Thanks Yuliya for showing the different lighting positions. One question, with the Loop and Rembrant lighting. Is the left side of the model's hair faintly lit by the hanging and wall lights you have, as it looks like a Rim light on her hair even though you are using one main light? Thanks.
Thanks Yuliya very much for sharing your experience on how 5 light positions during one photo session can improve the photography results.. please keep lecturing for the industry advancement worldwide.. wishing you success🌹👍🥂
Hello Ahmad. Thank you so much for your comment. It is incredible to see the most famous portrait lightings can be achieve with a one-lightingh setup only. And I agree! Then we can enhance the portrait by adding different lighting setups.
I wonder what kind of boom do you use, I tried to use boom but it requires additional weight to balance the light, I see you have no additional weight, does it mean lamp is not heavy or boom is special?
Hello Jacek! Thank you for your question. The one that I use is by flashpoint and they are called C-stand. I will send you a link. They are heavy duty so they don’t fall. I put 5x bigger lights and they won’t fall. But also, there is a proper way using c-stands or booms. 1. The grip has to be in the left. 2. The pole or bar has to be in the top holes of the grip. 3. The longer leg has to face the talent or be at the same direction of the light. Sorry, I know it’s hard to describe and it’s better to show :)
