- The USC recruiting class grew in number and size when massive offensive line prospect Elijah Vaikona made his commitment to the Trojans. In the show's 1st segment, I break down what Josh Henson will be working with when he arrives on campus. The Trojans are now up to 13 commitments and they might not be done for the week. I explain in more detail.
The Trojans defensive line has plenty of depth. The room is deep with 19 players who can play either inside or on the outside. I explain what Coach Henderson and Nua need the most from their 3-deep depth chart.
In the final segment, I explain my vision for a better USC football gameday. But I need Jen Cohen to give me an open checkbook.

Great tailgate ideas! That’s one thing that was lacking when we traveled west for games. As a Midwest family I could feel the difference. It was still fun but was very different.
Marc I agree with your three deep except I have Clifton with the ones and Pepe with the 2s. His quickness and grown man strength will free up Bear to wreck shop. Clinton's four years of SEC battles and experience will help get USC the win in Vegas. The land bridge is a GREAT IDEA but it needs to wide enough to handle large crowds.
I could care less about stars. What interests me is in seeing people grow and achieve. Think about it . Who would you rather spend time with , a kid with a good attitude , someone they put the label on he has great potential or some kid demanding money at 16 years old whose biggest achievement was he was or is great in high school. ?
I'm LR I surround myself with kids who have great attitudes .

Marc, appreciate the review of the Dline and the thought it generated is that this staff has got to be able to develop one of those 18 players into a second 'hole stuffer' big body. Also your segment on tailgating should include a discussion of what goes on in the stadium......the spell out and other traditions that have fallen by the way side should back in favor of the blaring DJ

Now we have to charter a bigger plane with Vaikona. Fight On and welcome to the family Elijiah! We will get you ready for the big leagues bro. Great to have the Poly pipeline healthy again. I have always liked a 3-4 if you have the LB studs and the guys with fingers in the dirt to make it work. Best way to keep the play in front of you and contain the run. Force them to pass against our lock down corners and a stud rover back or fast nickel. I am not at all happy with what Haden did to our game day enjoyment. I use to love walking around from our base at the TFAC tailgate. We had an RV which is no longer allowed, and used to enjoy going to the lawn by the museum and the gravel side street making our rounds. Have you seen the old early 70's Mercedes limos in cardinal with the picnic displays? That was tradition. PS we miss the garage sale! You telling me there's no more kicking the flag pole? FIGHT ON everyone and let's bring SC Football back!
Sorry I’m still not seeing usc defeat it’s real competition in head to head battles-get back to me when we win an OL or dl battle with Oregon, ala,ga, Ohio state. They don’t need to ‘fill needs’ with three stars. When is the last time a three star OL or do recruit made any noise at usc after only a year? We need guys who can play serious pt within 15 months.

I think Michigan will be good this season, but except for a few very good defensive players, they lost almost all of last years starters to the NFL or graduation. They may be given more hype than they merit. If we keep our starters healthy when we face them, I like our chances. FTFO

The only thing about this recruit. If you look at his other visits (other than UW) it was okay.
If Kobe Pepe is starting on the D Line, that is a cause for concern.
The UCLA coaches were able to raise Kobe’s play and game to a high level…guess who’s coaching him still? He’s good at 1, Marc senses the same thing I do
Last time USC had a 6'8" 350lb O-lineman he ended up transferring to Jackson State. 😂
