I did this the other day, replacement keyboard was about 30€ on eBay, even cheaper on AliExpress. Took about an hour as you have to remove like 50 plastic rivets or so. Instead of keeping the plastic bits, I used hot glue to fix the keyboard back in place. Would not buy a Lenovo laptop again after this, don't know why they made it so complicated to repair.
I have the same laptop. My son broke the spacebar, bought a replacement keyboard for 10$ but after seeing this video on how complicated the replacement process is, I simply pulled off the spacebar from new keyboard and replaced it with the broken one on my laptop. 5 Minutes job done. Works fine. Note to self: Don't buy Lenovo ever again.
Hi! I have an ideapad 330s (15IKB) with a US keyboard. I have to replace it because some keys do not work anymore. I would like to replace it but with a spanish keyboard, is that possible? Some sellers have the full case keyboard + pad replacement. Do you know if that full case with spanish keyboard will work for my machine? I really appreciate any help you can provide!
Hello sir. There is a way to test if the keyboard is not leaving the pc turning on? It starts to show rare things as Windows message for accesibility (like many presses over shitf key). Now i can not start it. I thing that keyboard can be the problem but I need to test it before do the change. Thanks in advance.

I have a question... My laptop wasn't turning on when clicking on power button ..so i opened the laptop and if i remove the keyboard connection from motherboard it starts normally but if connect the keyboard pin again to laptop it turns off..does this mean my keyboard is not working? Plz help.
Hi, I spilled tea on my keyboard and the "1" key seems stuck but only when I just turn on the laptop. After a few minutes it stops working. The rest of the keys work fine. Can I change or fix just that key?
Lenovo guys think before designing laptops 😫😫😫😫, I have the same laptop and keyboard stopped working just a fews days ago.....searched a tonn of videos to find a easier way to do the replacement...but to my utter dissapoinment I am left with no other but the harsh truth that this is the only way to do this...and doing this is no easy 😒😒😒😒😒😒
damn this looks hard af.... most laptops you can replace the keyboard easily but not this one! if your keyboard breaks you are fucked up or you have to use a USB keyboard

maybe there's shorted on your keyboard sir, you can check it to your pro technician for assurance

My laptop doesn't work with the "J" key. Even when a USB keyboard is connected. Will I have to replace the entire laptop keyboard?
