Can't believe I just watched an entire 30+ mins of chess. I never thought I would be so interested. I've got to hand it to you, you are a great storyteller. I was mesmerised.
yeah hopefully I will get more sponsors in the future. This one was for this video only but it was still a huge step forward in making ASMR Chess a professional channel where I can upload all the time.
Your videos are so incredible and have made me fall in love with chess. For beginners like me they teach at a slow learnable pace, while also doing an amazing job instilling an appreciation for the history and beauty of the game. The bigger RUclipsrs and streamers (including the IMs, GMs, etc.) lack your style, depth, and intimacy, which feels like I have my own private tutor every time I watch. Thank you for such wonderful content, and I'm thrilled to see your subscriber count climbing! I've been a big fan since your Chess in a Smokey Cafe video, and I know I will be for a long time to come!
I cannot possibly watch enough analysis videos about this game. in just about every position there are beautiful and interesting side lines and in just about every position, Kasparov plays the absolute best move to deliver a crushing defeat. games like this are absolute artistic beauty
Whodda thought German could be so ASMR tingly?? Nice job with the new camera angles in the beginning; it is a nice visual touch! Also, as someone who loves soft spoken and whispering ASMR videos, I especially like when you switch randomly between soft spoken, slow whispering, etc. It’s so much more relaxing. Thanks for explaining the moves by the way. I always learn something (so long as I stay awake).
Man, I’ve been watching this channel for half a decade and it’s such a pleasure watching it grow. I always learn something new from every video. Thanks for the fantastic work!
i have been watching along since the beginning of your channel been here for the long time you went missing literally always checking if theres a new video. then you came back with some of the best ASMR video's i have ever seen to date. its simply amazing how much effort you put into these. and yet you still manage to up the quality even more with each upload. i am mostly silent in the comment sections of RUclips but this just has to be said. thank you very much.
Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging words and your years of support, even when I was absent. It means so much to me and helps me stay motivated to make more videos.
I always thought when people talked about beautiful, or engaging games of chess it was kinda just a thrown in adjective. But holy crap that explains this game perfectly!!!
Another excellent video. It was so relaxing I had to watch it a few times because I kept falling asleep but Garry Kasparov is my all time favourite Chess player so I seeing you play through the game was a real treat.
Not gonna lie. It’s mind boggling that there could be someone so smart that he could think 10+ moves ahead of another Grandmaster… it angers me because I don’t wanna believe it lmao my brain gets toasted after 5. Yet it’s exciting to know there’s someone so skillful
Kasparov actually credits his work ethic rather than his intelligence for his skill. Of course he couldn't have gotten where he did if he hadn't a good head on his shoulders, but his ability to work tirelessly and to always (ALWAYS) learn from his mistake and improve himself was what really set him apart. I think that is very inspiring. Also to see how he has now applied that principle to his personal life and opinions and has become a better and more complete person than he was when he was young. Very impressive, inspiring and interesting guy. He has some faults as well of course.
I am currently in my finals' week, and just found the channel two days ago. I've been binge watching it like it's netflix. Keep it up, your vids are awesome!
Amazing quality .. the full screen board is so good .. no electronic board this is much better .. And I think you can add more of these shooting angles in the begining of the video ..
The perfect video doesn't exi.... I was wondering when would you analyze this beatiful game, it really was worth the waiting. Now I'm going to watch it everynight before going to sleep.
I'm gonna be honest: I'm german and your pronounciation was really really good! That might be the best way to make people want to use Babbel, if it actually works that well! And also: if you ever need someone to talk to in german, I would be glad😁
I randomly listened to one of your videos months ago, but it didn’t really do anything for me. Then a few days ago I randomly downloaded a chess app and now I’m addicted to your channel lol. Cheers.
Welp, I'm a huge Kasparov fan and honestly this video was tremendous. Really loved the closeup shots on the pieces as well. I thought the proximity of the voice was perfect especially. Lastly, this game was truly interesting to listen to especially with ASMR. I actually have found Kasparovs political stuff quite fascinating as well. Anyway will be using this one for sleep tonight! Thank you my friend!
Kasparov is a very fascinating person. In particular I find his ability to admit and then learn from his mistakes (in chess AND in life) very inspiring.
@@ASMRChess We could all learn a bit from the wisdom of Kasparov. Now if only the US could develop a chess player with his skill besides Bobby Fisher LOL.

agreed! It takes 2 to tango and without Topalovs brilliant defense this game would have been over quickly and we would have missed this beautiful game.
Amazing video quality, as always ! It’s both so relaxing and immersive to grasp the strategies of the players, thank you so much for your continuous dedication ! My only advice: it’s much easier to follow the game while watching on a small phone when you put a virtual chessboard next to the actual board, as you usually do in your other videos. Otherwise, it was perfect !
@@ASMRChess And I think you did right ! I think the quality of your channel also relies on your constant search for new ideas, concepts and styles (as you did with your beautiful chessboard in the previous video) . Please don’t take my comment as an incentive to restrain yourself from being creative, on the opposite ! ☺️
I have played chess but never really understood any tactics in it. This is both extremely relaxing, interesting and just might make me start playing chess Great work

On minute 21:07 if Topalov gave a check with rook then there is one place where white king can go and in next move it is check-mate with black queen. I’m really surprised this is not evaluated by those grand masters.
@@ASMRChess Wow, I revised it and now I realize that B3 is protected by the white pawn and such move is not available with black queen. It’s so obvious. Ahahaha. I guess I missed it cause I was almost asleep and “hypnotised” by the asmr techniques…Good job, mate:)
What would happen if he puts the rook to G2? I'm not good at chess or anything, I'm just scratching my head as to why it's hopeless to win by that point 😅
This is how he was world champion, he would wait hours for his opponents to sleep, then play an extremely risky move, therefore winning, because you cant play chess when asleep.
At 18:38, I thought I found a way to defend this, you just pin the white queen to its king with the black queen, defended by the rook. This way, no check from the queen, but we lose the black queen, since you can still get a check from the white rook. The black rook captures the white one, doesnt protect its queen anymore, so we lose the queen, but at least we avoided checkmate. Problem is, we still have the same issue with our king trapped, we can defend with our bishop but it won't hold for too long, same idea, check from the white queen, captured by the bishop then recaptured by the the pawn, checkmate. There is probably other variations but i think it's a really interesting position. It also explains why Kasparov didnt try this idea of activating his king before in the game, because he didnt have his rook prepared to give a check. This time the queen exchange would have been unavoidable, and the attack would have stopped there.
21:14 There was a MATE in Tupalovs favor in 2 moves. Rook goes for check and then after king walks away the queen steps closer actually mating the whites. Or is there something I miss
At 23:28 I was expecting the rook to take the pawn and then queen takes rook then the pawn check forcing black to take and then u win a queen I’m not sure if it’s forced but I think it is
