  • I really couldn’t afford the high-end windows I wanted so I decided that if I was gonna have to settle for cheap windows, I was going to build them instead. I’ve built many windows in my 45 years in the business so it’s no problem baby. 😎

My grandfather spent a great many years at the Bailey Lumber Company in Bluefield W. Va building doors and windows. Kinda neat to see someone still got the talent. Wish I had time to help you with a few.

I think your grandfather would have me beat :) but his generation was great inspiration to keep the old ways alive :)

@@ArtisanTony he passed away in 2004 and left me his entire woodshop. Black and Decker power tools with aluminum housings. A drill , belt sander, the router used to build the ark. And a 1919 table saw from J.D Wallace that they were getting rid of at the sash and door shop. It was a different type of craft back then. He wrote his name in pencil inside every piece he ever built.

That's the most expensive looking "cheap" window I've ever seen ;-)

haha, I'll have about $150 in each one but the windows I wanted would have been $500 each :)
