Metallica Sega Genesis remix - For Whom The Bell Tolls

This is how For Whom The Bell Tolls might sound if Guitar Hero: Metallica had some out on the Sega Genesis; the vocals are the original thing, but everything else uses those sweet 16-bit sounds.
This is not technically that authentic, as I don't think you could use this many different tracks at once on the original machine, and I imagine the actual vocal track would have filled about 100 cartridges, so think of it more as James Hetfield doing a solo concert, and his backing band is a couple of Sega Megadrives connected to a PA. Also he got thirty years younger.

This is pretty neat, nice job. I have to laugh about the vocals though, I know you weren't going for authenticity in the sound but if you were... well, the real Genesis hardware only has 8 kb of audio RAM. Bit crushing all of the song's vocals into digital samples would probably have had them end up sounding like a dot matrix printer eating a dial-up modem. 🤣
