🐣 Building Small Backyard Coop 🐔 • DIY Building a Small B...
We just bought a 2 acre property that had been abandoned for many years. Our plan is to breathe life back into this neglected homestead. Step one is raising some chickens and building them a new home.

Great video Stan , lovely to see you back. Wonderful to see the children involved in the build, fantastic memories made for all of you.
Thanks Mark and your right, fantastic memories.
I think the little helper (as they are) was more about chilling with her dad for a day
Good observation. You may be right.
Beautiful coop! Love the editing and music! So much fun to watch. Better than other youtubers out there 😂🐓
Thanks so much 😊
Im super happy to see videos from this channel again and I cant wait to see what you and your family do with the property!!!
Super happy to hear it. Thanks for watching Joely.
Here Ye. Here Ye!
It is handy that you have such helpers at different heights for screwing the sides together
That is a great observation. So tru. :)
This video was not only informative but it also had some comedy thrown in. I am glad I found your channel.
Glad to hear it!
Cutting to fit is an exercise in frustration. Words of wisdom
So Tru!
Very nice coop!♡♡♡♡
Thank you Loren!
😎
Great Coop where did you get it from? ha ha ha just joking, one thing though it is a great coop and a cracking build, your gang of helpers did well so i hope you paid them well, and i don't mean in Chicken Eggs either as i saw a quick glimpse of one at the end of the video.
Stay Safe,

Haha! Believe it or not that joke was inspired by real events. The guy that cut down our maple tree asked me where I bought it from. I looked at him with offense and said, "I don't buy things!"
Great video as usual.
Request from my wife; can you level out the sound. Not sure if you're aware of the major fluctuations in volume.
I'm curious if there is a way to do that when editing?
I try to take the edge off the tool sounds if that is what you are talking about. Then when music or my voice comes in at volume it may sound abrupt. I didn't notice anything outrageous while editing. Is this something in this video only or consistent in all my videos?
I appreciate muting tool sounds. More youtubers should do so
@@simplyeasydiy I guess it's subjective. Transition to music is loud for sure.
We're streaming to our television.
I guess I was thinking maybe there is a function in editing that balances the volume. I understand it's not like you're playing the music into the video loudly, I understand it's inserted digitally.
Nothing that automatically does it. I do it manually. It gets tedious on these longer videos and is always possible I miss a couple clips here or there. I do respect your comment and legitimately looked into it. I will always appreciate the input from the ones that watch early and comment often.
@@simplyeasydiy Cool. Yeah I wouldn't worry about it then. Definitely was meant to be constructive advice.
Edit: I searched RUclips and found videos talking about volume normalization. Specifically one from a guy with a channel about pianos; I don't remember the name and can't look back while typing this.
Welcome to FL! What part did you move to?
Thanks Kyle. I've lived in Florida for 20 years. My wife grew up here and our tiny ones have never lived anywhere else. We just moved from Central Florida to North Florida.
