~ About the Show | Magriza Made Me Cook
Magriza is slang for uGogo (Grandmother in isiNdebele) and the name of the show is derived from Prince's inspiration for falling in love with cooking; his grandmother. The goal of MMMC is to document and serve Africa's diverse food culture, one dish at a time. We believe that Africa has got unique meals that ought to be talked about, and most importantly, cooked consistently. We believe in the values of Ubuntu, Respect, Creativity and Minimalism.

I’m very sorry for your loss Mahlangu. I personally knew this young man (Nkosentsha F. Mpofu) from Luveve. I also personally know both his parents. His father was a former teacher where I did my secondary school at Inyanda Sec School before his multiple promotions until Provincial education Director for Matabeleland North. His mother was a former teacher at Mafakela primary school. I’m curious; how did you know Nko?
Hie M.S. Nkosentsha was my cousin brother.
@@MagrizaMadeMeCook again, I’m very sorry mfethu. I grew up with his cousin who lived with the Nko family, uZwelani M. I was one stream ahead of him at Inyanda secondary school. I actually received a photo of him that was forwarded to me, saying, “ Nko gone to soon, you wedded in December”. I was shattered and after a call to ZW from my base in Canada, my parents confirmed the sad news that he succumbed to COVID-19. His father was also infected with it. I still can’t believe that boy is gone...life. MHSRIP
Thank you M.S.

Mint is harmful!
When consumed in excess. In moderation, it has its benefits.
