I know! I watched this scene with my mom and when Elaine looks all sad and says she ‘can’t do this’ I looked at my mom like, “I’m sorry, is this an actual romantic emotional moment??’ I always liked these two together!
From what I recall Jerry and Elaine ceased being a couple after this episode, with zero explanation. It's like this whole situation never existed. Larry David prioritized being funny over plot consistency.
The only reference was in the next season, “The Pen” when they go to Florida and Jerry tells his parents that they’ve ’tried all sorts of arrangements, but just can’t seem to be friends and sleep together at the same time’
Eh - this version of the show wasn't so exciting, when they started hitting their sweet spot was around season 4 or 5 and the stories were a lot more interesting.
I mever understood why this show was called the show about nothing they capitalize on it. Lile oh quirky its amazing because its ABOUT NOTHING. Lile wth are you talking about its about a group of friends living in NY. JUST LIKE FRIENDS. Otherwise, THAT show should be about nothing. And so should king of queens. So should every sitcom that takes place in NY
It doesn't mean literally nothing, it's means more like small, trivial things. They have to make it about something of course or else nobody would watch it. 😂
@@jason854656the purpose of marketing is to be memorable, and for Seinfeld, ‘a show about nothing’ worked. It doesn’t literally mean nothing…it was meant in contrast to earlier sitcoms that developed characters over time and could have season-long story arcs.
Puddy got the this and that without the other.
Yea, that’s right
the "next" guy should never have to pay the same high price that his predecessor did.....
hahaha
@@restitutionradio4786why not? Who made this rule?
Bc Elaine legit doesn't gaf about puddy
The original “ situationship”
A great word. Situationship is a real Seinfeld word for an understanding of this and that and the other.
George is always thinking about bathrooms and toilets.
He knows the best in nyc
Alice Tully Hall, The Met- magnificent facilities
"breakup by association"
That arrangement never works🤣💯👍
It does for a while... until it doesn't lol
"I know less about women...than anyone in the world. But one thing I do know is they're not happy if you don't spend the night."
That's a fact
Kramer got away with not spending the night. Of course, his girl had the Jimmie leg, so he had a good reason to leave.
i like how the roommate makes everything awkward
Tina. 👩🦰
I'm your pal !
Jerry: and more
😂
I always wished they would have stayed together
Then miss out on Puddy?
Elaine looking damn fine in that first scene
When doesn't she?
if she just had a bigger rackm shed be a certified dime
That last scene, too. Sweet Christmas, there is wearing your shirt, and then there is "Kramer, the sock is going on the door now."
She does but she has TDS
Gotta love this show. This deal would never work.
Puddy and Elaine makes Elaine and Jerry seem simple in comparison
Puddy was too dumb, she had an IQ of 146
Hey, who took my cake?
Keith Hernandez
Elaine wants this, that and the other... and who can blame her really...😮
She’s totally to blame! She was the one that originally wanted the friends with benefits arrangement.
Was this the only even slightly “serious” moment in Seinfeld? It felt so weird, Elaine is so cute though. Love her in the early seasons

@@deedevon7468 SAMEEEE the writers are awful for dangling them in front of us the whole series 😭
Puuuddy is iconic...
Oh, those good ol days of early Seinfeld...
4:21 hey Kramer my man it’s Tuesday may 21 2024 so good 😊 to see you
Yeah, they were relatively down to earth early on and just got crazier, in a good way. 😂
The actor " Tina" is fabulous!
Yep. She’s the perfect annoying roommate. 😂
Terrific! Love this TV show
I like the offbeat roommate. 😄
so did Kramer
She always played that weird character in whatever show or movie she was in. 😂
All the redheads in Seinfeld were weird for some reason (Tina, Toby, Sally Weaver).
Sometimes just friends is best.
I thought this was Seinfeld!
Everyone is so mellow here
Awesome show 👍🏻
Elaine wanted to cuddle in the first scene so bad she destroyed a baby tree lmao.
elaine pulling the paper towel = angry mode at 0:25 LOL
break up by association 😂
That roommate needed her own show. She fascinates me.
No the this, no the that....
George: I'd have to wear that really heavy denim...
what's Elaine going to do with all those paper towels?
I wonder too
Lol maybe she wanted to wipe after.. or she was anxious an her hands needed something to do.
Probably a little of this, that and the other.
The look on Julia's face in the thumbnail is hilarious
Forrest Gump’s Bus Driver!
Dorothy Harris had to learn to live with it either way.
Elaine: Pal? You think I'm your PAL?
Jerry: ....and more
I feel Elaine's pain 💔 😞
Why is everyone so down on pal?
I wish I could stay friends with my ex’s 😂
Tina reminds me of Gail the Snail
i never noticed it before but that's good foreshadowing
the prison talk? I waas looking for this comment
@@MrBmick79 which prison talk? They had a few referential moments in there
I don't know why Jerry didn't want to stay that night . How could you walk out on her while she's wearing that red gown!!
They already dated and Jerry is not an inceI, he doesn't see Elaine like an inceI does.
I love you Jerry
It's complicated
I love them together!
Funny 😅 episode
Elaine was sweeter in the early episodes. I find her more likeable.
They were all a lot more chill.

Kramer saw Elaine naked in her apartment..
I have always wondered how Seinfeld survived being un-funny....

And …THE Other
😂
Ah yes, the normalization of fornication back in the 90s..
Will Seinfeld work in 2024,hmmmmmmm,not
Dis supposed 2 b funny?
Growing up I thought this was a show about white people. It wasn't until recently that I realised most of the cast are actually middle eastern.
Is that a new label for Jewish?
Not so much to laugh on this one.
I wonder why Elene took so much of the paper towels
To dry her tears
I know she's just playing a role, but i hate that Tina person....she is so annoying! 😠
