  • Atwater Market is home to numerous butcher shops, cheese mongers, and local food producers who offer fresh, high-quality products. You can savor a variety of cuisines, from Vietnamese to Reunion Island dishes, barbecue, tapas, ice cream, and more.
You can enjoy your meal at one of the picnic tables or on the patio with a view of the picturesque Lachine Canal.
The outdoor season begins with horticulturalists and market gardeners offering their wares.
One of the standout features of Atwater Market is its stunning Art Deco-style architecture, making it one of the most beautiful landmarks in the city. Named after Edwin Atwater, a 19th-century entrepreneur and city councillor, this market has been a beloved part of our community since 1933.
