Saying "waza to da" and "waza to janai" would be more accurate to the use of kanji in the expression. Though maybe that's just me liking particles as having their own space in romaji.

@@io3207 The reply @Gubby gave almost answers the question, but not quite. Why is it in D major, using C as key signature? A key signature only tells you which notes should be natural, sharped or flatted (for western 18th century music theory) [1]. So it strictly speaking doesn't say anything about the scale a piece of music is in. The key signature for this piece of music has strictly only natural notes. This can correspond to various scales and modes. One such scale is C Major (Ionian) [2]. Another such mode is D Dorian [2]. The reason I mentioned Dorian is that I perceive the functions of each chord to be leading to D as the tonic such that I conclude that the mode this piece is written in is D Dorian. This is emphasised for me by the Dm9 chord being played for 3 beats out of the 5 (5/4 time signature), as well as the piece ending on the Dm9 chord. So I hear this as a piece in D Dorian. However, it could be that you perceive it in C major. [1] S. M. Kostka, D. Payne, and B. Almén, "Tonal harmony: with an introduction to post-tonal music" (8th ed.). For the people that really want to play this, but neither have three arms nor a very flexible leg with good foot dexterity. You can actually compress the left two hands into one hand that does both. It won't have a rich of a sound of course since it won't be with the 7th and there won't be an octave between the two, but it is still very close in sound and don't forget the rythm.
@@giuseppeagresta1425 yeah if you are really fast and precise, but imma be real. The jump itself is not an issue, but the speed is. If I slow it down a little then it works consistently, but the actual speed breaks it for me. Haven't tried it in a year, though. Maybe I'm good enough now.
