- Hey guys, and welcome back to a brand new video. Now I have an idea for quite a while, wouldnt it be fun to go around gilenor and give some money to Legitimate f2p noobs.
Now its going to be hard to find legit free to play players, as there are normally a lot of bots and gold farmers. I am going to split up the 100m between a bunch of different players. The plan is to give them 5m each, as this would be enough to buy a bond if they wanted. I remember this happened to me back in 2007 and it really stuck with me. So hopefully I can find some legitamate new players to reward!

Im always a little conflicted on stuff like this. Giving new players a lot of money and letting them buy basically anything they want in f2p would kind of destroy any cash based goals that they have and they might get burnt out and quit.
I think f2p will get burned out doing f2p money making against all the bots to fulfill any cash based goals.
Money isnt main goal for many new players..besides if they go member they will spend that money very fust by buying dragon and bursting castle wars or some other crazy stuff :D
My main aim doing anything was to get money, then I got 4 berserker rings on my first dagannoth task and I suddenly had to actually think about what I was gonna do, having even just a little extra money feels so weird

@@Anderhils Money is literally the only goal for most new players because they want to buy a bond to feel like they can actually play the game, but with the ammount of time it takes to get the money for just one bond is insane.

I do this a lot in F2P and in Members.
Mainly with bonds though. I buy like 15-20 and just make some games out of it.
Like a quick hide and seek, first one to find me will get a bond or something.
Its fun, and people seem to love it!

I love videos like this! I hold a very fond memory of me training my combat stats on the Al-Kharid warriors and I got into a conversation with a HCIM and I told him I was new to osrs but I used to play back in 2010. He hopped on his main and gifted me a bond and 10m. Im still extremely grateful. I still have him added he just hasn't logged in in over a year.

man this vid gives me so much nostalgia... I had a friend that i had added probably 10 years ago, turned out to be a really good guy and helped me learn the game when i was a kid, he was a bit older and still enjoyed the game. i gave this guy my bank on rs3 when osrs came out, which at the time was around 60m but i was honestly impressed by it lol... kinda lost contact since then due to game versions (he stuck with rs3) but i often think about that friend, and hope hes doing alright :P
Being a legit f2p is a hard grind. I've been f2p since I started playing years ago. Never have evolved. Mr. OldSchool just helped a lot of people in crazy ways. Even 1 mil can help us f2p in such a large way
I'm usually a member player but I gave all my stuff away and quit playing for a few months due to life and now I'm back on f2p building my way to a bond. I didn't realize how hard it is to grind gp on f2p.

Wow I actually used to do this about a year ago I would go searching f2p worlds to find real players grinding and would hook them up with a bond and some gear and teach them how to play on mems
Nice video man I remember the first time i had someone give me a lot of gp for free on here it was like 200k but was in like 2007 I was so happy. It's funny though how many people are upset about calling Elvarg, Vorkath lol but great video and great video's in general thx

This is so wholesome, I'm like a newbie and I'm trying to get all my 99 in f2p. My friend that introduced me to it thinks I'm crazy lol but I like a challenge 😼✨
You're going to burn yourself out. Get 40's in all combat stats and then you should buy membership. Getting a 99 with membership is hard, f2p would be torture. FYI you're not even halfway towards the 13 mil xp needed for 99 until level 92. Getting money on f2p is also 10x harder than with membership.
@@IAmAlteringTheDeal I'm already 50 on all my skills, I know about the xp needed from 92 to 99 but maybe because it's the only game I play I just take it slow. I work on my computer all day so I just split the screen and do some levelling up while working or watching shows/movies and tbh I haven't noticed it.
I just haven't played games before this and I kinda enjoy feeling satisfied and just doing everything step by step, if that makes sense.
But if I even feel that way, I'll take your advice!
@@sunnyflow3r It's very easy to put several hundreds to maybe even a couple thousand hours in this game. I'd really recommend membership.
You're doing something like being thankful that you're indoors when it's really hot outside, but don't want to turn the AC on because it's already slightly better then being in the direct sun. Honestly, even if you make a second account for members and keep doing ur f2p grind on that one I'd really recommend getting the full experience.
Aww man this happened to me literally just a few days ago! I was so apprehensive and concerned that about a stranger giving me large amounts of money that, as soon as he gave me the money, I logged out.for the rest of the day😂 looking back now in retrospect, I feel like a dick!😂
When I quit, I went through giving away all my cash to friends and noobs. I hop on from time to time, and it’s amazing how many people remember me giving them 10m or so. One person actually tried to give me like 200m as he had become rich (this was 2 years or so ago). I didn’t take it because I don’t have time to play much anymore. But still Feelsgoodman
I remember when I was starting old school in 2014. I was killing rock crabs and some guy just traded me a full rune set and some cash, it was amazing and got me motivated. I barely had any gp at the time.

Ayy those things are so fun to do! Had a f2p joining my fc in rs3 which is for fishing things. He was asking questions for what he could do there when he became a member as he was now grinding for bond. I gave him one. He was happy I was more happy :D
Legit just did this with 240m, great to see people helping. The only problem is when they add you and ask for more rofl. Great vid man. Ide love to donate some GP for you t ok give away!

I bought ny first bond and was able to make ebough gp for a bond. Kinda stagnated in gp untill my membership skill got higher but it can pay for itself.

Should just give bonds. Giving gold ruins the early-game fun, especially for new players.

@@75atkboi6 Then they would need to make it trade-able again, which costs them 430k rn. Most new players don't even have that money OR know that it is even possible to make it trade-able again.
Let noobs be noobs. Nothing more fun than experiencing everything from scratch. Earning your first 100k, your first mill, etc. No fun in receiving it all. But I wouldn't mind some free membership as a noob/starter.

STORY TIME!
I've been playing rs since early 2007. Never had a membership, never botted, didn't use the ge (it wasn't there yet), straight up grinded trading people and shops. So of course my old main transferred on the new rs when it came out and I hated it (I like old school rs). So I pretty much abandoned that account and made a new one so I could again play my beloved old school. A few months ago I was grinding my way back up on hill giants and some random guy comes down there and asks, "Are there any real players here or are there just bots?" I replied, "I'm real." He then says, "Wait here." I said, "ok." A couple minutes later he returns and shoots me a trade offer...It's a members bond! We both accepted and I was so happy and thankful! I then see him shortly after at the ge and I thanked him again. He sends another trade offer and gives me 500k! Since then I have maintained a membership and can't see myself going back to f2p...I had no clue what I was missing this whole time! Thanks again if you're reading this! :)

Animation smoothing plugin on rl i used it was fun at first weird tho after a while
What i did was buy gilded platebodies and place them on tables at random locations and waiting nearly 10 minutes to see if someone gonna pick it up. It was really fun.
Not gonna lie, this shit is so fun to do. I love giving free trimmed sets out to f2p kids, or sometimes I will sit at barb fishing spot and offer to buy "a fresh cooked trout" for 100k and hop worlds and repeat.

I remember getting 1 cooked lobster and 1 mithril chainbody back in late 2003. Was hyped messaging the mate that brought me to the game about what I had received. He sold the chainbody and bought an addy skirt in al kharid for me. No clue why because I couldnt even wield it yet
Well thanks for helping the f2p folks. I played between 2001 and 2006 and 95% of that time was on f2p. Now I'm back since mobile came out and I'm remembering how hard the f2p life is lol.

@@thelobsterclan6299 Umm, no? lol Gold has very little value in the first place because it is super easy to get loads of it in members. Pretty much everything in the runescape econony revolves around how useful it is in the members servers and yet most of that is only benefical to members. That is why it is extremely hard to make any kind of decent money in f2p, because members hold all the gold and don't care about f2p content.
Someone walked up to me and traded 1mil gp. I'm still a noob but thanks to that guy my f2p level is 605 and I still have 600k of it. That was a game changer
You should make a video on the F2P locked community and F2P highscores to bring more awareness to it

It's not much, but when I first started playing I was busy slaughtering cows for their skin and had a skills necklace on. Someone running past the field stopped, ran back and gave me an amulet of glory and some decent advice. Goes to show that not all the rs community is toxic.

When you've been slaving away for half a year. And a person gets double your bank worth within a second. Very generous of you though, whenever I meet a new player I befriend, I tend to give them 50-100k which isn't much for you but quite a bit for me :D

I do this once a week but through a 20-30 minute trivia contest and the winner with most correct questions get a bond :).

If they're a hardcore I don't think they are new players but have played before or are adept at the game.

Making 3m in a month as a brand new player in f2p, and without even using any money makers, is really impressive. Keep up the good pace and you'll be out of f2p in no time

I feel the same way about this as I do people saving a chipmunk from a snake. is it nice to see? Yes. Is it beneficial for the ecosystem? Idk, but I know that chipmunks gotta learn to fend for himself or it’s gonna lose its gp to a money doubler.
