Autotune to me, is kind of just a musical tool. I firmly believe that any sound or tool could be used in some way to make good music if its used well. I love when this band uses it.
memesaredead I liked it in OxT - Clattanoia to be honest haha. I didn’t think I would but the heavy music maybe drowned it out. This song was also good because of the drums and heavy vocals but I little too much auto tune for me. Anyway I’ve added it to my playlist as it’s a good song!

Thanks for the reaction. They're a crazy band and I love them. I get that the autotune can be a bit much, but it's just part of their sound. I think they have a couple of songs like "Crossover" where there's just screaming. But this song is pretty representative of their overall work.

when I hear this band I always imagine a fighting scene or cool action. I always listen to this band because it always hype me to do something damn can't explain how but that mario piano gives me nostalgia where I was hyped by retro games as a kid

@@DecvsJapan if you wanna hear this band without autotune, check out "crossover".. Also "Believe Yourself" is one of their songs that the clean vocalist not using autotune, but this song doesn't have any pv or live video. You only can hear the music. Actually they use the autotune or vocoder or something like that not because the clean vocalist cannot sing, but sometimes electronicore sounds better if using some effect in the vocal I guess 🤔

As far as the name Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, it's the name of a (semi-autobiographical) book by Hunter S. Thompson that was made into a movie starring Johnny Depp. So, at least it's not just random Engrish in this case.

I love clattanoia too , and of course this . Both are masterpieces , but this band not using autotune but vocoder btw hehe .
It’s not auto tune, the singer is using a vocoder which gives the vocals a bit more of a robotic feel but he is hitting all of the notes on his own.
Passcode is kind of like the all female version of this, but the growl vocals are more prevalent. Mary's Blood is a heavy all female band, Aldious, and Gacharic spin are not quite as heavy more along the lines of Band Maid.

Ah and if youre looking for awesome technical drumming, you might want to check out the Japanese Math Rock scene. (I know its a terrible name for a genre) Toe, Tricot, and Haisuinonasa are some great bands with beautiful but technical songs.

Also in falilv reactions video people say about autotune. There is only one somg of this band without autotune on so vocals. Its called "Believe yourself" And it sounds like completly other vocalist but it is the same. You should will checkt it. This song proud that he can sing without efx im just mean that autotune with this electro-metalcore style sounds clear.

The blonde singer (So) he's using vocoder, not autotune, and he use it bc is a style for him using that efect, for their songs in general, but he doesn't use it bc of he can't sing well, bc he really can sing well, just listen the live's versions and u will see.
Yeh I reacted to another song by them (forgot the name but it's on my channel) and he didn't use it and it was great!
Fear and loathing in Las Vegas is a movie and kind of interesting one involved in drug smuggling

Request: their song The Stronger, The Further You'll Be. To me, I feel like I don't like autotune when it's not used stylistically. For this band and Daft Punk, for example, it's a stylistic choice, but when I hear it in something else where the singer is singing and you hear the autotune, especially when it's enough where you hear it but it's not prominent enough for it to be called a stylistic choice, that's when it kind of bugs me... Not sure if what I read was correct, but Minami (keyboardist) played classical music on the piano but also enjoyed playing sounds from video games. With that in mind and the unique style of the band, I feel like I'm okay with their use of autotune lol but that's just me and I know it's not for everyone.

Just a heads up. The labels and publicists and agencies and whatnot for some -- not all -- Japanese bands have been known to go after reaction channels. About 6 months ago, there was a wave of copyright strikes for channels containing Wagakki Band, Fear and Loathing, and Maximum The Hormone. I'm surprised that people are still requesting reactions to these bands -- amazing as the music is, your subscribers should really know better.

ImberNoctis Wow I need to be careful then. Some of my videos have been blocked in Japan - so I can’t watch my own videos lol. I’ve done Maximum the Hormone and Wagakki Band and both seem safe so far. If I get one strike I’ll stick to the safer bands.

Vocoder it is
The autotune lead vocals is what keeps me from listening to this band on a regular basis. I get why people like em, but it's not for me. Which is sad because the rest of the package is fantastic.
