a bunch of my videos and I keep having to go in and turn them back on. So if you watch a video and comments are off, they will eventually be back on.

      Unfortunately as a young man myself when you’re a teenager you know better than everyone else, and will just tell your mother what she wants to hear just to stop them getting on your back my and being annoying no matter how much they’re only doing it because they care my mum had no idea what I was upto when I went out just told her I was staying at a mates house she trusts to stop her worrying when I was getting smashed in a random field till god knows when in the morning. there was literally nothing she could’ve done, infact she did more than most to actually be interested in what her child was doing online which is rare and then surprisingly actually got the truth of who he speaks to aswell and then followed it up and got it checked out. not only could she not do any more she went way above and beyond for what the vast majority of parents do and yet had the most unfortunate outcome. Very sad coming from the perspective of someone who can relate to the son. in retrospect, I have no idea what I’d say to my young self to get myself to listen and tell the truth to a parent of what I was getting upto

    Hey UK here just to clarify once you are 18 in the UK you are considered an adult and often you can get housing free of charge from the government it’s called Housing Benefits (Government Assistance in the US) and Universal Credit (food stamps in America but it’s actual cash between £600 to £1,000 a month) if you are deemed to be homeless and not working - this is available to you from the age of 18 which is how Lewis was able to live on his own…. That's such a beneficial system for the lowest income living people because America doesn't have that at all right now. Unless you have kids and stuff the only help you get here is food stamps. We literally have such a huge homeless people problem and it's getting so out of hand... Then the people in charge are so callus about "helping poor people" that they just don't and then complain about that good people can't afford to keep up with inflation and housing and the balance between their income. It's honestly such a mess and I think our country would be so much better off if we could have a system like yours. The pricing here is like everything requires people to be financially well off or you will greatly struggle to be able to keep up with your bills each month.. my mom runs a local small business we have ran for 42 yrs and we are having to move because new people bought the building we are in and they have plans to renovate the entire place and so we are looking for a new location to move to and holy cow the rental climate is INSANE. It's so difficult to find a place currently. We will work it out. It's just really difficult here and I wish our country would help poorer people because it would enhance the entire country and society.

    • @banterbabe
      @banterbabe 2 года назад +20

      @@benmcreynolds8581 it is a beneficial system that I can agree however, the UK isn’t an easy place to live in while we may not have the same issues as the US we do have classism here meaning we all live together but there is a huge divide between the rich and the poor this country helps businesses and the rich if you are poor yes you get government assistance but you can’t climb the social ladder you are already placed at such a disadvantage that if you at at the bottom you will stay there our systems are designed so that you won’t be offered certain jobs if you live below the poverty line not to mention the racism and other ways im through which rich money just keeps flowing through the hands of the rich we also get free healthcare but our healthcare system is a mess footballers get paid more than those who save lives the waiting lists are long as hell and the staff are overworked and exhausted despite us having some of the best world class doctors in the world the government would rather poor money into sportsmanship the best place to live in Europe would be places like Switzerland or Sweden where you pay for services but they have a much more relaxed work life balance and other benefits that we don’t have over here… also the UK had to give back especially after world war 2 where they practically used the entire commonwealth to fight their wars if they weren’t going to give reprirations they had to give their own people plus those whose families fought for their country something so free help and medical services it was and it’s free money because the taxpayer pays for it and for the royal family the government when you work and pay taxes you pay to look after the poor and the extremely richest family in Europe who also have a known SA by the name of Andrew

    Funnily enough I was mates with this guy in college. We were in the same politics class. He told me he was Israeli and one of his nicknames in my group was 'Tel Aviv' (we all had crass names for one another). In our class he would always have his laptop out and would be gaming (playing World of Warcraft) and he showed me some of the coding projects he was working on. He was the only one who sat at the back of the class with his back and computer screen to the wall. One day he just vanished from college but nobody really questioned it (we never spoke to him outside of classes, lunch breaks or our field trips). Then a few months down the line, our politics teacher began the class by saying 'Do you remember Lewis who was always on his laptop?' and then pulled up a BBC news article about him being sentenced for murder. We were all quite shocked. Even though he was quiet and always on his laptop, he didn't seem like that sort of person. The only real notable thing he did was one day quickly pack up his things and run out of class saying no more than 'I need to go' and that was one of the last time we saw him. It's strange to think that if one of us had been a bit more of a friend to him and spoken to him outside of class then this may not have happened, or it could have been one of us killed instead. How very bizarre.

    In 1972, at the age of 52, my father was murdered by the Lennox Sheriffs of S. Calif. He was driving home from work one night. It was along a dark, rural road that his small car was sideswiped by a much larger vehicle, forcing my father's car off the road and into a power pole. My father sustained injuries to his liver, spleen and kidneys. Even so, he was able to pull himself from the wreck and stagger toward the road. Neighbors in the area reported the wreck. When the sheriffs got there, they "assumed" my father was drunk and began shoving him around. Without any kind of tests, they shoved him into their car and threw him to the drunk tank. When he tried to protest, they beat him severely with their sticks and left him bleeding and unattended on the floor of the cell. Only when he began to "bloat" (from the internal injuries) and turn yellow (ruptured spleen) did they call an ambulance. Despite all the identification in his wallet (plus over $300 that "disappeared") they NEVER call my mother. The doctors at the hospital were able to stabilize him long enough so he could call my mother. He died several hours later in surgery. My father was a respected member of our community, a pharmacist, a husband, a father of two, a WWII veteran (a Navy medic attached to a Marine unit). He supported various charities. And he was my dad.
    What happened to the sheriffs? Not a damn thing. My mother hired an investigator who did some digging. He told her "these guys are dirty". He then advised her to move me (16) and my sister (9) out of state because it was "going to get ugly". At 2 a.m. one morning, my mother got a phone call telling her she was "gonna get acid in her face" if she continued with the investigation. The caller also told her he knew where her kids went to school and if she wanted to see them alive she better drop the case. Terrified, she dropped the case. There was no investigation, the sheriff's department literally got away with murdering an innocent man-my father. These Gestapo thugs don't care who you are. And if you think there is "justice for all" in this country, I say BULLSHIT!!

    • @lawrencelopez9839
      @lawrencelopez9839 2 года назад

      they could but it opens up a can of worms. Like, how to prove age? Just checking I am 18+ doesn't work. They can request for an ID, but that means private companies now have a copy of your ID which can be exploited. They can sell it secretly to other companies or maybe get stolen by hackers. They could promise to delete and never keep your data after verification but that raises a question if they're lying. To protect children they could also monitor chats but that would mean everyone's giving up their privacy. And how will they monitor it? An AI can be circumvented and worked around, hiring people to monitor it is very exploitable and will subject poor humans to seeing boatloads of false positives (naked adults) and positive (children) which is a very uncomfortable job. Even if AI manages it that means it will have to save cp on their server as evidence. I agree with protecting kids but what's an effective way to do it?
