I think this is one of the most beautiful directed anime episodes I’ve seen in a while. The way they show geto’s gradual descent to evil is terrifying and extremely sad at the same time
Agreed
Strong agree
honestly this episode has made Geto my favorite character..
i don't know why.. i just relate a lot to him :)
I don't he was evil he just went mad especially after seeing those two girls his despise he just lost it
I love when authors do this to their characters, when they actually show us the actual process of how the character changes but this one hits different. Probably because it is really is different from the most ones I've read. This is not the typical character became a villain because they were mistreated.
Like with Geto's mental journey, we were shown what was really going on in his mind, from how troubled he was to coming up with the decision to eliminate those "monkeys". It's scary and sad at the same time.
This is sad af but at least I finally saw the shower scene get animated.
Too bad he said damn monkeys instead of fucking monkeys it would of added more weight
Non Manga person here, but who’d thought the person that trained todo would be the person that inspired geto
Yuki tsukumo?

If i need to eat Rags who used to clean shit or Vomit like everyday, of course, i'm gonna be a Villain to, give this guy a steak for God sake
Wish he would've just decided to stop his work instead. But I guess that never was a real option for him.
he has been doing that since beginning and just complaining after riko's death...like what the hell? why not become villain right after his first absorbed cursed spirit???
0:21 Shirtless kylo ren ptsd flashbacks
I like what they did with the train scene. Reminds me of horror anime games
gojo has something to be blamed here. as geto's best friend, he should had talked geto more rather and checked on him. maybe he would not encounter the other special grade sorcerer and give an idea. atleast gojo could give him pep talk, rather than focusing on himself more. he noticed distress signal of geto that he lost weight. because he was depressed and lost
So was Gojo. It's not on him at all.
Yeah, Gojo just care about his powers and don help Getou :( he was his best friend and he was not here whe he need him
@@IWonder-ko8bc The system kept them apart. It is the problem
"Exorcise, absorb."
"Argue. Slide."
“Smash, Pass”
1:13 empty & sad
I know what emptiness and loneliness look like. In the end all those feelings you keep inside drive you to madness and consume you.
I'm sure you do
Geto is sephiroth 2.0
Not lying
Now that kind of ironic when his Japanese v.a is cloud from final fantasy vii..... Whick make cloud agree with Sephiroth's idea about humanity
He's lonely 😔
Simply said….. his peers and bestfriend failed him
If Gojo didn't become a god everything would've stayed normal
People commenting about Gojo's not being there but honestly.. if you have mental health problems.. you'll so absorbed in your own reallity you do not care who is there anyway.. and he is not only depressed here because depression does not make you a murderer or anyrhing like that..
However.. he should not meet those people who put those crazy ideas into his head at his lowest.. not that he did not hate "normal people"..
My baby was mentally tired, I totally understand and don't judge his actions anyone would decide or either kill himself or follow the path he did anyone who cleary knows he has powers, similar to light Yagami wishing to terminate the evil in this 🌎. I love Geto all the way and he deserved better, I think this shows how many people struggle with their minds his character is the best example, is sad he die he was and will be the best one ❤❤

i like his voice..
Yuki said cursed spirits don’t come from sorcerers, but didn’t yuta create rika from his shame/dread of her dying?
Rika is a VERY special case that has influence on both her and Yuta’s upbringing.
She meant on accident. Sorcerers can intentionally create / become cursed spirits. Normal people generate them automatically.
It was because at the time Yuta didn't know he had cursed energy or anything about Jujutsu. Like Yuki said anyone who can't control their cursed energy creates cursed spirits.
This was t on prime videos
Can you please somehow make it without the captions?
...
but but Gege can’t write!!!
@tuulenkotihis writings goated yall JS don’t like characters dying
@tuulenkoti real
I don’t necessarily understand the fixation on trying to create a new world where x doesn’t exist. I understand the descent to madness but the god complex trope is overdone.
his mind was fucked in every way. yuki just pushed him to hate non sorcerers. he just wanted to save his comrades of course, but his methods werent so good
but a world where non sorcerers dont exist, there will be no curses, therefore, he thought that destroying the only way for curses to spawn, he would prevent more sorcerer deaths
It's not overdone you just need to look away from your screen for 5 seconds and touch grass
