Randy, I love the reviews and I have a Baltany. This one is actually 1920s style and the other thing that Baltany does is supply a very high quality sapphire crystal and that really helps that dial pop.
Well , your not on your own ...I bought it as a treat to myself for my 60th. I love it and have two other Baltany watches I'm interested in lined up for purchase. And they present it in a nice leather travel case...and the card for the G&T is filled out!. It's a winner and I have no regrets having purchased it. 👍
I’ve got the all silver version Randy & it really is a great looking dress watch! I’m more into the sports, dive watches too but this fits nicely in the vast collection. 👍🏼😎🇦🇺
Putting my 2 cents in. Lovely watch. One of the few "old skool" super vintage watches I'd wear. The fingerprints on the case would drive me a bit bonkers so I'd need a microfibre cloth in my pocket. But I really like it. I had a Baltany Khaki Field and even though it wasn't me (the novelty of the blue sunburst wore off), the takeaway from that was that Baltany quality is top notch. I would definitely consider getting this if I was to level up my dress watch game and have it bookmarked as a potential future purchase. I'd be torn between the mother of peal and the black dial version.

Love the watch & the channel, so let me apologize for being nit picky here. That ceiling fan flickering in the hands and watch case during the close ups is truly annoying! Other than that, great review. Maybe you can merge the cheap watchman & cheap audioman channels for a day and review the seiko metronome watch.
Dial looks nice, square case also, price ok, it gives me old Longines vibes, but that 7 and 5 cut - they could simply skip the numbers, gold and flute bezel - not for me. Nice review, keep on the good work! And the metal tunes :)
You know what? I kinda like it! I was skeptical at first like you but it has some cool vintage vibes. I agree that if it was silver on silver it would look better. The only thing i dont like, which is my own ocd, is the 5 and the 7 kinda cut in the middle. Id prefer the seconds track to be smaller or even get rid of the 5 and 7. This is a great affordable vintage looking watch. Well done Baltany.. For a "dress" watch i have a sugess moonphaser master and a certina. But for 170 usd, thats a really cool little thing to add to the collection. Ohh oh and a screw down crown? Who does that?? 😂 AWESOME! this was a great review it's a proof anyone can have a watch collection and enjoy this hobby without spending thousands and thousands of dollars. Although we do on some peices.. Lets be real 😁😁😁
I have mostly sport and tool watches as well, but we gotta have some classy looking dress watches too. That watch is extremely good looking! Simple, elegant, classy. I love the visual appeal there, and the larger crown is very cool. Yup, I'd wear that. Wish it wasn't Chinese, but still a visual stunner.
I want to like them and their brand but I can’t do the second hand. I need a full size second hand on watches. I think most of their models have the mini second hand. Just my preference. Not a huge chronograph fan either because of that.

I have the all silver Roman dial with the quartz movement and I have to say that it's stupid value for money. I paid $60 for mine during a sale last year. Wearing it right now, in fact!

Hey there liked a few of your reviews so thought I'd subscribe (if it helps your channel) I like your conversational style and that you are a "took speed just prior to shooting" circus clown or full of shit wanker that takes things (like how he grooms) way too seriously. I've just bought a Baltany Chrono (with the VK67 movment) and liked it, but it wasn't specifically good value IMO unless Sapphire is a big deal (it isn't). I liked your view on Invicta (pragmatic) and like you have had a daily wear diver which I wore for about 20 years straight. Very nice. Many watches you need to see in natural lighting, rather than stock pictures to see their true beauty. This is definitely one of them.

The drop shadow on the numerals looks clean. I’m with you on the two-tone, but this looks less like “your dad’s watch” than other two-tones!

It’s a coin edged bezel not fluted. It’s a knock off, of the Rolex Oyster, Ultra Prima from 1929-early 30’s
