@@Sif3r some of the 3D boats and explosions were not well done. The physics were wrong. Since the rest was so perfectly done it’s funny that these were not. Still impressive movie tho.
Zoe Saldana's performance in this movie is just amazing. Her scream when Neteyam dies, her sobbing and her rocking him, "No, Great Mother, no, Great Mother"... omg I needed like a whole pack of tissues the first time I saw it in the theater.
That moment fucking destroyed me, man. I was a sobbing mess back in the theather. And then with the funeral and the scene in the spirit realm... Jeez I cried my eyes out with that😅
Cameron has said he's mapped out the whole series and part 3 is done filming and even some of part 4 is too. This man has a plan and he's going to see it through to the end. I look forward to watching all of them.
If I was a military commander coming back to Pandora after we got our buts handed to us by the natives .I would nuke it from orbit and kill everything . I know its horrible but seriously be realistic!
I was a casual fan of avatar 1 not particularly hyped for this movie, but the way of water honestly blew me away. Seeing this movie in IMAX was an experience unlike anything else. No one does it like James Cameron man
The girl they got to play Tsireya, the chiefs daughter, has the BEST SMILE! She portrayed all of the kindness the character needed with such simple glances and looks. She and Kiri are my favs of this film! Even though Sigourney’s voice in a teen is still weird to me.
Nah Kiri is supposed to be weird, like the part of lo'ak feeling like an outcast suddenly when everyone else in the family was being treated the same way felt so force I swear 😭 like bruv why they have to dilute her story for his idk but I digress, she is supposed to be out of place that's the whole point of her character, and Tsireya is adorable but yet again feels like its riding off of Neytiri's original story arc. Kiri's character feel fresh something we haven't seen, but I have no real hate for any of the characters.
@@808hearmannxea2 yes I know I’ve seen the explanations and interviews as well! Still sounds weird to me! Sigourney Weaver has such a distinctive voice and accent. Even with the addition of the light Na’vi accent, she still just sounds like Sigourney Weaver. And I don’t find Kiri to even be that awkward. She’s pretty damn capable and together through the entire film! Lo’ak was more awkward. Still, Kiri is my second favorite character after Tsireya! :)
Something about seeing Lo'ak LITERALLY having his brothers blood on his hands broke me more than it probably should've. I felt so bad for him throught this whole movie. Very poetic as it is heartbreaking
His blood is on Loaks hands literally and figuratively. If Loak hadn’t taken the bait and tried to save Payakan, they would all be alive arguably. I despise Loak even though his heart isn’t evil.
On the subject of Kiri's parentage, considering she too is played by Sigourney Weaver, while still unconfirmed it's very likely she's a reincarnation of Grace. Or even more on the nose, it could be an immaculate conception, making Kiri into Na'vi Jesus.
literally throughout the first time watching this in the cinema, I thought "Kiri reminds me of Anakin lol" the immaculate conception, the use of "force" connection to nature etc.. haha
She's definitely going to be the avatar of Eywa (or Jesus as you say), if not I'd be really disappointed. It would explain all her powers and everything, reincarnation of Grace wouldn't explain anything, although she would technically be in there to as Grace is one with Eywa now. So I definitely think Eywa used Grace's avatar to birth itself into the world because Eywa knew the humans would be back and now they're going to need someone to unite all the life on Pandora to get rid of the humans once and for all.
I don’t understand the need for so many people to take down super financially successful films, they were so successful for a reason. Titanic, this, Avatar, Endgame, all extremely entertaining and well made films, it’s okay to enjoy things you guys
There’s a lot of cynicism on internet. I don’t understand why a certain group of self-proclaimed movie geeks seem to hate Avatars and wishing them to fail. This is just so petty and miserable. They will complain for hours how Avatar movies are unoriginal and than go and watch the same superhero journey redone for the twentieth time without seeing the irony. They complain how no fresh ideas and IPs appear in Hollywood but they will shit all over these movies and wishing them to fail. I really don’t understand their negative bias. It’s like James Cameron kicker their puppy or something.
I have to play devil's advocate (especially after you mentioned Endgame). People are entitled to their opinions. For instance, you thinking Endgame was good. It was so full of deus ex machina, it isn't funny. but as you like. It was probably following the comics faithfully. I don't know. I don't think all of the movies leading up to Endgame were "great" while they were well made. A few Ironman and a Thor movie I felt could have been better. Alternatively, I agree this was well made and well written. Everybody's a critic. **shrug**
@@wal6377 i agree with everything you said about endgame. i liked it at first viewing but ive never bothered to rewatch it and imo it shouldve been the conclusion of the mcu but like you say we’re all entitled to our own opinions
Financial success doesn't always = good movie. Criticism should be acceptable for all movies even ones that are the highest grossing of all time. Just because you enjoy it doesn't mean others have to, and vice versa.
@@vishalvenkat6 I didn’t say it did, the transformers movies are garbage. I’m not talking about normal criticism I’m talking about hyperbolic BS just because of success, the top 7 grossing movies are not the trash that so many people make them out to be simply because they’re successful.
I'm 99% sure that Kiri is the physical child of Eywa. I'm certain people already think this but I'm fairly certain but I think Eywa accessed Grace's Avatar body when they tried doing the mental transfer and chose her to be the mother. Thus giving her the powers of Eywa and the smarts and compassion of Grace. Also, I love that the first movie was symbolically about Native Americans and this movie is about Pacific Islanders. Cannot wait for the next 3!
My favorite scene is when Loak repeats to his dad what Tsireya said to him. "The way of water connects all things..." Loak was definitely my favorite character
Lo’ak was my favorite character as well! I can’t wait to see his relationship with Tsyraya grow in Avatar 3 and hopefully he can have a better relationship with his father in the third movie as well!
The reason these movies hit so hard (at least for me) is because of the real life parallels of how badly animals and the environment are treated by groups of people every day. 🐋 🦋 🌊
It's ironic that white people blame ourselves for everything when we're literally the ones who developed these advanced moral positions in the first place. It's not white people who are destroying the environment of China, or the large animals of Africa.
Man I just saw a documentary about poaching. Humans kill 30,000 elephants, whales, sharks, tigers every year. The villains in this movie are tame compared to how brutal humans are in real life.
All I can think is that Grace's avatar was connected to Eywa when they were trying to do the transfer. It's not hard to believe that Eywa could have fertilized an embryo at that time. Spider saving Quaritch has me thinking dear old dad is going to be getting the mother of all redemption arks before this is over. I just hope Neytiri doesn't alienate Spider...the scene where he is legitimately scared of her and when she cuts him has me fearing he'll end up flipping sides.
i feel like he will swap sides and most possibly due to fear of neytiri but also because of his conflicting love for his bio father. you can see him already have that inner conflict and turmoil. “what side do i belong on”
I wouldn't be surprised if another, new avatar of the Colonel was made, and the one that lived at the end of this one has to fight the newer version of himself.
No joke, Jon Landau has admitted that one of the major themes of Avatar is to open your eyes and truly see what's around you. So yes, it'll probably end with eyes opening for every movie 😂
Goddamn did they strike gold by scooping up Zoe Saldana when they did. Her acting in this series is SO good. Everyone else is fine but she's out here acting like it's the last thing she'll ever do. The screams of pain over her son and then composing herself so she can save her daughters? So good. And I love how it's not a perfect mask, when she's fighting on the ship you can tell she's struggling to keep it together.
Well, Zoe's a mother now, and she's channelling that affection of her children into her casting! She said as much in an interview with the other cast members including Cameron.
@@MichaelDavis2754 With what exactly? The plot? We're lead to believe the government paid to clone Quaritch and his men for what, a revenge plot? They definitely didn't do it to stop the resistance since Jake was no longer the leader of the resistance when they fled. The words "bro" and "cuz" were said well over a hundred times in the film. The same plot was played out at least four times. Kids do stupid shit, get caught, Jake goes to save them, Quaritch has a change to kill Jake but decides not to, kids are saved. The film is gorgeous and for that reason alone I watched it twice. Both times in IMAX. But let's not pretend the acting and story were anything spectacular.
41:11 I also see Spider saving Quaritch as "You save me from Neytiri, i don't own you anything else" And i totally believe that Neytiri would have killed Spider
20:06 It was. 3D IMAX, it was pretty amazing. 35:04 Because the kids have actually been integrating into the village and training whereas Neytiri hasn't. She still rides her Ikran instead of bonding with the sea creatures.
Totally agreed, better than the 1st one, I cried SO much during and after this movie. I was sobbing when, during the funeral, we flash back to Neteyam's birth. :(
It’s confirmed that the third film will actually feature a fire tribe of Na’vi called the Ash People as the main antagonists. It’ll be cool to see how that plays out as it’s uncharted territory for the series.
I'm honestly excited to see how Neytiri reacts and handles that, having a tribe of Na'vi that is the opposite of what she believes. Knowing that not all Na'vi are on the good side.
I hope that is true as the antagonists in this film seemed like a cop out. Bringing back a dead character made it seem like they had no idea who the villain should be so they went back to the same well.
I saw the movie 8 times in the theater.. watching it in IMAX was just a mind blowing experience, honestly. I love Payakan and Lo'Ak's relationship, and Payakan's song (by Simon Franglen) is so fucking beautiful.
Don't worry Natalie, you're not the only one who cried when Jake's first-born died and when the hunters killed that baby whale's mother. Now as a person who literally grew up watching Avatar on repeat as a child, The Way of Water was a long time coming and I'm filled with joy, though it did hurt and it sucks that Jake's first-born died, because he seemed like the one who was the most responsible for the actions of his siblings. Not gonna lie, I wish they exist. Also the Omatikaya are the forest/tree Navi and the Metkayina are the water Navi.
That's the reason why James Cameron is one of my favorite movie director (long life to his work) he had such a brilliant idea to continue this masterpiece I usually don't go see movies in theaters because of overprices tickets nowadays but worth it definitely Avatar 2 the way of water brought me 3 hours in theaters without even being tired or disappointed. His writing and his special effects visual 3D makes us believe Pandora is real, without forget it was a pure joy to see back together Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Stephen Lang they are such underrated actors. The movie also give such a beautiful message about family and in the first movie I wasn't really interested by Ewa but this Kiri's storyline in this chapter makes me want so bad to see the next movies. For me the scene when Neitiry is singing for her son's deathand her voice is different I lost it and I am 27 years old man 😭
When you like James Cameron it is no wonder you like this one - it is a combination of his most succesful movies in one movie. Avatar I, Titanic, Aliens, Terminator 2 => the scenery and the backstory of Avatar I; the water scenario and the sinking ship scenes from Titanic; the walking robots, the similar space ships and aircrafts and the kids knowing to survive better than the adults like in "Aliens"; the villain returns even you stopped him him and the unsolved kind of paradox father figure like in Terminator 2. You combine all of that and you get => "The way of ... Cameron". You could even add the returning of Sigourney Weaver and her special child in Aliens (even though the Alien-Films with that kind of story-line are from David Fincher and Jeunet) and the strong almost magical girl with the mysterious back stroy like in Alita. Okay connect this film to the diving scenes from "Sanctum" and the similarities from the creatures in "Piranha II" may be a little far fetched ...
@@Balleehuuu Oh that's exactly what I said after the movie ended in theaters I told my friends the ship scene at the end looked similar to Titanic, I noticed that during the movie it was brilliant idea too to combine some of his other fantastic movies that's the reason why I said (Long life to his work) 😉
@@TheNaughtyFrench For me this is all fresh ... I watched the movie, because I wanted to have seen it when go for this reaction from Natalie - so when her video went up, I watched the video and have written this comment right after I watched her reaction - I am very glad that you agree to some point with it, that is quite assuring ;-)
Yeah this movie is visually stunning especially in IMAX 3D. Also Kiri is actually played by Sigourney Weaver. I saw some interviews with her and James Cameron about it. He said it was incredible to see Sigourney immerse herself in this teenage character and she was describing how great this role was for connecting with her teenage self again after such long time. It is really incredible technology which can allow actors to play roles they would otherwise never be able to. ps: Sorry for my english i am not a native speaker
Thank you so much Natalie! I saw this movie with my Dad in the theater and really enjoyed it. And specifically I enjoyed the relationship between Kiri and Spider and the fact that you saw it as well and we're so open minded the entire film just made me feel better. This film got a lot of negative feedback so finding a creator who was kind and very interested in the world and story means a lot to me. Plus, we cried at the same parts! So thank you for all your reactions, they are truly something special to me. ❤
Being introduced to the Metkayina was one of my favorite parts of the movie for me. I remember years ago watching a video how people hunt whales, so watching them hunt the tulkun was especially upsetting while knowing these are real world techniques. I really loved Lo’ak and Payakans relationship! It gave me goosebumps when Payakan breached the water to save him, and in the end he finally took out the hunters. I was so sad that Neteyam died, I think he was my favorite character.
I am so SO happy to hear someone also agree with the liking of spider saving his father and his conflicting relationship and feelings with him. A LARGE majority of the fandom HATES spider. But i love him. It really shows that spider is JUST A KID. A kid that wants his father’s love even though he isnt a good person.
I was so hyped for this movie. When I was like six after the first movie came out I didn’t think there would actually be a sequel but over the years I kept checking and constantly rewatching the first one. And now it’s actually happening!! I love these movies so much and I’m so excited for the next ones!
And it was worth the time I was more than happy to wait while it ran only in theatres exclusive so they could get as much of the budget back as they need those returns for the studies allow the story to continue, thanks to all that went to watch it in theaters.
This movie was a near perfect sequel. It improved it's emotional beats, visual overload, making us care about the characters, expanding on the world, and more. The sequel is definitely better, imo, and I believe the next movies are already mostly filmed.. There is a lot of events that conspired during that final battle that, I too, am looking forward to seeing what happens. Great reaction and looking forward to more!
The end of the scene reminded me a little bit of the movie about pearl harbor. After the event occurred the boats began to sink, and when they sink they slowly flip upside down. Once the top of the boat enters the water, it starts filling up the inside of the boat which creates a suction. This suction took the lives of many soldiers because they were unable to swim fast enough to get away and got dragged under water. Brings me to tears everytime I think about it. RIP to those veterans.
One thing I've not seen mentioned by many/any is how when Tonowari tells Ronal she should stay home and she says "I ride" there's no pushback or questioning from Tonowari. Very commonly in unbalanced relationships even in supposedly balanced hollywood relationships the man would insist or reluctantly allow her to come along, but here, he simply offers his suggestion and lets Ronal make her own decision with full acceptance.
I absolutely love how the chief did not for 1 second try to argue with his wife. He once advised her not to go, she said "i ride" and he just grabbed his own weapon and they left together.
I just love how they're so perfectly balanced, him and his wife. It was refreshing to see a couple with a relatively large role who didn't go through any strain between them. He's a strong, powerful leader, but so is she, and he knows it, so he never attempts to argue. It reflects nicely against Jake and Neytiri who are still obviously going through struggles despite loving each other, due to the cultural differences they were raised in
did anyone catch jake saying that navi might as well be english and assume that meant the reason why the rest of the movie in english is because we’re hearing navi from jake’s point of view?
I know I’m just a stranger passing through on the internet but I’m really, really sorry for your loss. If it isn’t weird, gonna give you a virtual hug.
“I also how we are still hanging on to the wounded fin, like there’s another fin on the other side! Oh just kidding! Just kidding, sorry” I literally cant stop laughing😂
Seen this movie quite a few times and yet, the "an arm for a fin" thing went right over my head. That makes alot of sense and it's the first time I've heard the idea. Nice catch!
Went and saw it in 3D at an IMAX theater with the higher frame-rate. One of the best visual experiences I have ever seen. It's remarkable how far ahead this technology is compared to other movies. The actors actually trained to learn to hold their breath for 5-7 mins for shots, because faking movement in water doesn't work.
The cool bit about the concept of the Avatar is being fully fleshed out in all of these movies. In mythology "Gods' would take Avatars to blend in amongst us humans. The first movie layed out that a person's soul/essence/neural patterns could be placed into an alien body. When Grace died at the end of the first movie we thought it just didn't work for her. It turns out Aywa did something different with her creating it's own Avatar in the form of Kiri. So yeah, Kirti doesn't have a Father; she is the living incarnation of Aywa. I think the Spider/Colonel situation is going to become a necessary component to an eventual Peace and Understanding between Humans and the Navi. The Colonel will still be a bad guy but because of Spider he will learn to understand and maybe even empathize with the Navi.
That’s what I’ve been saying. The first movie was called Avatar because they controlled remote piloted avatars. But Jake is no longer an avatar, he’s full Navi. So where does Avatar come in (besides hanging onto the franchise’s title)? Avatar in the classic religious sense. Kiri is Eywa’s Avatar.

I don't usually watch movie reaction content maybe coz i'm old but when i found your channel i couldn't believe how much you look like my twin who is no longer with us and every time i miss her or just feel sad i look for your content and remember the good old days my twin and i had. I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who was crying my eyes out during this movie. I thought I was being weird when I started crying during the death of one of the Tulkan and Netetyam.
I‘ve been waiting for Natalie to see this and upload an reaction! I totally loved this movie. Specially the scene of the Sully‘s arrival at the village. It’s the first time, where we see their shade of blue skin doesn’t blend in with its surroundings anymore, where it stands out and creates a contrast. It just shows the level of detail that went into these movies, coming straight from James Cameron himself.
Hey Natalie…Thanks so much for your reaction to Avatar: The Way Of Water! You really expressed so much emotion throughout and you also had some funny moments as well! (My favorite funny moment was…I really should have gotten tissues when I went up to pee!) Also I feel the same way about the animals in this movie…especially the Tulkun (I thought that part was so sad as well…) But my favorite characters were definitely Lo’ak (because of his friendship with Payakan) and I also really liked Ronal (Kate Winslet’s an amazing actress and I thought it was so epic that she went into battle…despite being pregnant-actually I was honestly really more worried that she was going to die…and I also got emotional when Neteyam died…But I can’t wait for Avatar 3 in 2024! I really like the both movies to be honest with you but I like the second movie because of the themes of family but I also like the first one because its about discovering yourself! 💙💧💦🐉🐋

this was such an amazing movie! thank you for reacting! there has been so much unwarrented critisism around this film, so i'm glad to see someone react to it and love it as much as i did
In point of fact, How to Train Your Dragon *is* based on a book series...but it takes next to nothing from those books besides character names, the basic viking setting, and the general idea that Hiccup starts out as a bit of a dweeb who turns out to get along exceptionally well with dragons. For example, the Toothless from the books is of the most common dragon species, is about the size of a cat, and is quite literally toothless.
So glad you liked it! I thought it was amazing. I know a lot of people give these movies a hard time by saying they're only good because of the effects, but I think they're so emotional.
Avatar 2 > Avatar! Not by a lot but they added almost everything we loved about the first film, into the second film, but with a twist. This was a highly immersive and visually stunning movie in 3D, nothing out today comes close. See it in theaters if you can, it's better the second time anyways!
Enjoyed your reaction to the first movie, so was really looking forward to this! I've been a fan since the OG, and this for me was worth the 13 year wait. My favorite characters are Quaritch, Kiri, Spider, and Tuk, but I love everyone. I have no idea what to expect from the rest of the series!
I didn't really connect with this movie, but the scene with the killing of the tulkun destroyed me, there was a dude next to me asking me if I was okay 'cause I couldn't stop crying 😅 I didn't even know him hahahaha

I RARELY go to the movies. I usually only watch the Avengers films or certain Marvel movies whose spoilers are unavoidable in theaters. But I’m glad I went to see this in IMAX.
Kiri is Eywa's child. & Netiryi definitely would of killed Spider. I'm quite angry he saved his dad after seeing Neteyam die saving him. I cried soo much this movie, especially after the ending scenes.
i saw the first movie when i was 5, and it was my favorite movie ever since. i waited so long for this movie and loved it but i wasn’t expecting to sob my eyes out next to my dad in theaters.
Hi, I'm a MoCap performer and gotta say they've created seriously stylish fight and movement choreography for this. I also wanted to share a painful story of mine about the new Resident Evil Remakes. In late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the RE 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part... Now, many years later, when I see how successful those remakes are I can't forgive myself for wasting such a chance. In this business one audition can change your entire life.
When I first watched the trailer I thought I would dislike Kiri and Spider but honestly they were some of my favorites in the movie. I was actually surprised by the amount of hate Spider’s character got. I thought both their storylines were so good and promising and I can’t wait to see them and their relationship unfold.
I was so excited to finally watch this movie! I did NOT expect it would make me cry the way it did. James Cameron really knows how to make me emotional
Zoe Saldana is a fantastic actress, and she excelled in this movie in regards to portraying a grieving mother. Also, I love those everything bagel cashews, they are so good!!! 😁
My theory is Kiri is a product of Eywa itself using Augustine's avatar to clone her which is why Kiri looks and sounds almost exactly like augustine. it would also explain her connection to the environment itself.
I'm glad you enjoyed it so much, as this was one of my favorite films. If you do get the opportunity to see it in 3d, I highly recommend it (assuming you're alright with 3d format) because it's truly incredible how it immerses you into the film... honestly felt like I was looking out an open window. I definitely believe James Cameron has a solid plan for the story he wants to tell, because this whole film felt like the second act, of a much larger production... and I'm really excited to see where this story goes. If you're into technical stuff, the methodology Cameron pioneered for filming underwater, is truly amazing. Not only were the actors free-diving during every underwater scene, but the mask/breathing-apparatus Spider is wearing isn't just a prop created for the film... they got it certified and approved as actual scuba dive-gear. Have a wonderful day my friend!
The water thing is the whole reason this movie took so long. Cameron is a big ocean geek. Just like for The Abyss, new aquatic special effects had to be invented to make his vision happen, and he commits to his dreams pretty hard. (Like being one of only three people, and the only solo dive, to ever reach the bottom of the Challenger Deep.)
I worked on this show in a minor capacity. Not spilling any NDA secrets here, but Avatar 2, Avatar 3, and parts of Avatar 4 were all shot at the same time (mostly at MBS in Manhattan Beach). A3 is fully in the can and is in post production right now and is due out in 2024. Cameron has said that his vision for the Avatar franchise is that it will be a multi generational story about family. So we can expect that in future films the kids will eventually grow into adulthood and the torch will get passed to them at some point.
Been a fan of the channel for about two years now today just wanted to say I appreciate your kindness and commentary and it also is ya bois Birthday so glad that this reaction came out today 😊 keep up the good work and stay golden
Yup he opened his eyes again but the last time it was soft eyes, the eyes of man who finally found peace. Now it's a look of determination, the eyes of a man who's ready for war.
Kiri (as far as thé theory goed) doesn’t have a father.. she was conceived by Eywa herself when they tried to save Grace in the first movie… so that Grace could still be a part of the clan even though she died
i was waiting on this reaction!! i always have fun watching with you!! honestly, i think most people do think that this movie is better than the first. if only because it focuses on a lot more aspects than a love story and it expands the world of pandora so much more. i also think they did a really good job setting up the new leads of the story in lo’ak, kiri and spider. it was actually already confirmed that lo’ak is gonna be the narrator of the upcoming third film! and i really really agree with you about spider. spider hate is so crazy to me especially about his decision at the end which i totally saw as a way to show how he’s better than his father. and ofc i have to mention neteyam. i cried like a baby. i understand what james cameron was going for but it doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt like a bitch. still haven’t recovered from his death honestly.

I think they spent about four years writing all of the scripts, which expanded to four films eventually. So whether it'll all work or not, they've all been pretty meticulously planned out and written, story wise!
The whole series of movies was apperently planned out by Cameron in the 90s, he just didn't think the CG capabilities were there yet to tell the story he wanted to. That said, Way of Water is actually the *third* movie in his original plan, but apperently he decided that the second one wouldn't work as well as a movie so instead it got adapted into a visual novel that fills the gap between the original and Way of Water
Just jaw-dropping in theaters, it blows away every other CGI movie and the water effects were incredible.

I was a casual fan of avatar 1 not particularly hyped for this movie, but the way of water honestly blew me away. Seeing this movie in IMAX was an experience unlike anything else. No one does it like James Cameron man
I agree. Watched it in "normal" 3D and in IMAX, it's rediculous how much different the experience is!
@@AdmiralEisbaerwish I saw it in 3d
I urged Natalie waay back when she saw Avatar 1 to watch this on Imax despite her wanting to do this for the channel. Sigh.
Damn straight. Couldn't have said it better myself mate.
yeah people who say the movie and director is overrated are cringey as fuck. The movie has a heart, wakanda forever felt very forced
This movie totally broke me in theaters. We’re with you Nat 😂
Just like the first one

It broke me as well…
I didn't want anyone looking at me while I watched this in theaters because man, I was a MESS
I was a state...glad i had napkins xD
The girl they got to play Tsireya, the chiefs daughter, has the BEST SMILE! She portrayed all of the kindness the character needed with such simple glances and looks. She and Kiri are my favs of this film! Even though Sigourney’s voice in a teen is still weird to me.
you have like, an amazingly good eye for you to pick up on such a detail!
@@jesserochon3103not
On the subject of Kiri's parentage, considering she too is played by Sigourney Weaver, while still unconfirmed it's very likely she's a reincarnation of Grace.
Or even more on the nose, it could be an immaculate conception, making Kiri into Na'vi Jesus.
literally throughout the first time watching this in the cinema, I thought "Kiri reminds me of Anakin lol" the immaculate conception, the use of "force" connection to nature etc.. haha
@@chantemclaughlin9425 When she kills all the younglings to impress the Colonel, we'll know for sure.
There's nothing to do with her nose, tuk and lo'ak also have similar faces
Not only is Lo’ak my favorite character butttt…. I have a crush on him❤😂
The reason these movies hit so hard (at least for me) is because of the real life parallels of how badly animals and the environment are treated by groups of people every day. 🐋 🦋 🌊
With whaling, or similar forms of "hunting" specifically too
It's ironic that white people blame ourselves for everything when we're literally the ones who developed these advanced moral positions in the first place. It's not white people who are destroying the environment of China, or the large animals of Africa.
Man I just saw a documentary about poaching. Humans kill 30,000 elephants, whales, sharks, tigers every year. The villains in this movie are tame compared to how brutal humans are in real life.
Yeah animal agriculture is so sad. All those cows, chickens, pigs, turkeys :(
All I can think is that Grace's avatar was connected to Eywa when they were trying to do the transfer.

The Way of Water is a visual masterpiece. I'm glad I got to see it in 3D.
Too bad the script was terrible.
@•Ducky• Rude? Please enlighten me on where I was rude.
@@BrandonWestfallme personally I disagree

@@jasonsabbath6996 wrong nerd. Cameron always said quatrich is the primary antagonist of the five films.

I literally love Avatar I watched it the day it came out and sobbed 😭

Agree I love Tonowari and Ronal's relationship you can tell their equals that respect each other.
The animation is simply breathtaking. I really can’t wait to see how the saga wraps up. The most beautiful movie I’ve ever watched.
Excited for this! Avatar 2 was a cinematic masterpiece in terms of visuals. Theatre IMAX experience was phenomenal!

Seen this movie quite a few times and yet, the "an arm for a fin" thing went right over my head. That makes alot of sense and it's the first time I've heard the idea. Nice catch!
I love at the end with the fights and battle ship sinking and on fire. I was like, " hell yeah! Now it's totally a James Cameron film".
I can not overstate how amazing this looked in 3d in theaters. Normally 3d is a gimmick, but it really does enhance this beyond belief

I love love the first movie... but this one is way better!!! 13 years waiting as worth it. I cannot wait to part 3.
I think Kiri was a result of them trying to save Grace in the first movie. When her real body and her Avatar body were connected to Eywa.

this was such an amazing movie! thank you for reacting! there has been so much unwarrented critisism around this film, so i'm glad to see someone react to it and love it as much as i did
In point of fact, How to Train Your Dragon *is* based on a book series...but it takes next to nothing from those books besides character names, the basic viking setting, and the general idea that Hiccup starts out as a bit of a dweeb who turns out to get along exceptionally well with dragons.
I saw this film back in January in 3D and I absolutely loved it! What a beautiful experience

Cameron has been working on the Avatar story since the '90s, the man has ALL planned out (kinda)

How to train your Dragon is actually based on a book. A book it doesn’t really follow but it is a book. Also yes this movie is 10/10
Such a great movie, so emotional, loved the new characters, James Cameron has done it again.
My theory is Kiri is a product of Eywa itself using Augustine's avatar to clone her which is why Kiri looks and sounds almost exactly like augustine. it would also explain her connection to the environment itself.
Hey Natalie, thank you for making these videos, They really help me on this roller coaster of a life :)
Sokka whispers "water tribe"😁😁😁
The water thing is the whole reason this movie took so long. Cameron is a big ocean geek. Just like for The Abyss, new aquatic special effects had to be invented to make his vision happen, and he commits to his dreams pretty hard. (Like being one of only three people, and the only solo dive, to ever reach the bottom of the Challenger Deep.)
I truly love your reactions. One of the few reactors than usually catch all the details
Was waiting for this!! Thank you so much for posting hahaha, you definitely always make my day after a tough work shift. Appreciate you
Been a fan of the channel for about two years now today just wanted to say I appreciate your kindness and commentary and it also is ya bois Birthday so glad that this reaction came out today 😊 keep up the good work and stay golden
You really should have seen this in a theater… particularly an IMAX theater.
It’s truly amazing to see that way!
Loving how often Nat is posting lately, I'm a patreon supporter but I find the youtube videos with the funny editing adds a lot of entertainment value. Keep up the great work guys!
You are patreon supporter ?
Can you please recommend Natalie to watch RRR .
You are patreon supporter so maybe she will hear you it's the no.1 movie of 2022 best movie in all ways possible
In her patreon community she did a poll to choose action flick , is that poll has RRR as option ? I am in highschool so I can't join the patreon
Can you tell me
@Sahil Sahu I actually did recommend it on the discord lol, got a bunch of likes but haven't seen it on any polls yet
I think they spent about four years writing all of the scripts, which expanded to four films eventually. So whether it'll all work or not, they've all been pretty meticulously planned out and written, story wise!
Watching this with my family we all cried in the theater 😂😂 even my dad
If you ever get a chance to see it in IMAX 3D you definitely should
The whole series of movies was apperently planned out by Cameron in the 90s, he just didn't think the CG capabilities were there yet to tell the story he wanted to.
That said, Way of Water is actually the *third* movie in his original plan, but apperently he decided that the second one wouldn't work as well as a movie so instead it got adapted into a visual novel that fills the gap between the original and Way of Water
