I cracked up when I read this interview with Marie Kondo “Up until now, I was a professional tidier, so I did my best to keep my home tidy at all times,” she said through an interpreter. “I have kind of given up on that in a good way for me. Now I realise what is important to me is enjoying spending time with my children at home.”

I've only been subscribed a wee while but love your videos! Funny hearing an English accent on a channel about the Highlands but you have such a gentle nature that fits right in. I'm on a constant decluttering journey as years of collected things and two children to pick up after so thank you for showing us that decluttering doesn't have to be a big, all or nothing thing, and that you can be happy with even the smallest progress forward. It's really inspiring ☺️ Also am obsessed with your mugs!
Thank you so much for your support! I'm also obsessed with my mugs 😅💚
I've had Marie Kondo's first book for quite a few years now and completely changed the way I fold my clothes (and hubby's) and my drawers are now so much tidier and hold more. You are so lucky to be living a minimalist lifestyle anyway!!
The folding is the best! 😊
It feels good watching you tackle all your stuff in such a short amount of time. I use a hanging pocket organizer for my tech cords and whatnots. Maybe something you can stitch up and hang inside the cubby could work for you.
That's a good idea! Thank you 😊
Lovely episode, big fan of Marie Kondo, methods stop me getting overwhelmed as I'm a bit of a maximalist ( unlike my DH who is minimalist). I use ziffit to declutter my many books, usually end up using my credit to buy more though. Really admire how you manage the Tiny House living.
Thank you! 😊💚
Thanks, Molly, for the motivation! 🙏🏻 My beauty / make-up / jewellery collection looks just like yours! 😂
I'm glad I'm not the only one! 😊💚
Thanks, Molly! This was a lovely video and very inspiring 😊 I think I’ll take some time next weekend to start the decluttering process!
Ah great! Good luck 😊
I’m watching all your videos at the moment. Love this one. So inspiring xx
Aw thank you!
I also love to declutter seasonally and change a bit of decor. I donate most of my items to local charity shops and whilst I'm there, I buy myself a book as a reward.
Thats a great incentive!
Love all your videos, a kindly reminder to declutter one’s space.
I'm so glad you enjoyed! 😊💚
You are amazing Molly to share so much from your personal life. Thankyou. Bless you Philippa Australia
😊💚
Brand new ink cartridges typically sell very well and fast on ebay. Thanks for the inspiring video!
You have really inspired me to do another declutter after watching this Molly. Love following the Marie Kondo method. I have read both the books and loved Spark Joy and her TV series too. It always feels so good after having a clear out of things we no longer need or use. Thanks for inspiring me to start another one.🙂🏴
It is the best feeling! 😊💚
I love your tiny house! Love the accent colors you chose. Especially the kitchen tile
I like your videos. A suprise was your comment of using the bathroom in the Main House. I did not know your tiny house was not your only house. Still subscribed though.
This is great Molly! I'm off to declutter my books! Thank you 😊
I’ve just discovered your content and wow I love it! Also loved this video and any organization/decluttering topics.
I typically hold onto greeting cards/birthday cards and struggle to part with them! Paper is a category that I need to work to declutter more often.
Thanks Molly for sharing your decluttering method. I have heard of Maria Kondo.❤️
I'm glad you enjoyed 😊💚
Thanks for the inspiring video Molly. It's just gone autumn here in NZ and I'm having a bit of a declutter. The change of seasons is great for that isn't it. I'm always surprised what we hold onto that we don't really need or use.
I'm glad you enjoyed! Nothing like the energy of changing seasons 😊💚
💓💓💓
You've inspired me to take a serious look at things I have that I think I might still have a use for someday, but most likely never will. I'm curious how many square feet your tiny house is.
I'm glad! Oh I'm not sure about square foot, but its 8m long, 2.4m wide and almost 3m tall if you can figure it out from that 😅
That is tiny! Compared to other people I know, I don't have a lot of stuff. I'm very frugal, but my weakness has been thrift shops. There's one next to my favorite grocery store. It's hard for me to pass up a bargain, which explains why I have six beanie caps in my drawer. When I was looking for a work shirt to use in the yard, I bought one at the thrift. And when I brought it home, it looked too good to wear in the yard, so I hung it in the closet to wear as an everyday shirt. I repeated this exercise four times before I found a shirt that I didn't feel guilty getting dirty.
I'm really trying, but I still have a ways to go before I can honestly call myself a minimalist.
Great to learn how you declutter. Too bad the Inclusev brand isn't sold in Canada. Looks like a good product and more environmental.
I'm glad you enjoyed!
💗
😊
Where the Crawdads Sing is an awesome book. The movie was disappointing.
Oh I've not seen the film so that's good to know! 💚
You did so well with your decluttering, I wasn’t sure you’d find anything to declutter.
I enjoyed the film, but I did not read the book.
I tend to like books more in general, but more so if I read a book before I see a movie.
@@barefootvibes8896 Yes that's usually the case. The thing is, when I was reading the book, I was thinking OMG I hope this becomes a movie! It would be sooooo good...... that's why I was disappointed I guess. High expectations. LOL
@@marykaren7542 We have all been there! I try to temper my expectations when I go see something that I have been looking forward to.
It's ko mo no not koh moh noh, it's Japanese it means 'small things' 👍
