Never skipped the parasyte op.
Me neither
Yeah me too.
me neither
Sameo
For reall
sadly, the bassist Kei died for heart troubles in 2019, after that, FaLiLV took a break from music, and then they came back with a new bassist, Tetsuya, and a new song called The Stronger, The Further You'll Be, at the end of the video you can see Testuya holding his bass and Kei's bass, implying that he is honored to take Kei's place.
Umm... Sir not only one song! They released the whole new album with tetsuya
@@metal4360 oh i know, i was just saying they released that song first
The band doesn't use autotune, they're using a vocoder... I saw the video and realize it.
Btw most of this song is in English and a bit in Japanese if anyone didn’t know already
I was shocked when I saw the lyrics 😂
@@zainrajab648 yeah init same but still amazing song tho
Did you notice that the majority of the song is actually in english?
yes, you still can't understand it, but yeah 😂
@@bigfriki good point 😂
@@bigfriki i can understand it, and when you know the lyrics you can get it.
The pronounciation is destroyed😂
I mean it’s just a heavy accent 😂
If you're interested. This genre is called Digicore, which is a subgenre of Post-Hardcore Punk.
Yooo, you've earned my respect. The reason being you are one of the few reactors who has really great perspective and open mind to actually try to understand their musical stand point and the effects as positive.
FYI they are classified as "electroniccore" and the "clean" vocal uses Vocoder to make his voice seem robotic, and it's purely a stylistic choice to fit more into their genre. He can reach those high notes without it as well, as seen on lives etc.
The current band members are a little different than one in this video as one of their member has passed away sadly, and one of them left, and they had a new member now.
Obviously they like to mix and match different genres, but most of their songs are really energetic, due to their electronic feeling of music.
I recommend listening to some more recent stuffs like "Shine", "The stronger the further you'll be" etc.
Enjoyed the reaction, subscribed, and waiting for more, man :3
Man I watched the anime this song is used as an opening for in 8th grade and I remember bumping this song on full volume when I would go to study in the library. You can probably tell that not much homework would get completed lol. Even though the anime isn't as dear to me anymore, this song will always hold such a dear place to me.
Whoever requested this song, shame on them for not mentioning you’re supposed to read the lyrics as well.
Sounds Japanese 😂. But most of it is English
YES! I saw them live by chance in Japan before attending my first Babymetal live, i was really surprised by they energy on stage and awesome performance, dig deeply because there is more :D
Brings me back about the anime parasyte
same here but cry everytime i see it tho T_T
This song is masterpiece
The band name comes from sxun lead guitarist and leader (quit the band 2018) because he like this movie and he thought band name mostly come from movie.
Know this vid is almost a year old but did noone point out that Fear and Loathing in las Vegas actually is abook (on which the movie is based) and the band took the book as inspiration but movie and band have nothing to do with each other (so it basically is the coincidence of both being based/taken fromte same book). The Song Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold also is based on the book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and quotes from it
PS: The Main Singers voice is modulated with a vocoder
The lyrics actualy has a good massage
@A_ Guy It's all in English actually. You just need to listen.
@@ComicPhreak he’s taking the piss out of op’s comment cuz he misspelt message
@@ComicPhreak the chorus isnt
some pop some rock some metal some emo some screamo some disco some punk some progressive some 8bit retro game music
it's something watching them doing a having fun jammin music party without the context
Whaaaaat somebody that knows the difference from a vocoder and auto tune. Props.
The anime for this opening song is also really good! Parasyte if y'all wondering
Edit: a word
They also did one of the endings for HunterxHunter
The mOvIe
This band made me not hate autotune lol
with this band or you love it or you hate it, for me they are awesome, i think their music is so fun, im glad that you did a reaction , there is more good songs to check out, like "Crossover" is heavier, another one could be "Scream hard as you can"
he didn't realised that most lyrics are in english
Yeah it's like 90% in English. And I know the lyrics so I can sing along haha
Hello, I'm the one who made a request for FALILV!
I'm very pleased that you liked it (and way more that I thought you'd like it)
I requested another song(s) but this one is fine too. Except for the breakdown, this song is very toned down than the rest of their stuff (also becasuse this is an anime opening so they can't go all out)
but don't worry, this is still a good way to introduce urself to this band!
So as you can hear (ha..get it? let me hear..... as you can hear... ok i'll stop lmao) this band is up there with the crazyness and the meshing of many genres into one song.
One thing I love about this band is that, just like maximum the hormone, even if you know how they sound, you never get tired of them cuz you never know what you're getting next or what's next on the song (structure-wise).
Also I'm glad I warned you on the vocoder thingy of the blonde singer (name is "So" btw) because usually this band gets A LOT of shit for having this electronic feeling to it.
It gets heavily criticized but as you also said, I told you that after a while the more you hear from them the more you get used to it, and start to liking it! so if you liked it already from the beginning, then you'll have no problem in future! :D
Oh and the screaming..He (Minami) is probably my favorite male screamer. Not the most talented, that goes to another harsh vocalist, but he definitely brings energy and I love his high pitch screams and his low growls. Also I dig the style he has A LOT.
And to end this comment, as a drummer I have to say that their drummer is a beast. This is very basic of them (also their most popular song so yeah) but in some other songs, the drummer is the one that carries a lot of the song. He's veeery talented and I love his fills and the way he plays, very "performance" and artistic. I started developing his style into my style because it just looks awesome.
P.S. I hope you're gonna do the 2 songs "the stronger the further you'll be" and "Gong of the knockout" that I suggested :D
They have 4 vocalists with different duties, actually..
4?
@@juanjr4mirez minami, so, taiki, and sxun (now tetsuya)
So's autotune/8bit vibe really contrasts Minami's screams, and then Taiki is kind of in the middle holding hands with both of them with his strong yelling. They hit the full range of modern human vocal sounds in one composition and it makes each part more distinguishable/meaningful for me. Seconding everyone else's votes for more FALILV songs, and also for reading the lyrics (which are largely English and super positive??)
You should definitely listen to Just Awake by them. It’s an AMAZING song in my opinion
Lol yea bc of hxh
I've been a fan of FaLiL for many years now. Check out their 2017 album. Its fucking fantastic. May I suggest when you listen, have the lyrics out and read the message they are trying to say.
Their heaviest song -- "Crossover"
Recommended song, worth listening to!
Love your reacting video :D
What about Virtue and Vice?
oh I love this band😂
I cant skip this song in parasyte the maxim
寄生獣のOPはこれからって所で終わっちゃうよね
I just know its parasyte op nothing more man its great cool
I gotta say i feel like you give MTH a bit too much credit. The japanese loudrock scene is notorious for the experimental genre fusion thing.
If youd like to explore further from here Id HIGHLY reccomend some of these bands/songs.
Paledusk: Happy Talk, Leave Me Out
(Mixes electronicore with aggressive hip-hop)
Crossfaith: Omen, The Perfect Nightmare
(Primarily Metalcore with a lot of songs incorporating electronic/edm.)
Hone Your Sense: Broken Toys in Attic, Dial 666
(Deathcore with some songs including hints of jazzy swing beats.)
Crystal Lake: like, the whole helix album i guess?
(Idk litterally listen to their whole fucking discography. They deserve it and im not trynna write a 5 page thesis on them rn explaining why. You'll get it when youve heard enough of their shit. Litteral gods. Theres a reason their vocalist Ryo is wanted for features with like every other metalcore/deathcore band in the fucking universe.)
that high pitch...damn!
have you heard 'just awake'?
hunter x hunter ending song
Definitely a super fun song!!! I found it because it's the intro to the Parasyte anime. 🤘🤘🤘
One other thing... :)
Basically, I am an autotune hater myself. BUT...in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' music, it WORKS.
Because, in their music, there's always a GOOD contrast between the autotune and the screaming hard vocals.
Plus, they always have several different music styles going in one single song without spoiling any of them. The amazing thing is...they make all those different genres work, period.
its actually not autotune, they use vocoder to make his voice sound more electronic, look it up
@@junidaydreamer I still have a hard time telling autotune ( which is automatic ) from a vocoder ( which is more manual ) at times. ^ ^;
@@GirlFromNippon i guess vocoder just sounds a lot more consistent than autotune
@@junidaydreamer Hmm. Not completely changed but closer to his actual voice, eh ? 🎤
@@GirlFromNippon you need to sing well to use Vocoder, if you make a little mistake you'll shit it up the song, that's why I love this band, they're just fuckin talented
im pretty sure their genere is electronicore
Sounds like the name of a Decepticon lol
@@chrismaguren9649 electronicore vs optimus prime
That sounds cool, first time knowing such name exist.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: Scream Hard As You Can
The best.
The heaviest from 2013 or 2012
opening for Parasyte the Maxim. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
They also did one of the endings for HunterxHunter
Do their song Crossover. Heavy vocals and they show what you can do with hardcore vocals with digital effects.
Easily one of their best songs
2:57 exactly me too
LOVE THE DOOM SHIRT
They blend rave music with heavy metal nicely
Check out their song Power of life and death live. It’s a good performance
If you want to hear a heavier song, try Crossover - Fear and Loathing and Las Vegas, both vocals scream and prepare your heart :)
Calling Minami the background vocalist made me laugh cuz I knew what was coming. This song is incredibly misleading from start to finish and its my favorite song to show people who dont know FaLiLV yet. Theyre my all time favorite for that reason.
He said "background vocalist" and I said U MEAN MINAMI?? out loud because I am an infant
Anyone know what effect lead guitar uses?

with that background you absolutely should check out BATMETAL Trilogy
Please do more reaction of this band
My favorit music
If you want more from them, I recommend you Thunderclap. And for a song more recent : The Stronger, The Further You'll Be.
Good reaction btw :D
If you watch anime this is the intro to parasyte and they also do an outro for Hunter x Hunter
They do the intro for baki also
Karma is their best song imo literally chills
I like parisyte
Is it bad that I kinda like it? It kinda works in this one..
Virtue and vice by fear and loathing in las vegas next please.
Queen is one of the first band that started Genre Mashup. From Queen ll album March of the Black Queen is one of the first. The most well knows is Bohemian Rhapsody
I'd love to see you react to some of Blinding Sunrise's covers.
They do incredible anime covers. Gurunge, silhouette, Adamas to name a few. Please give them a watch! :)
OMG!!! good reaction men :) Please react to Virtue and Vice or The Stronger the Further you'll be.
That dethklok background is just gorgeous. This band has been my top list since 6 years now they've got me into heavy metal and most extreme metal genres
Eletronicore band, there is some bands that the autotone doesnt work. This band is an exception.
Can u react to Thunderclap live
That's not really autotune. It's more vocoder. (Sure they use autotune too in studio recordings to adjust stuff but not that much.)
Vocoder is just an effect on So's voice. Doesn't "fix" his voice at all and I know this because as you know, he can handle his shit during live and doesn't sound much different at all from the studio version. He's definitely talented.
@@katarinanokami2718 Mi So es hermoso UwU. Minami do Fry/False screams, but his screams is like a death metal singer.
Do Sxun use effect on his voice in Sparkling sky?
And Kei in Accept each other?
How can i scream like Taiki?
@@voluspa1954 Well I think Minami is more closer to a screamo/deathcore type of screams.
I don't know, Sxun left the band so who cares lol
Well, for Minami, it just takes time practicing and knowing the correct way to do screams, but for Taiki I guess it's just throat work.
@@katarinanokami2718 I do. Cause if you pay attention to the lyrics of that song, that solo sing is special. And in th end, you can hear the scream of Sxun OwO
and one last question, what´s of the name of the technique (guitar) they used in Burn the disco floor?
@@voluspa1954 I don't.. think Sxun screams. Only So and Minami do. I never heard Sxun do a growl or scream.
Also why are you asking all these questions? Im not a sound engineer NOR a professional coach.
Their sound is special for sure. The vocaloids in particular seem to be a big turnoff for people, though i'd argue that they are not used to mask flaws in the singing, which is what i think is generally looked down upon. Their style can also be jarring at times, their transitions not smooth at all, which doesn't make for a good listening experience when it's blasting in the background imo. From a technical perspective, one could have a field day with them or so i'm told. I don't know shit about music and just enjoy the sound. There's just nothing comparable out there that i have heard.
Obsession
React - the stronger the further you'll be.
yep this really reminds me of maxim the hormone
Reacciona a "virtue and vice" , de la misma banda plis 🤟
The band are named after the film

Who Skip's this in parasyte and never listened had lost a fucking good song
Next : The Rock - Kamu Kamulah Surgaku
Using autotune to enhance the singer voice like some losing raper => Fail
Luckily it's one of the only song with such BS
Listen to live shows, their vocalist clean vocalist can hit the notes with his own voice, the vocoder effect is a stylistic choice, as someone above said. And I think it fits amazingly, pulls a little from paying attention to the lyrics but contributes hugely to hearing how amazing the melodies and harmonies work together.
Melpheos1er autotune and vocoder are different
