Kevin passed the laundry check, And even pulled off a lazer!
But clearly Russell was very disappointed to inform Kevin that he failed the locked closet test. He stayed on the "No." button for quite a while.
Kevin will need to train harder before his next tryout.

Russell is so freaking smart I swear he could be my cat's twin brother because my cat is exact same way in fact I just had an argument with my cat no I'm not freaking crazy he literally just screamed at me and smack his button to make me let him outside I kept telling him no it's raining so anyway finally I just let him out well they have a way of going through the basement through I don't know like a crawl space or something and he immediately goes and gets back in the house and comes right back and start smacking his outside button I think that my cat is trying to punk me I swear it looks like he's smiling

Kevin checked the washer, but didn't check the dryer. It was just good luck that no laundry was left in the dryer. That could have been frustrating. :)
I also love how he showed us Russell pawing under the washer. Russell must have lost a puffy or mousy under there, but didn't seem to mind not getting help to rescue it.

As I understand it, when Russel says "CLOSET" he means "Please unlock the closet door, so that we can retrieve our toys that slipped under it."
Yeah mousey or puffy are in the closet but Russell is still working on Kevin's training so he doesn't know.
At this point it might be warranted to put a brush strip under the closet door so that no toys can enter and hide there.
Some ppl get hounded about laundry by a girlfriend or wife. Kevin gets hounded about laundry by a talking cat 🤣🤣🤣.

Prey might come near, but the best part is when it goes "over there", or around corner, under door, up wall, etc. Much more enticing for a kitty. Makes them want to chase.

There were obviously puffies in the closet and under the washer that Russell wanted him to retrieve.
Why didn't he just open the closet to see what Russell needed? It must be frustrating for him to learn to communicate, then be ignored. I would worry that he would think that word doesn't work anymore and he'd stop using it. Then again, he might just assume the sitter isn't very smart.
