"Hello! Welcome to pet sitting at our house. A few ground rules to know: 1, when coming to the house be sure to bring laundry. Make sure to be timely when switching the laundry from the washer to the dryer; our talking cat is rather sensitive to chores being delayed. Also, our talking cat would also appreciate bubbles being blown, and ice cubes being presented to him for face-rubbing purposes. We hope you have a pleasant time! Thank you for your services!" ♡
My favorite part, too! My brother-in-law calls my cat "sir" and dotes on him completely ever since sweet Fletch went to stay with my sis & b-i-l. It's a comfort to know others will love your pets as much as you do.
I don’t know what’s more cute, Russell demanding the pet sitter do chores or the sheer fact that the pet sitter is kind enough to keep us in the loop even when you’re away. 💜
Excellent suggestion! Honestly, as someone who has taken care of my friends’ pets when they are away, this kind of manual is a great idea… especially with this particular feline lord in residence. 😂
"Listen to me, Mom: you have to trained them before hiring them. He didn't know what or where was the feather toy! He thought pets were play! And he refused to do laundry! Our way of living is in danger, Mom. In danger, I say!"
Poor Kevin, he probably thought no one would nag him about doing laundry again after he moved out of his parents house only for the CAT to start nagging him about it
This is why I always left detailed instructions for anyone taking care of my cats. Which cat preferred what toy, how to play w each cat (bc they were so different!), length of play, best way to get snuggles, how to prepare each cat's food (bc, of course, they had different needs and preferences), how to keep one from getting all the food, where to find each cat if they didn't make an appearance after 20mins, etc. Thankfully, the regular catsitter understood the peculiar requirements for Fletch and Celia & truly appreciated the instructions, which is exactly why he was the only person allowed to look after the fuzzy duo. (I considered it a major triumph that I didn't use a color coded 3-ring binder for the care & feeding of my babies bc that's something I would have totally done back when I was a nurse. I learned to let go of absolute control & organization after I was injured.)
@@catmanjohn_ I would. Most definitely. He's such a smart & clever boy, he pretty much does require a full binder of instructions. His desire to communicate is extraordinary and he deserves to be understood, whether by you or Kevin or anyone else. Russell is a remarkable being. I feel like he's going to one day pull a Good Will Hunting math solution out of his ear one day and that will absolutely require humans capable of understanding him. So, yes, a binder!
I love Russ, and these are very entertaining but Russell is the very reason I'd never teach my cats to talk with buttons. My cats already manipulate the he'll outta me. Lol!
Uhhhggg!! He's stepping over i... "Kevin!! Now your squatting beside it!!! " ahhhhhhgggģ, drama, the frustration!! It's enough to make one wish they could go through the screen and offer assistance 😆
Russell is so dang adorable! I had an orange and white kitty named Carl and he was a sweetheart from the time he showed up at my house as a kitten. We were lucky enough to have had him 17 years. I love watching Russell and the shyer kitties you have.
Ok, everybody ante up. Whoever correctly guesses how many sitters we go through before someone notices them missing, gets the kitty.(accidental pun. but still 😂)
I am on the floor too! 🐈 Russell definitely needs a manual for cat sitter. Too funny and comments are great. I was laughing at comment, my two kitties were not sure what was happening. If they only knew, may be someday my fur babies will use buttons.🐾💕
I love that you showed us that there was laundry left in the wash and that Russell was calling it litter trying to get a different reaction! 😹😹 he is so darn smart!!!
Initially I thought it was just those litter pans but we actually left laundry by accident before we left! So I think they were unrelated to each other 🤷🏼♀️
At this moment I think Russel pressed on laundry button was actually not talking about the clothes, perhaps, the King meant his new servant needs a (brain) laundry as if reset/factory setting button for setting up a new device 🤣
I used to tie my Christmas tree up to the front door, which we didn’t use, otherwise when the cats climbed it they would bring it down; even with an extremely heavy cast iron tree stand. Your babies are much better behaved than mine are! Lol 😂 🎄🎄💥💥
Oh, Russell! He just can’t stand to have anything out of place, can he? Just curious, what do you use the disposable boxes for if you have the fancy robot? Or is that for when it breaks down?
I typically fill them when we go on vacation *just in case*!!! I like to have that security over technology. We’ve never had an issue but I’m a planner! I actually intended to but I forgot and I think Russell was yelling at kevin about that 😹
I know I mentioned in a previous video that I have started to use the vocal commands before I get the buttons I am proud to announce that he has picked up on the vocal of things and made his own different chirping noises for things now I don't know it's very weird it's like a chirping meow whatever he's doing he looks you straight in the eye and you are expected to understand what he's saying
Anna, do you know how to teach your pet sitter how to sit for your kitties? I’m a retired tutor and cat lover. I occasionally do pet sitting. Maybe the pet sitter could watch your videos to learn how to figure out what Russell wants and how to play with the specific toys (see part 2). Or that a different toy can fill in for the feather toy. Please set him up for a win, thank you.
I left detailed written instructions for my babysitters so they would know what different babbles and ASL Signs meant. My babies are actual humans, though.
They do have may times our snesne of smell o d bet the dirty clothes smells up the whole house for them lol. Makes ut all stink. Imagine. He s not the fireat talking kitty I've seen who obsessed on making sure laundry and litter are always done. Oh and he s beautiful sir I love his pattern and orange males are the sweetest. They have a whole personality thing unique to orange kitties. ❤

🤣😂🤣 A pet sitter nightmare, a cat who can talk. Laundry, laundry, laundry lol. Hysterical!
Right!? Most pet sitters would be like “I’m out! Byyyye!” 😂😂😂 Kevin is such a patient guy!
🤣😂🤣😂
If it were me I think I'd be laughing a confused and disterbed laugh and just back away to the door, these cats know our weakness!
I think Russell broke Kevin.
You dont wanna play feathertoy ?! Then laundry, laundry, laundry 😂😂😂
He knows how to push Kevin's button 😏😂
Not saying Russel rules over the house, but when your sitter has to call him sir...
I loved that he called him sir 😹
My favorite part, too!
My brother-in-law calls my cat "sir" and dotes on him completely ever since sweet Fletch went to stay with my sis & b-i-l. It's a comfort to know others will love your pets as much as you do.
Hilarious!
if Kevin wants to live he has to call him sir, I thought it was obvious
I don’t know what’s more cute, Russell demanding the pet sitter do chores or the sheer fact that the pet sitter is kind enough to keep us in the loop even when you’re away. 💜
King Russel: CHORES PEASANT
Poor Kevin just trying his best: I'm headed straight for the floor 😭😭
you need to give Kevin and others a manual to explain what each toy name is referring to.
that's what I thought! "The Great Book of Toys" witch pictures and description how to play :D
The videos kinda are like a manual 🤷🏼♀️
@@michellesmith702 yeah, but that assumes you've watched them.
@@reynavaldez13 This is basically what I came here to comment too!😹😹 Some kinda guidebook with names and pictures needed, or something; FOR SURE. 🤣

“….I’m not doin the laundry!!” 😂🤣🤣🤣
I laughed so hard when Kevin said “I’ll change the litter but I’m NOT doing laundry.” 😂🤣. The struggle is real for Russ’s cat sitters 😂😂
Poor Kevin, he probably thought no one would nag him about doing laundry again after he moved out of his parents house only for the CAT to start nagging him about it
I love how Russell just kept hitting laundry over and over again
Poor Kevin. Why can’t he just call you and ask where the father toy is? The laundry button is gonna drive the poor man insane. 🤣🤪
You are in charge when moms gone huh Russ👍🏻😁🦊❤️
He's in charge when mom's home too! 😂
Kevin counting the babies at the start 😭 Wholesome
"Why are you even here Kevin if you're not going to take care of business?!" 😂

There is that "joke", that I've heard parents make about regretting teaching their kid to talk, lol

King Russel is being super patient with his new servant 😂
🤣🤣🤣 just feather the cat! And clean his litter slave boy! If he were Billi he be MAD MAD MAD about the misunderstanding.
love the way he goes "hello babies. we have one baby, two babies..."
russell’s like: ugh this useless human…cant even find a toy jeez 🙄
audience: we love how the cat is smarter than the human :)
Kevin is a trooper. Poor guy, he might have some PTSD from Russell demanding he do laundry.

Poor Kevin 😅 We love you too, Kevin!😄
I'm a complete slob, and my cat is very tolerant of it. In fact, he will sleep very happily ON my dirty laundry. "Outside" would be his go-to button.
🤣 Russell: Kevin!!!
Hilarious bc it sounded like that and, knowing Russ, he probably did say it.
Well least it's not a cat conspiracy to make Kevin into laundry.....right?
...

Right?!
Kevin is AWESOME!!🥰 Blair witch vibes at the end. 😂
All I can say is Kevin is a GOOD friend. lol
“I’m gonna lose it.”
yeah your head if you don’t find the feather toy
When you have a babysitter and give them a list of things to do ... only Its Russel
What is the night time situation? I would think my cat, a typical night owl, would be punching buttons all night.
I think kevin need to watch & learn russ video, or he will get chopped & hide in the closet like dylan 🤣🤣
Oh mg GOD!!
The come back is way better!
Thanks, Kevin for making my day 🤣! 🙌🏼
Aw Kevin you are a top shelf pet sitter!! ❤️❤️❤️
Kevin should get a treat.
This is my favorite video so far, poor Kevin but Russell is a magnanimous king

Poor Kevin haha 😄
Hahahaha!!! The ending 🤣😂😍
Oh please go away from home as often as possible. I love the torture that Kevin endures! 😈
Be patient Russ, it takes time for humans to learn new things! LOL

I hope the pay the petsitter really well! He keeps up social media And gets billed by the cat!
Such a lil Mr Bossy Booty 😂 He’s so smart and there all so cute 🥰
Russell is so patient.
they must think kevin is not the brightest when he doesn't understand the buttons lmaoo
Maybe a photo guide of the toys would help? 😅
The ‘Rent a Peasant’ will never be the same…. Russell put him through the ringer…. scarred him for life!🤣🤣
If the other cat's can't talk, you re the human who can't understand.
They way he calls them babies 🥺🥺🥺
So hilarious!!!
HAHAHA oh Russell.
He’s like Hannah come get me 🥲😭
You just know he's thinking, "Ah, a new slave to to train. My standards must be met ".😁
Also do you think Kevin’s nightmares are Russ hitting the laundry button x 282 times 💀
Can he not just ask "Where Feather Toy?" or do you not have a "where" button yet?
I don’t have a where but I need one!
@@catmanjohn_ Russell understands "show me," though, doesn't he?
Liked before the ad even ended. 😊
poor Kevin XD
So what was the correct solution to the "laundry litter" case? Was it left in the dryer or a random boxes were misplaced in the laundry room?
I think it was random things Russell considered trash or to be in the wrong place

I wanna try this out with my dog.. But I'm worried I'll be stuck giving belly rubs and coconuts
