I don’t find Dorit long winded at all. I think her stories are fascinating and she’s articulate, intelligent and speaks so well! .. I guess if you’re surrounded by narcissists who all want ‘air time’ they’re going to want you to shut up so they can talk.. how they all speak down to her is so dismissive. Also having PTSD myself, I can totally relate to all the changes and emotions Dorit went through on the show. PK minimizing and not being supportive on the show really disheartened me. I recently read "House of Hilton". The first half is all about Kyles' mom (a real piece of work) and her sisters. It will make you look at Kyle in a whole new light. Her mom was evil.
I don't have to watch a special to figure out their mother was a true narcissist & damaged all her girls. It does not however excuse Kyle behavior. It's always Kyle who is on the outs with her sisters. Never Kim vs Kyle & Kathy or Kathy vs Kyle & Kim. The common denominator is Always Kyle even with the friends on the shoe. She's learned as an actress, how to make her voice sound like she's on the verge of crying. She can do the raspy voice on command 😢

Since 2 days it’s haunting me. Kyle said Dorit is exaggerating their friendship on the show. That means Dorit values the friendship more than Kyle. I feel so sad for Dorit bc no friend should ever say that, EVER!
But Dorite kisses her ass cuz she’s the popular girl and star of the show. When it was time to be a real friend she wasn’t there for Kyle unless the cameras were on. Hello. I came across your Podcast for the very first time. When I saw Dorit, I figured I'd listen in on her long-winded conversation with you. I never cared for Dorit on the show. After seeing this interview, I felt so ashamed of myself. Though I don't know her Personally, I felt so different about her because she spoke her truth. Finally someone gave her a chance to speak. She spoke so honestly about her true Life. I will definitely see her in different light. I wish she would've mention Garcelle. I felt Garcelle bullied Dorit.

I love Dorit. She does talk a lot, but she's articulate. Kyle was the WORST this season. She's definitely going through some self issues. She projected her internal struggle onto Dorit and others. I hope Kyle finds herself so she doesn't cause more damage.
Not a fan of Dorit until she explained this whole friendship with Kyle because I actually believe her. Standing up against Kyle and not being a pushover is admirable.
It's too bad that the producers didn't allow most of Dorit's life story to flesh out. Unfortunately, Garcelle saw Dorit's PTSD through her 'White Privilege' prism. That's why she questioned it. She always sees things through that lens, and she beats it like a dead horse. Crystal does the same thing. They both need to be accountable without using racism as a crutch~
Going back to the question of - do you think the show would be as appealing if there was more focus on the women with their kids and family life etc - YES! I do! That's how Housewives started way back when. It was not ALL about over the top drama. It was about the women and their lives and friendships. I like Dorit. On the show they dont always show her in the best light but the reality is I think she is sweet and a bit naive if anything. She talks a lot and it gets her into trouble but I do not think her intentions are to hurt.

The only time PK pissed me right off was when he had zero grace in regard to your PTSD. He wasn’t there. What if he would have been there and you were the one away. I know the empathy via Dorit would not have been lacking. I was working at Mandalay Bay in LV the night of the shooting…does it still fuck up a lot moments on many days? Yes, yes that experience surely does. I’m so pissed over (everyone’s expectations in regard to Dorit’s learning to process and progress after) I just start crying for her. Imagine Kyle facing intruders while her daughters were in bed fast asleep…you know the narrative after that hypothetical would have been SO differently received/respected. Honestly, Dorit is too nice and "classy" for the "bitches" (Kyle, Kathy, Rinna, Resnic etc). Dorit is in a different leage. She is educated and has manners (compared to them). Kyle and them would have gotten nowhere if they behaved like Dorit. People are different. Sometimes the "intellectuals" miss out. Truth be told thought, very often it's the nerds that have the nice cars in their 40ies, lol. It's difficult when you are not the same.

Don't try to paint Crystal as a liar, she has solidified herself as one of the only housewives who can provide concise, factual, educated evidence. You're not fooling anyone.
I find the narrative around Dorit, along with how she's been treated, to be quite disturbing. Such a horrific event has literally changed her physiology. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for victims of crime to be retraumatized by triggering events and insensitive support networks. The treatment of Dorit is a sad reflection of how indifferent most people are to other people's suffering. Her grace under pressure is a testament to her strength and grit but she must feel so betrayed- on so many levels.
She thinks WAY TOO much of herself… very proud of herself for how dresses. 😂 Can you have someone on that can talk about something that actually matters?!?
I've been watching all the housewives since the inception of the franchise because it was recommended by a colleague for stress relief. 😂 I have gone in & out with who I love & agree with to ugh they are all nuts! However kyle, crystal, erika, annmarie are the ones to leave for obvious reasons but bravo andy wouldn't be that brave. LVP could return & ??? Idk maybe crazy Brandi? Or better...Camille for sure! And a brand new one. Dorit is beautiful. I see no negative traits. She is awesome! 😌

Garcelle is the bully. I hope the next season is not a repeat of Garcelle's behaviour. She boils down to eye-rolling, disapproving looks, sighing, and judgmental comments. She needs an attitude adjustment. The insinuations were wild - unconscious Karen behaviour, Rinna exacerbating her daughter's ED, insinuating Dorit's robbery wasn't real, the make-up band. She hated the original set and set out to be nasty to them in very underhand ways.
Loved this interview. I feel the other women targeted Dorit this season so it's nice to hear her side of things. Dorit actually brings something to the show. Crystal, Garcelle, Sutton are so boring. Kyle was so mean to Dorit - it was hard to watch. Hope to see more of Dorit 💗
Not trying to start conspiracy theories against production, but it is such a weird coincidence that Dorit was invited back 2 days early and then her home invasion happened immediately on day 1 of filming. On the other hand, maybe the home invaders also tried it specifically because she was NOT supposed to be back home for another 2 days... That whole situation still feels very suspect...

After seeing this interview, I felt so ashamed of myself. Though I don't know her Personally, I felt so different about her because she spoke her truth. Finally someone gave her a chance to speak. She spoke so honestly about her true Life. I will definitely see her in different light. I wish she would've mention Garcelle. I felt Garcelle bullied Dorit.

Honestly I had a lot of compassion and respect for Dorit ! First with the race card bs Garcelle has been trying to pin that race card stupidity for years now she tried it with Kyle to in the past . Dorit did nothing to Kyle but bring up the marriage thing that was obvious and Kyle is mad over that which makes zero sense and she did treat Dorit in a disrespectful manner for no reason ! Dorit didn’t deserve any of this and her honesty is obvious in this interview unlike Kyle
Garcelle's experience with Dorit and these ladies is typical of the B.S. that white women subject black women to.

I love Dorit. She does talk a lot, but she's articulate. Kyle was the WORST this season. She's definitely going through some self issues. She projected her internal struggle onto Dorit and others. I hope Kyle finds herself so she doesn't cause more damage.
Not a fan of Dorit until she explained this whole friendship with Kyle because I actually believe her. Standing up against Kyle and not being a pushover is admirable.
It's too bad that the producers didn't allow most of Dorit's life story to flesh out. Unfortunately, Garcelle saw Dorit's PTSD through her 'White Privilege' prism. That's why she questioned it. She always sees things through that lens, and she beats it like a dead horse. Crystal does the same thing. They both need to be accountable without using racism as a crutch~
Dorit broke off her friendship with LVP for Kyle, Teddi and Rinna. Look where she is now, on the other side of Kyle and her mean girl clique.

Going back to the question of - do you think the show would be as appealing if there was more focus on the women with their kids and family life etc - YES! I do! That's how Housewives started way back when. It was not ALL about over the top drama. It was about the women and their lives and friendships. I like Dorit. On the show they dont always show her in the best light but the reality is I think she is sweet and a bit naive if anything. She talks a lot and it gets her into trouble but I do not think her intentions are to hurt.
Now I like Dorit lol. She’s a sweetheart!

I’m so pissed over (everyone’s expectations in regard to Dorit’s learning to process and progress after) I just start crying for her.

I believe there are facts trickled around between the entire cast.
Honestly, Dorit is too nice and "classy" for the "bitches" (Kyle, Kathy, Rinna, Resnic etc).
Dorit is in a different leage. She is educated and has manners (compared to them). Kyle and them would have gotten nowhere if they behaved like Dorit.
People are different.

I find the narrative around Dorit, along with how she's been treated, to be quite disturbing. Such a horrific event has literally changed her physiology. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for victims of crime to be retraumatized by triggering events and insensitive support networks.
The treatment of Dorit is a sad reflection of how indifferent most people are to other people's suffering. Her grace under pressure is a testament to her strength and grit but she must feel so betrayed- on so many levels.
She thinks WAY TOO much of herself… very proud of herself for how dresses. 😂

Garcelle is the bully. I hope the next season is not a repeat of Garcelle's behaviour. She boils down to eye-rolling, disapproving looks, sighing, and judgmental comments. She needs an attitude adjustment. The insinuations were wild - unconscious Karen behaviour, Rinna exacerbating her daughter's ED, insinuating Dorit's robbery wasn't real, the make-up band. She hated the original set and set out to be nasty to them in very underhand ways.
Loved this interview. I feel the other women targeted Dorit this season so it's nice to hear her side of things. Dorit actually brings something to the show. Crystal, Garcelle, Sutton are so boring. Kyle was so mean to Dorit - it was hard to watch. Hope to see more of Dorit 💗

Not trying to start conspiracy theories against production, but it is such a weird coincidence that Dorit was invited back 2 days early and then her home invasion happened immediately on day 1 of filming. On the other hand, maybe the home invaders also tried it specifically because she was NOT supposed to be back home for another 2 days... That whole situation still feels very suspect...
